2day delivery service paid for. After 8 days package still not delivered. For 4 consecutive days in the early morning the FedEx status as on the FedEx vehicle for delivery. Only to be updated each afternoon as back at the FedEx facility in Pacheco. FedEx delivery is a sham. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's impossible to talk with anyone it the FedEx ship center in Pacheco.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It must be managed by a bunch of incompetents. UPDATE: [[HIGHLIGHT]]After multiple calls and complaints my package was delivered.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I talked with the delivery driver who was very nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] He explained that there is a glitch in the FedEx system that doesn't recognize my specific location. The package is loaded onto a vehicle daily but the glitch doesn't show the driver the location to deliver it. He ends up with a surplus package at the end of his delivery. He takes it back to the Pacheco ship center. My package had five 500-0 code stickers on it that indicated what the driver explained. This continued for six days until the driver took the initiative to deliver it to the ADDRESS on the package, not relying on a location on their delivery map. It appears that this glitch/problem has existed for a long time with no attempted resolution. I hope my next deliveries are not via FedEx! read more

I shipped a package to a friend in Belize. The box weight about 13lbs. I was shocked at the price. I didn't realize that prices had gone up that much in the past few years. Initially, after learning how much it costs, I said no. But my friend in Belize said that to ship there is typically expensive. So I went back and told the customer service person that I changed my mind and decided to send it after all. Terrible service, I need my $6k medication and the delivery driver never walks up to my house and just leaves a blank note at my entrance. I am disabled and this inconveniences me as my medication goes 24+ hours without being in a refrigerator and I must find transportation to take me to the fedex to pick it up myself. Really inconvenient especially since you need to reach out to customer service to even pick it up. I check my cameras as well, no actual delivery attempted. read more

Was supposed to get my package Friday 10/27/2023. Says it got delayed. Tried again Monday 10/30/2023. Said delayed again. Look it up online and they said they "tried" to deliver. I was home all days both days. Never got a knock on the door, a call, an email, text, nothing. Lazy driver just didn't want to do their job. Called customer service and asked him to just hold the package at the Pacheco facility. Said he couldn't do that because it's scheduled for another deliver attempt. I told him I didn't want it delivered. He said it wouldn't be available for me to pick up because the van doesn't get back until 6pm. I said that's fine I'll go tomorrow and pick it up. He said that's not possible because they will try to deliver it again.....like what? If it's already at the facility, just hold it there and I'll pick it up! The CS agent said he would email me to get the package held and never did. All I got was a text for a virtual assistant. Absolute garbage server on a package I needed last week. So now having it sent to a different location to hopefully get it within the next couple days. Also their number doesn't go to the physical location just the general FedEx website so good luck trying to get in contact with the actual shipping center. read more

The store is fine. Delivery to commercial is so-so, despite being only a few miles away. My problem is delivery to a residence. FedEx has delivered to my home before and it's after the holidays so I elected to have this package sent to my home instead of my place of work. The package was for Overnight shipping and to arrive 8:40am to 11:10am. My husband waited for the package but it did not arrive and he had to leave for work. Then the status was changed at 10:55am to "before 8pm" (wo attempt). 8pm and nothing. Apparently at 5pm the status changed to "before 8pm... Of the next day". This is no longer an Overnight shipment. With my new job I come here very often. I've gotten to know the regular employees and all are super helpful. I ordered a new phone recently and was notified of its shipping. Tracking indicated that it was at this facility. So I walked over to the office and asked if rather than sending it for delivery could I just get it now since I'm right here. The employee that helped me said she would go find it and call me when she did. About an hour later I got a phone call that she had it. They were so helpful!! It was so easy!! No need to worry about delivery times and if they would leave it on my front porch where it could be stolen. I just asked if they had it and they did. Customer service from this branch is excellent. My package was supposed to arrive January 31st. I ordered it a month ago. Friday January 28th it says my package arrived at this facility at 6am. Today is Monday January 31st and my package says it will be delivered tomorrow.. Why is it just chilling at their hub? Why are they not delivering it today? When I asked if I could pick it up their response was "no sorry, the shipper has released it for delivery so we can't hold it at the facility"... But it's just sitting at their facility???? FedEx Ship Center - Why is the package not due for delivery!?!? - Shipping Centers Near Me - Pacheco, California

