Just straight up horrible. Whoever trains the workers on all levels should be fired. At this rate with the lack of service they provide FedEx should be nonexistent. You go on the app and give shipping instructions which is nonsensical because they don't follow it. You call customer service and they give you a solution but don't follow through. I was expecting a delivery yesterday and it never came. I received a text at 8:30pm confirming delivery and tracking info shows it was delivered at 11:53am. Supposedly driver left package at the front door. I never got a knock or the door or anyone buzzing my apt # for delivery. I tracked this package up until 6:45pm and it was still out for delivery so how was it delivered that morning? I called Fedex and they told me to call USPS but USPS can't find any information on the tracking number issued. If FedEx couldn't make contact with me then make another attempt. The only reason they get one star is because I can't give ZERO. For two days in a row I have been sitting two feet from my door waiting for my package. Both times I get an email an hour after they claim to have attempted delivery. There is no door tag, no phone call, NO attempt to deliver was made. The driver is flat out lying. The email says the business was closed. This is not a business, it's a residence. Complete and total incompetence. I have had 12 other packages delivered this week alone with no problems from FedEx air and also UPS, DHL etc. Nobody has a problem besides FedEx Ground. Today my packages came from this location instead of the Inglewood location...thank god my apartment is next to the security gate and I heard the delivery guy because I was waiting on him ...had I not opened my door when I did ...he would've given my delivery to my teenage neighbor...I heard the driver ask my neighbor are you apartment (insert number here)...teenage boy said yes ...he was lying though...right when I stepped out my door I said to the fed Ex guy...no I'm the recipient...he was getting ready to hand my stuff to a teenager...drivers should ask the person their name and apartment Number...not tell them the apartment number on the package..of course they'll say it's for them if you tell them the number....I know they're busy...but you shouldn't be given anybody's delivery to whoever opens the security door...and he would've marked my delivery as being delivered to me when in fact my teenage neighbor would've had it and there would've been NO witness...and I wouldn't lost my money because the place I ordered from would've have believed that I didn't get it...so tell your drivers don't give someone's packages to whoever opens the gate...ask them their name and apartment number and then look and see if it matches the delivery...too many dishonest people out here and especially in my building were they stay stealing others deliveries.... read more

They do park & sit while making no attempt to deliver then create a false delivery attempt logs. The 800 # for customer service is useless & in another country, of course. The local # invites you to leave your name, #, and tracking # for a call back. Of course no one ever calls. I paid for delivery to my door. FedEx refuses to deliver because their drivers cannot figure out how to deliver to my apartment complex. The complex is very simple and no other delivery/shipping company has had issues. The address provided to FedEx is correct and it is the address they automated from Google, yet they deem it an error. Customer service did nothing for me. I have to pick up the package in a city I do not live in, while there are multiple pick up facilities on a street near me. I've unfortunately dealt with them several times, and they are consistently the worst delivery/shipping service around. Their drivers leave a tag in your mail box (how does FedEx have access to my locked mail box?) indicating they've made three attempts to deliver an item, yet they don't leave a notice until the third visit. Incompetent staff work here. My packages were suppose to get delivered Thursday of last week but due to the pandemic and protest I expected delays. However it's been nearly a week and I still haven't received my packages. Since Friday the status of the package keeps saying out for delivery then switches to pending delivery date and this has gone on all week. I called their stupid 1800 number just to waste 40 minutes of my time and the issue hasn't been resolved. I called 7x's and still haven't got my packages. Nobody from their facility has contacted me. I called to report their station and haven't heard back from them. I'm so tired of dealing with them that I redirected them to hold them at a facility for me to pick up instead. Truly the worst experience ever. I'm glad I reported them to the business bureau this place deserves to close down. This Fed-Ex location (1725 Charles Willard St, Carson, CA) is very stupid. And Looking at the reviews, I see that I am not about to say anything different than what everybody else who gave it a 1 star rating is saying. So I will TRY to be brief. I do ALOT of online business. And when I see that the person who I am doing business with has chosen FedEX as their delivery method, I prepare myself