Started seeing the Doctor after having a knee injury from sport (jiu jitsu) and the knee pain would not go away. After about 2 months of the pain getting worse, I started seeing Dr. El-Souki. Within a few visits the knee pain was much better. After multiple visits most of the knee pain is gone. Dr. El-Souki not only addresses the issue, but other issues that I was not aware of, he does a great check-up/diagnostic of the whole body and even aligned my ankles and pointed out some mid back tightness I had. My wife was experiencing severe back pain, to the point, where she could not stand. I've been going to Dr El-Souki for a number of years. He is one of the few chiropractors who can give you and "adjustment" just by using acupressure, myofascial release, kinesiology, trigger-point therapy, etc. WITHOUT any popping of the vertebrae. It's incredible. A couple weeks back, I got slammed on my head by a wave in the ocean. I was in terrible pain. I called El-Souki's office late in the afternoon, who said to start driving, we'll fit you in at the end of the day as an emergency patient. Dr El-Souki stayed late, and undid 50% to 70% of the damage caused by the wave. By undoing most of the damage the same day, the injury was not allow to "set in" and become chronic. I went back 2 more time and he got rid of the rest of the injury. I've been going to chiro's for 3 decades or so. A regular chiro would have required me to come 3x a week for 3 weeks, then 2x a week for 4 weeks, etc. to undo the trauma, but El-Souki undid the whole thing in just 3 visits. I have a friend with sciatica. When the pain flares up, her local chiropractor take 3 visits to get rid of the pain. Tell me how fortunate you feel when you find an experienced but honest mechanic, or plumber or lawyer, now multiply that feeling by a hundred and I'll tell you that's how I felt when I started seeing Dr. El-Souki for my shoulder injury. I had limited backward mobility on my right arm as a result of a fall. I had gone to see a physical therapist and while the exercises provided by this specialist helped to a certain extent, I felt that more could be done to hasten the recovery process. I went to see Dr. El-Souki based on the positive reviews on this site, but most importantly because of his proximity to my home. Dr. El-Souki practice is a holistic one so that while the pain was in my shoulder and arm, he treated my neck which was the source of my problem, my back, and my hip area. The latter two had been impacted by an unconscious misalignment favoring my shoulder to reduce the pain. Dr. El-Souki methods are a combination of several disciplines - pressure points, stretching, massage, etc.. but he does not employ any harsh and sudden movements. I had a great experience here. I was hardly able to get in and out of my car before my first visit. I had excruciating pain in my lower back. I definitely RECOMMEND for everyone to come!!!!!!! Prior to the month of December in 2015, my husband had been going to multiple chiropractors hoping for a fix to his sciatic pain. From June to December of that year he experienced a whirlwind of symptoms aside from his pain. We had good insurance or so we thought. He was suffering from headaches, dizziness, back spasms, neck problems, respiratory problems, he was walking completely to his right side, blood pressure and gastrointestinal issues. Yet from June to December we visited the ER many times. Under the doctor's care my husband had a range of tests done. He had multiple, x-rays, MRI, EKG, blood tests, and even remained under heart attack watch. Despite all these tests doctor after doctor said that he was perfectly healthy. We did it out of necessity because it seemed as if our insurance was no longer doing any good to us as a wife I wasn't entirely sure what to do for him. I came across Dr. Souki because my PCP is across the hall from him. After going to another chiropractor and still in excruciating pain, I went back to my PCP to get and injection for my pain (neck, back, shoulders radiating down to my mid pain). I decided to by chance walk into his office and ask about his services. I had a consultation with Dr. Souki and he explained my pain, trigger points and pressure points. Although I had gone to the other chiropractor that morning I decided to have Dr. Souki treatment that same day, I was feeling desperately in need of some pain relief - I was taking, Norco, Soma, Gabapentin, Diclofen, and Baclofen concurrently and I was still in tremendous pain. I have to say my experience with this doctor was completely different than the other chiropractors that have treated me. Dr. Souki focuses on Acupressure, Triggers points that are causing the pain. He doesn't do much spinal manipulation except for the neck but even then he is super gentle. He spent about 2 hours working on my trigger points, icing, massaging the knots, etc. It was a somewhat painful experience that was worth it the second I got up. Once I stood up, I was pain free! Pain free!!!! I hadn't felt pain free in months!!!! I was overjoyed and had to give him a huge Thank You hug!!! I can't recommend him enough.
