I ordered golf clubs from a company in Arizona. The clubs were picked up in Tucson then brought to Scottsdale where they sat for 2 days. I finally got a text from FedEx that the clubs were picked up and shipped to me in Saratoga. They gave me a delivery date of 6-22 by end of day. At 7:00 pm I checked tracking and it read " no delivery date is provided". I called FedEx and a gentleman with an extremely heavy accent answered the phone, I gave him my tracking number and he told me due to heavy shipping volume I would receive my items on 6-24. I told him this is was unacceptable as FedEx gave me a delivery date of 6-22. He promptly ended the call. Tomorrow I will be calling the club manufacturer as I paid $60 for shipping. Everything was fine until my package that I ordered ended up being delayed for 4 days. God, now I know why people hate packages getting stuck there. I had to do some research in finding out why. Today, I finally got in update which will be arriving on 3/3/22. I'm glad to get an update about my package, but it got shipped to Northampton, PA! WTF! It should have arrived in Seattle, WA which Oregon is one state away from WA. It just makes no sense. Did they put my package on the wrong plane and that the reason why it was delayed for so long? Anyway, all I can say is that my package better come in one peace. If not, and is damaged. For years now I've had numerous issues getting packages here in Portland, via FedEx. And today is just another one of those days. I find it funny how the customer service reps say they care about me and understand my frustrations. Yeah, you do? I seldom have deliveries from FedEx but I've had 5 instances that gives them at the most 1-Star. This is concerning FedEx at North Jackson, Ohio. 1. Claim they delivered a $500+ fire pit but I never received it. 2. Claim they delivered a $800 flat screen TV but I never received it. 3. Delivered several packages to a neighbor down the street, that neighbor brought them to me. 4. I had a delivery of live vegetation - trees and bushes. The driver was throwing them off the truck onto my driveway. They were well packaged, the only thing that saved them. 5. I reported a drive who thought our short street was and Indy racecar track. She was out of control and even ran the stop sign. This was a daily occurrence. read more

My son sent us two packages that were supposed to be delivered on December 28th, 2021. We understood that weather hampered the movement from California and were expecting the delivery sometime after. Starting on Dec 29 and every day thereafter we received a text that our packages were out for delivery, even on Sunday, Jan 2nd. The roads and ice were long gone on Sunday and have not returned but yesterday and today they promised it by 8pm. On Jan 4th at 8:03pm I called FedEx's 800-463-3339 line, talked to an agent who said he would call the driver with whom he claimed to have talked, the driver had our phone numbers and would call and promised the parcels would be delivered by 10pm. We NEVER heard from the driver. LIES, LIES, & more LIES since this "delivery" began. They are absolutely AWFUL and don't deserve to be in business. Last year they delivered our son's shipment to the WRONG ADDRESS and were absolutely unhelpful. I spent a day looking for it and found it at the FedEx store in the BG Walmart, because the person who received it, brought it there immediately. read more