for the battle. Every time the delivery person for this particular route is sent to deliver a package, they NEVER call to be buzzed in to complete the delivery process. The driver just sticks the Door tag on the call box outside of the unit and drive off. EVERYTIME! I've left specific instructions which include the code used to be buzzed in, and just in case they get that wrong, my mobile phone number to call...The driver dismisses the instructions every time. I am now on my 3rd notice. So now I have to call the actual location, talk to the "rote employee" who takes all my info down and promises me that "somebody" will call me back and that another attempt will be made. Problem is, I never know who the "somebody" is, and most of the time, the somebody never calls back. Then I have to call FED EX customer service "ADVOCATE line" and talk to the rote customer service rep there who transfers me to another rote customer service person who takes down my info again who sends an email to the stupid office manager to try and make sense of it all...This has happened multiple times, and I am sick of it. To make a longer story short, the location manager nor FedEX ever has justification for the delivery driver habitually failing to complete the job. They just do a bunch of apologizing with promises that the error will never happen again. And now I'm starting to feel like TINA TURNER.. My question is, with this many 1 star ratings (with the exception of the first one who gave a 5 star rating who is probably the employee who giving us all the problems), WHY IS FED EX STILL PROCESSING PACKAGES OR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS JOKE OF A FACILITY? It's not good business because now, I refuse to use FED-Ex services of any kind because of the service I been given, and I do online business which require mailing deliveris all the time. If I can only give this place and FedEx driver a -10000, Fedex operation is a complete joke. Had a package that was supposed to be delivery on Friday. Their worthless driver made no attempt to deliver it and instead stated due to security issue there was a delivery exception. Keep in mind, this is not the first time something like this happened. Their driver is simply too lazy to make the delivery. I do not have the same issue with UPS or DHL. Anyway, called their customer service and arranged for pick up at Carson facility and this is where the nightmare gets worse. Came here, went through airport style security and dealt with a woman that had zero customer service skills, made me wait half an hour without saying a thing and then told me the package is not here and it's on a truck that's out on maintenance. She then asked me if I talked to anyone here to arrange for pick up. After I told her I spoke with customer service and someone in Carson facility, she then told me the package is in a truck that's inaccessible at the moment. Wtf? Your joke of an operation told me to come pick up a pacakge that cannot be pick up? You have been warned, these people's incompetence knows no bounds. The quality of the entire FedEx organization continues to decline. They couldn't find a cloud in a rain storm. They have crushed three of the same packages (sent three times) with Fragile stickers on it. This week another disappeared; stolen. Always have an excuse or a delay without exception. Just like 98% of the other reviews about this location my review is negative. As you can see this is an unclaimed business on yelp. Who would want to claim a business with such negative reviews? I understand why it's unclaimed. My experience with this location and Fedex in general is that customer support is of little assistance and packages are routinely not delivered, lost are flat out stolen . I have been waiting on multiple packages from the same shipper that have been sitting at their warehouse for 5 days. No one can give me date that my items will be delivered and blame the Covid crisis for their failures. During this time I have also had items shipped to me via UPS and USPS and all have been delivered in a reasonable amount of time or even sooner than expected. This has been an ongoing problem for Fedex and this location long before the crisis ever existed.They are now using the crisis as a scapegoat. Endless calls to the 800# and messages through social media platforms and I have yet to contact anyone who even seems to care. The response I get is "we are sorry for the delay" like what? Sorry? You have had my packages on the vehicle for several days but never even attempt to deliver. Obviously you are out there delivering packages I would like to receive my packages just like everyone else. I have shown patience and at this point I have ran out of patience. Worst FedEx I have dealt with! I was told they tried to deliver my items two separate times but no one was home (Left my front door open because I was expecting delivery and someone stayed by the door the whole day)- that happened on a Thursday AND Friday. I requested to hold my package so I can pick up on Tuesday but when I arrived (@ 8:40am, they open at 9:00am) the "customer parking lot" was already filled up and could not park there, there was NO street parking available (located