I just used this service for the first time & it was great! I needed an item picked up from one side of Long Beach & dropped off at the other & I was in another state. I texted the number with the 2 addresses & that I needed it done same day and I received a super reasonable quote back in 8 minutes. I called to pay over the phone with a credit card and the job was done just over an hour later. My favorite part was I got a text when the item was picked up and another when it was dropped off. I use couriers all the time for work. I live on the Westside and everything I need is on the Eastside or in The Valley, which, as you know is 281 miles away. She arrived in 30 and somehow had my package there just past 1. I don't know how she did it, but was professional, quick, a woman of her word, and her van is adorable too. (I had a courier show up in a hoopty once, so that's big with me.) She texted me upon arrival, solidified details, and gave me full confirmation after delivery and emailed me a receipt. She really is quite affordable, even with my emergency, last minute delivery. No crazy charges, no hidden fees, no weird "you pay me $3/minute of traffic" bull. This delivery service is awesome. I can't believe no one thought of this before in the Belmont Shore area. I can't count the number of times I have to go out and grab something to eat or was cooking/entertaining and need something and I just made due because I didn't want to lose my parking space and/or leave my guests. They will deliver Lucille's, Coffee cup, Lola's. It's friggin amazing! And pretty affordable. This week I am gonna have them go to Trader Joe's for me. Normally the only time I can get there is on the weekend and it's like the floor of the New York Stock Exchange. Totally worth the time and gas to pay Speedy G!!! Plus they are super friendly and accomodating. They will friggin call me from the place if they have questions! I had a last minute delivery I needed made from a bakery to a residence. I live in Nor Cal, had no way of having this done in Long Beach. I found Speedy G online. Got ahold of someone immediately (late on a Sat afternoon!) Carmen was friendly, professional and prompt. She picked up the bakery goods early on Sunday morning and even wrote a note I asked her to write to the recipient.