This Fedex location is the worst. I unfortunately purchase items in Portland that go through this center and they are here for at least 4 days (!!!) before moving on to Redding/Sacramento. This would be a 2 day shipment. I'm surprised this place is still functioning. I understand it's COVID times (whatever) but there's other hubs that are functioning and working at a normal pace without issues. Every time I have a shipment sent via FedEx that is over $100 it gets delayed and the customer service shows a different status than what is on their tracking on their website. I have had to open several incident cases with them. Interestingly they say they will call me or email me back once the case is created and then the next day the package miraculously shows up on my doorstep. They are the worst shipping company I have ever had to deal with. Why would anyone want to ship with them when they are never on time? So here I sit for the second night after waiting all day long for a package that was supposed to arrive yesterday according to their tracker, didn't and I wasn't notified until today at 5:30 am. OK, so I hope it's going to be delivered today. It says,like yesterday, it's on a delivery truck and should arrive by the end of the day. Oh hell no it didn't! That is 2 days full 14 hour days, from 8am until 10pm I've had to wait and they no show. Problem is the package requires a signature. Now it's Friday, I've spent over an hour on hold, I've downloaded their tracking app and it's been useless. Last week our paychecks ( which get delivered by fedex express haha) got rerouted to california and we all got paid 3 days late! We all have automatic bill payments coming out that got denied, cost us money in late fee's overdraft fee's no one cares! There is NO communication within managment, typical guy stuff. Delivery updates are USELESS when you just tell me what I already know... "unknown delivery issue' and 'unknown delivery code' are NOT explainations or updates. They just say 'gee, sorry we don't know, duh" The guy that finally delivered them seemed surprized that we were all there waiting for him, as if no one told him that was an important EXPRESS delivery...Of course my Chewy orders deliver through them and most of the time the 40 lb bag of litter is on top of everything else crushing treats and food every time. I get it they are heavy but ITS YOUR JOB. When I worked at a hotel our service elevator broke, for 2 years I hucked 40 lb boxes up and down 2 evil staircases every day, I'm a 100 lb woman and I could handle that because it became my job! My Chewy order currently has been 'out for delivery' on the truck for 4 days now, they do this because I complained and its the same frigging ahole every time, I wish he would get fired already, maybe they don't fire and thats the problem. Zero stars, that's it. I have avoided FedEx as much as I can because the Troutdale location is terribly run. This isn't the first time a "weather event" has plunged my package into the abyss. I understand there was a severe winter storm, but the roads have been clear for over a WEEK now, and my package (which is a week late) is "pending" with NO current delivery date. If you try calling about this, your phone calls will redirect you to an automated robot instead of a representative. And they definitely did that on purpose because they were probably getting frustrated of a surge in callers! But you know what? We're frustrated! We want our packages! The roads are clear! I watched a FedEx employee chuck packages thirty feet from the back end of one of their trucks here and watched the packages careen off shelves and walls inside the truck. I assure you the purple promise is a complete lie. Packages arrive crushed 80% of the time and in the last six months 100% of my packages are over a week late and still in transit. Ship UPS if you want your package to arrive on time in one piece, not get lost and be treated with respect. The FedEx employees here are mouthy, rude, full of attitude and treat you poorly. I have shipped many many packages in the last few months through FedEx and every time a package gets to troutdale the package will then go pending and either stays at the ship center from 5-21 days and then ships to me or it gets lost. I have had 4 packages lost at this ship center and they were all furniture or appliances which are bigger packages and I'm sick of bad customer service agents who are rude and a very very unreliable shipping service that never gets my packages anywhere near on time or even ever gets my packages to me at all. T615538 or T61558 oregon license plate, goes 30mph in a 10mph road & doesn't stop to check traffic or if there are any kids or animals in driveways/ parking areas, this is a kid friendly neighborhood & to speed that astronomically is beyond me, he's almost hit multiple cars by entering road ways without stopping & checking for traffic. Same issue as the rest here, expressing frustrations over (1) awful customer service, (2) lateness in arrival, (3) tracking information being completely unreliable. 1. FEDEX outsources their help lines to India. Every time I've called a person with an American name picks up and can barely understand my problem. For this situation in general, I've called 3 times and found them to repeat the same phrases ("you'll receive your package 100%", "we'll call you in 24 hours", "issue with this troutdale warehouse" etc etc). GET AMERICAN CALLTAKERS PLEASE. These people cannot understand the problem at hand and its a spit in the face of your customer base. 2. We ordered this package and shipped on the 11th of Oct. It was set to arrive on the 17th and have not received it still (date of this review). 3. We get notifications that say it's "on the vehicle for delivery" or "delivery not attempted" EVERY DAY. When you call the 1800 number, they just regurgitate what it says on the customer tracking screen. "Everything is on track!" My two packages are spending a leisurely vacation at the Troutdale Fedex and Shipment Spa. They arrived there on Saturday night, checked in, and apparently are enjoying themselves quite a bit. They were scheduled to leave Monday and move on to Bend, Oregon, but they're having such a good time that they've postponed their departure indefinitely and, at this point, their scheduled arrival day is Pending. I trust they will arrive refreshed and ready to take on all of their tasks when they get here, which I'm guessing will be sometime in July. read more

I have nothing positive to share about them. I have packages that can get from the East coast to Troutdale in less than 36 hours, but once they get to Troutdale, the average time for receiving the packages is roughly a week. As others mention, this place is a black hole of packages. Not sure what they are doing there but you should expect at least an extra 4 days waiting for your package if it goes through this hub. Expect to have to make some phone calls and open investigations to get your package at all. Every month my company places a large order which consists of about 6 heavy boxes, and they ship Fedex ground. As soon as tracking shows they have arrived in Troutdale, I know it will be at least another week before they make it to our small town in Oregon. Yes, we live in Oregon. Yes, Troutdale is in Oregon.