next to many businesses and signs were all over that restricted street parking). I waited for one hour, hoping a parking space would become available but I was told that due to the Holidays a lot of new drivers are now using up the parking spaces so I can try to go back some other time but I "might run into the same issue for the rest of the Holiday season" I called them later that day to see if they can ship to my house again, I explained everything that happened, but I was told that since they already attempted to deliver and "no one was home" they can't try again and I should call the sender and tell them to "SHIP ANOTHER PACKAGE" I had to call the main FedEx customer care number and I got a call back late that night and after I spoke with them I had my package delivered the next day in the morning. FedX Smartpost is the worst service that I have ever experienced. My order was shipped on 2-27-2018 from Simi Valley, Ca and was expected to be delivered in Downey, Ca on Mar.5, 2018. Package never arrive and I contacted FedX and they said it was still in transit in their Carson, Ca facility on Feb. 28, 2018 and I had wanted to know where my package was and I required this information on the March 10, 2018. All they would say that it is still in transit and there was no data available on delivery date. If I had to order any item from any company, I will surely ask what they use as delivery service. If they mention FedX Smartpost, I would refuse to order from that company and by elsewhere. read more

One word: terrible. I changed my work schedule to be home to sign for a package that the sender required. I was literally sitting at the front door waiting for a knock or doorbell when I received a text saying that an attempted delivery was made but no one was available. Unless I'm completely deaf, (which I know is not the case because I work in a position of public trust and am REQUIRED to take an annual physical, where hearing is tested) I didn't hear a knock or the doorbell and I was sitting right there. I called the general customer service number and explained my situation. The agent was extremely apologetic and helpful, but I'm still waiting on my package. We came to pick up 6 pieces we shipped from NC after they called is already that they are holding them. The way in for visitors is like a high security prison ID , name tag , metal detector , wanding, but the people were at least nice and joking. We were allowed to drive the car in they tracked our stuff drove it for us next to our car and helped loading it. All together good experience! read more

I was extremely frustrated with the way that I was "dismissed" in such a casual way at their Carson, CA location. I was informed that I was supposed to pick up my package that was sent to a location that was looted during the riots, but the next day, when I showed up to pick up my package at the Carson office AS INSTRUCTED, I was told that there was "no record of the conversation ever taking place", and that a delivery driver has my package on his truck after attempting to make a FOURTH delivery at my HOME! Why would you try to deliver it to my home when I SPECIFICALLY said that I would NOT make it home in time because I WORK, and my instructions (per their website) were to HOLD the package at the Carson location! So, WHY would a DRIVER have it?!?! And why would they claim that he/she made 4 attempts to deliver it?!?! Due to my regular 9 - 5 hours, I am not available to receive delivery in-person and a Door-Tag was left so I called to make arrangements. Informed that alternate pick-up arrangement NOT AVAILABLE since this is a SMART POST product. CSR was extremely RUDE and condescending about people with a 9 - 5 job. WE had a shipment coming that needed an adult signature. On the first 2 attempts, there was someone home. We never heard a knock on the door. The doorbell never rang and the dog never barked. So, the driver did not try very hard to see if we were home. I lodged a complaint and was assured the package would come today. Another day of sitting at home waiting for a package. We were sitting at out dining room table, in full view of the front door. We saw the Fed Ex truck pull in front of our house. The driver never got out of his truck, but he logged on his computer third attempt was made. After complaining to the customer service department, they told me that I have to drive the 8.5 miles to pick up the package myself. Installed the app just to make this review. I don't have a problem with their delivery services...when they ACTUALLY DELIVER. What my problem is that when I track my package online, they say it's delivered but it's not at my door or mailbox! I would like to blame the seller of the item I ordered or even the fact that it might have been stolen or put at the wrong address but this has happened a few times before already! Sometimes I usually EVENTUALLY get it but like a few days to a week later. Once, I checked the tracking, it said "delivered at 4:30pm today" and it was 4:45pm the same day. Another questioned me about my real address, tried to recorrect it to the wrong one again, then he said "I'll look into it". I came home early from work. The 2d attempt was at 11 am again!
