Also my package has been in Kernersville, NC (about 90 mins away) since Friday and the status got updated to out for delivery everyday since Saturday (writing this on a Tuesday) FedEx truly sucks. I brought in 2 pre-paid packages to be returned and they both originally came in wrapping instead of boxes. So when I tried to repackage for the return, the wrapping was torn and the items didn't fit all the way in, the wrapping only partially wrapped the items. I hesitantly brought these into this FedEx location and the guy at the counter accepted them no questions asked and said he'd take care of it. My trip only took a couple minutes. Called customer service and they said it would be re-delivered the same day and the package and driver were a no show. This location cannot help you with anything. If your package is not 100% packed WITH label, this place is worthless. They cannot even scan fedex return codes or generate any kind of label. I do not understand the point of it. You will just stand in line and be sent away like half the other customers. read more

I had a package scheduled to be delivered to my house on Monday but saw it had arrived in my town Friday AM. I called their 800 # to see if I could pick it up and was told 'Yes" and I confirmed today (Friday). I was to receive an email but after 4.5 hours I decided to go to the shipping center to see if I could pick it up. The guy at the shipping center said that my package was there but that they could not access it (for whatever reason). I explained these were for T-shirts for an event on Saturday so Monday was no good. His response was that it should have been sent 1 day express. I said I'd pay the difference but that was not an option. So, I asked that they change it back to home delivery and he said he couldn't do that either. He said I had to call the 800 # and that meant it wouldn't get here until Tuesday (like that matters as it's already passed the date of the event). I did call and they said they'd change it. Bottom line: This FedEx shipping Center was less than useless. I was told I could pickup my package today by folks on their 800 # and clearly the shipping center staff are powerless to access my package even though they admitted it was in their shipping center. I cannot understand such a system that fails customers by design...pathetic Customer Service all the way around! read more

This FedEx only ships packages. They don't seem to offer any other services. They seem to be short staffed. I had to wait despite being the only costumer in the store. The employee that did help me was in and out from the back....so there wasn't always someone in front ready to help. However when he did help me...it was great. He was attentive and helped me find the right box. This location is definitely slower but I would use them again if I'm in the area. read more

Manager kept checking her phone while attempting to explain to me why I can't pick up my wife's Package, even though we have the same address, which is stated clearly on my drivers license. Complete waste of my time. If my wife is the person who needs to be present to pick up the package it needs to be stated clearly on the door slip. Even had the manager speak to my wife on the phone, and still wasn't allowed to leave with the package. P.s. This package was 1 of 2, the other package (of which contents were exactly the same ) was left on out doorstep without any need for adult signature. I had to pick up a package here. I went on a Saturday morning. They open at 10AM. I was there by about 10:45 AM. There was a gentleman leaving the establishment while I was walking in and when I entered, the place was empty. There was one employee in the front who helped me. He was quick and answered my question about why my package wasn't delivered to my leasing office for signature. He said it was because my package was international and required a signature from me. I'm not sure if this is the policy but that was his rationale. Usually when a package of mine requires a signature, it is dropped off at the leasing office and they sign for it. I had a great experience here yesterday. There wasn't a line and I was in and out quickly. The lady that helped me just took my information straight into the computer so I didn't have to write it down and then her have to try and read my terrible handwriting. I think this is the way to go. So much faster than filling out those papers for them to use. Next today letter was about $25 and I thought that was pretty reasonable. I'll definitely use this location again. read more

I'm frustrated with our Fed Ex driver in Bedford area. He lies and says that we signed for packages when we in fact have not. It happened again today when we got notified that a package had been delivered at 9:35 am and signed for by my husband. He never signed nor did he receive it. Two months ago The same thing happened with a $1200 delivery that the driver said I signed for and did not. I was freeking out and immediately called Fed Ex but with there exorbitantly detailed phone tree was never able to talk with live person. Finally later that day a person that lives down the street brought my long-awaited package which according to Fed Ex driver I had signed for. Does he mean to steal packages, save time on his delivery? Who knows, but he should be fired. read more

I was notified that the driver attempted to deliver my package. That was a complete lie! He never came, no note on my door, nothing! I called and finally got thru to some lady and she had him come back. My wife was headed out to drop my daughter off at work and she said she saw the FedEx driver flying down our street and he almost got her car. He pulled into the wrong parking lot! She called me and told me all this so I ran down to the other parking lot and he was gone already. I tried calling back but the call center keep putting me on hold. I never write reviews, but I really feel like people should know about this. My husband ordered me a gift, a gorgeous necklace from a great Canadian company, and it required a signature when delivered. The first issue is that our driver "attempted" delivery twice without knocking or ringing the doorbell. We were in the living room 10 feet away when it says he attempted delivery. So we call FedEx customer service several different times and received a different answer every time. So we requested to have our package rerouted to a facility where we could pick it up. We call several times to see when we could pick it up and are told several different things again, even being hung up on once. Then a representative tells me its available to be picked up contrary to what the last rep told me. My husband drives 30 minutes one way to the facility to pick it up, and he was met with several other angry customers in a line waiting to have their issues solved. Once he gets to the front the worker told him he doesn't have our package, he doesn't know where it is. So we call back again, very confused. My husband gets in touch with the supervisor of the store, who said his name was Jake. Jake said he has our package in his hands and promised to meet my husband who drove back to the store again. He promised to compensate him for his trouble and have a conversation with him and find out what has happened to make this delivery such a mess. My husband gets to the store again, it is the same person from earlier who told him the package was lost. He gives him the package, which is great, but when my husband asked to speak with "Jake" the manager, he says there is no one by that name who works there. Also, he said both managers are on lunch at that moment. So at this point we have been lied to, hung up on, and had so very much of our time wasted. If you have the option to not use FedEx, do it. If you don't have a choice, certainly don't expect any help at all from the people working at this facility. Hope this helps someone else. read more

