I went in for shoulder and knee problems. My back was not the issue and had been fine. The chiropractor adjusted my spine anyway. After that adjustment my back is worse, and I am now facing possible vertebral artery dissection (VAD). This condition can lead to stroke and even death. I did not request a spinal or neck adjustment and would not have agreed to it. I cannot recommend this provider. read more

I found Dr. Valdez last year while traveling, and I'm so glad I did. I was in severe pain and could barely walk, and within four days he had me moving again. I recently brought my dad in as well, and Dr. Valdez helped him tremendously. He truly takes his time, listens carefully, and makes you feel heard and cared for. He's an amazing person and an outstanding chiropractor. The staff is also wonderful--friendly, professional, and welcoming. Great service and even better results. Highly recommend! read more

They over charge first of all The x ray is a little over 200+$ which I stayed without money that day ... Then they charged me 80$ then I "had" to come back 4 more times 80$ each time And didn't get my back fixed I've had this pain for 3 years and all he did was crack my back and the nurses put a heating pad and a massage machine on my back and that's it. I found someone else and I am Truly impressed she told me this man stole my money and didn't fix me. I am forever grateful for this women that fixed me 3 years and I can finally sit up without pain she did me a miracle I started to recommend people to her. That's how good she is ! But this man Valdez is not it I'm sorry at least not for me. And he's expensive . read more

Office staff is great. Doctor Valdez professional service gives you confidence and quality care. Overall very satisfied with my recovery.

Great care, personal experience. Not overpriced. I highly recommend to anybody with back or hip problems.

WOW. First of all, the lobby is beautiful! The moment you walk in, it feels very homey. Second of all, I was able to make an appointment and be seen right away! No waiting, no delays. Last, but not least, staff and doctor were all so kind!! Chiropractor: IT WORKED. Once the doctor adjusted my back and I stood up my pain went down 50%!!! I was amazed since I was able to barely walk/sit what a relief to have this kind of relief! I found this office by Yelp, and took the opportunity to be seen asap. I had an appointment elsewhere in 2 days but I couldn't wait!! I was dealing with sciatica nerve pain going down to my thighs :( Today was my first appointment but I am already super satisfied by the service! Will return for follow up appointments. Ps. I paid out of pocket. $75 initial visit + service and an additional $30 for each X-ray(s). Definitely worth the money I spent to get rid of this pain. read more

SPORTS INJURY REVIEW: I'm not an athlete but I took on weightlifting and during an exercise I felt a sharp pain in my lower back. The next morning, I was in massive pain and practically immobile. Just bending over to put on my socks was torture. My family recommended Dr. Valdez and my mother quickly made an appointment for me. Dr. Valdez's entire staff is superb and very hospitable. Dr. Valdez took and x-Ray of my back and pointed out where I had inflammation as result of improper posture during weightlifting. I was given a heat treatment that also provided electric stimulation for my lower back. The treatment worked wonders and I was able to move around more freely. Dr. Valdez also readjusted my back and neck. You should have heard my neck crack lol! It felt so good afterwards. PROS: Dr. Valdez is a genuine person and doctor. He cares about his patients. Very easy to make a same day appointment and his office is open late and impeccably clean. This is a doctor you can trust! TIP: Massage therapy for stress is now available. Recommended! read more

Valdez Chiropractic - Chiropractors Near Me - Montebello, California

I came here cause I had a really bad pain on my middle back. I was recommended to them by a family member. I was told it was cheap and good. So I called and they gave me a really good price so I said wth let's do it. When I get there you park out in back which is cool, just drive through the alley and you will see the entrance. The staff there is very nice and attentive, the Dr included. He was really quick to diagnose the problem, but continued to send me over to get some xrays, which bumped up my bill 100$ more. Then came the adjustment, felt good for the most part, I'm not blaming the Dr, maybe it was me being tense waiting for that neck jerk but when he finally did it, it actually hurt. The pain didn't really go away on my back, and I left there with a new neck pain. read more

What a waste of time, went out of my way to visit this guy. Staff was friendly, but the doctor is a sensitive person. He just started to ask about the pain, if it comes and goes. I explained that it does sometimes it hurts and other times it "F*cken hurts really bad." Literally told me don't talk like that. I told him "I'm explaining my pain, which does f-ing hurt sometimes." Long story short, he said to leave if I'm going to be talking like that so I complied and walked out. I'll be taking my business else where. read more

I've been going to Dr. Valdez for over 20 years for adjustments. I have a touch of scoliosis and my spine has a tendency to get out if alignment. Dr. Valdez has a gift for detecting exactly where the source of the problem comes from, and putting things back where they go. Plus, he takes the time to listen to you and even offers words of wisdom. Also, the office is decorated in a wonderful Spanish Style that I just love. 5 stars for great doctor, great treatment and full service facility, great staff, fast appointments and beautiful decor. Staff was super friendly. The Chiropractor was very attentive, informative, and helpful. The office was very clean. I love this place!

They are opened during COVID-19, they will check your temperature to make sure you are not carrying the virus, very clean office and nice setting. The staff was polite and helpful, Dr. Valdez was great and honest explained the entire process to me (in normal terms since I am not familiar with medical terminology.) Best decision ever, I feel 10 years younger. Went in for lower back injury caused by Romanian deadlifts and this excruciating pain would not go away after a month of pain, I was desperate even purchased a back brace (which I didn't want to purchase), but the pain wouldn't go away and it was only getting worse. Dr. Valdez worked on my back, neck and feet. Everything he did helped me so much I decided to write this review and help convince anyone who may be in the same situation. Take care and stay safe! read more