Hmmm...where to start with this latest delivery? So, I received notice that the package was undeliverable due to an incomplete address. I called their 800 number only to discover the driver lied about attempting the delivery. I also had them confirm my address. I was told that even though I paid for an express one day delivery, that it wouldn't be delivered until 4 days later on a Monday. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I had to drive 20 miles to this facility because the customer service did not have a phone number for this facility.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Since my item contained perishables, I had to wait 1.5 hours there until the delivery driver returned to retrieve my package. The cashier rep saw the package and also confirmed my address. I asked her why was it marked as undeliverable so she went to the back to speak with the driver. The driver made a mistake. They only serviced Antioch. He accidentally grabbed my package assuming it was part of his area. Instead of admitting to his error, he lied about attempting a delivery and marked it undeliverable due to insufficient address. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I asked if I could register a complaint, the cashier said I would have to call their 800 number, because I wouldn't be able to file a complaint there. The reviews here are true. This is not in regards to the customer service center but the actual shipping center. As soon as your package gets to Pacheco it stops. Something was sent to me from LA to Nor Cal and in about a day it reached Pacheco. I've now been waiting 5 days for it to leave Pacheco and go the extra 10 miles to my house. Grossly understaffed and lacking the infrastructure to handle the volume that is being thrown at it. If your package arrives here you will be receiving at the very end of or after the paid for delivery time. Never before like you do with the other carriers(e.g. you order ups ground and it arrives in a couple days since it is in the same state, even though you paid for ground). FedEx screwed up by going on its own a couple years before the pandemic. If they stuck with working with USPS they would not be getting these complaints. read more

I have had a lot of difficulty with FedEx deliveries to my Downtown Napa, CA, but coming from the Pacheco center is the worst. According to the FedEx website, they are waiving signature requirements due to Covid in most cases. My payroll company overnighted payroll checks to be delivered last Friday, which did NOT require a signature. They were not delivered even though we were open - driver left tag on door. I called 800 number. They cannot forward my call to Pacheco or have a manger there call me back. I could not even verify they had it back there should I want to drive an hour to get them. On Monday, I confronted the driver who said she knocks quickly on the door of businesses (I was there, it was two rapid "hen pecks") and if the door is not immediately opened, she take the item back to Pacheco. Worst Fed Ex location for delivery in the U.S. They always have an excuse for late shipping. You can ship a package anywhere else in the U.S. and no problem however, if it goes through Pacheco then forget it. They just don't care. They are bringing the good name of FedEx down. Driver said he attempted to deliver signature required package. I was waiting with the door open and it never happened. No knock or doorbell. No door tag left. Tracking info said it would be available for pick up at the location after specified time. Went and it wasn't available. Went back and they said they couldn't find it but I could come back a 3rd time the next day. Package was medication so I waited. 2 stars for the manager that found the package. Another package. My tracking said it would be delivered the 17th. I then receive a text on the 16th saying it was out for delivery. I did not plan to have anyone home to sign. I received a door tag this time that said it was redirected and could be picked up after 6. Tracking info shows it was returned to this facility. Went to this facility to pick up and they say they try 3 days in a row. The did not try again and claim my package isn't there but it shows scanned at 12:56. This place is a joke. read more

Fex ex said my package would be delivered before 10:30 a.m. I waited until 12:00 noon and no driver. I went to lunch and returned. Guess what? There is a note on my door saying they will redeliver. It's happened to most of us. We remotely order an item and soon the FedEx (or UPS) delivery comes and nobody is home. And of course a signature is required. The worst thing that has ever happened was several years ago when I ordered something from Canada and soon after left town for a few weeks. FedEx sent it back to the Great White North and it literally took weeks to get it out of brokerage at the Border. This is where I go from my Pleasant Hill Home and when I don't want the same thing to happen again. The after work hours are convenient and the folks here are helpful in efficiently getting me in and out. FedEx wouldn't leave a package on our doorstep. We live in a complex and although everything, except for produce, seems to be left alone, I understand their policy. Luckily, they are open until 7:15 pm during the week so I could convince my honey to drive me over after work to pick up my package on our way to dinner. This location is easy to find, just off Contra Costa Blvd, and there is plenty of parking. I wonder if I was helped by the same person who helped Ivy R because this woman was wonderful. She was way nicer than necessary, got my package quickly and seemed really eager to make my experience a good one. She either really, really likes working there and helping people or she is a really, really good actress. I was in and out in less than five minutes. Did I mention they are open from 8:00 am until 7:15 pm during the week?! They are also open on Saturdays from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. Not open on Sundays. read more

This local Fed Ex distribution center in 2019 failed to leave notice of delivery didn't bother to text my phone as I have had an account since 2018. Twice this local office distribution unable to read ! Second phone taken another claim for incorrect delivery again! Hiring uneducated people Costs lives! Local store by Walmart in Martinez unable to process a label for next day delivery preventing package day late totally wasted over $35 they cost me! The hand off to Concord main post office caused total loss of another phone now unable to have phone for disabled senior to call 911 ! From an x employee perspective. They hire part time delivery drivers. But expect them to work 10 to 14 hour days!! Most quit after 2 days. I lasted 3 months. I call it a bait and switch. I Have contacted Fed EX several times with no success. You call the 1-800 number wait for 20 minutes and they say they can't help. I have the FedEx app and have posted their regarding my concern. My delivery person repeatedly leaves my packages in full view of anyone and everyone walking or driving by my house. There are 5 steps that lead down to my front door. If he can't make that effort the least he can do is place my packages out of sight. We have gardeners, workers and neighbors walking our streets all the time. Today I went out to find my package, valued at over $130 sitting in plain view ripe for theft. I find the people that work at this location to be very helpful but the driver that has my route should at least have some common sense not to leave the packages unsecured.