I paid for two day shipping and my package did not yet arrive on the day it was supposed to. I checked the status of my shipment, and it said that the customer was unavailable which was complete bull. I never got a door slip or even saw a delivery truck go by my house. On the time of the supposed missed delivery both my husband and I were home with the back door open. This is one of the worst experiences I have ever had with FedEx, and I have been ordering on line for almost two decades. I have never had any issue with a package not being delivered. Customer service was helpful, and I hope that incompetent driver that didn't want to do his job is dealt with. I will never use this company again, and I won't recommend it to anyone else who needs to get their shipment on time, especially when extra is paid for it. read more

I feel so defeated right now. I sent a small package to Atlanta using the Express Saver option (generally 3 days). The package was shipped on 2/2/2021, with an estimated date to arrive on 2/5/2021. Today is 2/12/2021. I have talked with over 20 customer service reps, gone to the hub I sent it from, and called and spoke with someone at the fedex ground hub in Austell, GA, where the package supposed to be. I asked and asked why my package ended up at the fedex ground facility when I paid for federal express. No one seems to know the answer, not even the fedex ground location. They are telling me my package it's at their facility, but they just can't seem to locate it. But it's being scanned everyday. The tracking system online updates everyday. One day it said they attempted to deliver the package. How do you ATTEMPT to deliver a package, that is going to a residential address and doesn't require a signature? They are putting lies in their system. The issue I have is the lack of care fedex has in helping you retrieve something you paid and entrusted them to ship for you. And what's worse, is the ONLY way you can contact them is to call that one customer service number and get the same ole song and dance. There is no email or form to file a formal complaint. The most help I received is from Austell GA, which I had to retrieve their direct number on my own, because "customer service" was never able to get them on the phone, so they said. I got the number, called one time and got someone. They are still looking for my package, somewhere in their facility, but I will NEVER EVER use fedex services again. The competence or lack thereof of customer service is unbelievable. There is literally no respect for your property, so please do not trust them with it. Got to UPS. If I could give "0" as a star, I would. NEVER AGAIN. read more

My experience with them has been terrible...They deliver my package to the wrong house...and tell me sorry I don't have a valid claim because someone signed for it..Problem was it wasn't my door they delivered to...so here I am almost a week later without my package because someone cant read a HUGE sign that says 9400...when the package said 9410.....I will do everything in my power to not use them because this is unacceptable......and their customer services reps are not much help read more

Awful. While the folks on the phone were pleasant and kept apologizing, package worth $195.00 was simply "lost"! Called on a Thursday after package was supposed to be delivered... was told they would check with driver who is off on Friday - and get a call back on Monday. Called them on Monday - and that was their "holiday" ... so they would call me later in week. I contacted vendor, explained the problem and was told - ok we will just ship 2nd shipment. Never was called back by Fed Ex (hard to fake a call to a cell phone as they tried to do...no missed calls) and was told again this am after 2nd package was placed by mail box at busy road, not even on front porch - that I have to file complaint with vendor - not with Fed Ex. Wow. I was lucky vendor allowed me the new package... which also could have been lost but by luck of seeing quickly after drop off. read more

This is the worst FedEx site I have ever been to. If this were the entirety of my FedEx interactions I would never use FedEx. Every time I have shipments held for pickup here they will not give them out even a minute before 9am, every other place I use if they will give out the package as soon as they have it. I have been treated like the bad person and pushed in a loop hole when I trusted this company to express mail my valuables. Not only have I spoken with SEVERAL incompetent representatives, THEY ALL are rude and seem TOO BUSY TO SPEAK WITH ME AND HEAR MY QUESTIONS/CONCERNS. So, not only did I lose my valuables worth $236, I have not been given any concrete answers. I was also told that the most I would receive is $100. Oh, not to mention, they lied to me and said they would investigate the driver (they did no such thing)! The representative told me that they go solely off of what the driver describes in their account of the delivery...not sure when thieves admit to stealing packages and note that but hey, I may be asking for too much! In addition to all of this, I was told by the claims department that they could not give me any details about my case and that I have to wait 7 business days for answer. Oh, and the rep told me she was new, so she couldn't help me any further! I mean my experience almost seems like a made up comical story. Sadly, it's not and I am out of resources and my personal items. FEDEX IS HORRIBLE! NEVER.USE.THEM.EVER! This particular location did NOTHING to help assist in the claims process and the employee got the biggest attitude ever when I asked about what my options would be! After visiting a Fedex packaging location in Cary that said they couldn't help me with packing, I visited the Atlantic Ave Fedex location not realizing they were a shipping center only. While the customer representative, Misty, could have told me to return when my deliverable was packed (like the Cary store did), instead she went beyond her normal duties and helped me in procuring the right packaging, then assisted me in packing the deliverable. She did all of it with a very positive and determined attitude that left me with a very positive customer experience. I'll do all my shipping from this location in the future. read more
