When I spoke with him around 10am that day he stated he would be onsite to speak with me about my complaints. The customer service provides inaccurate information, there's always some issue with someone or some service not working. I was told my mattress delivery was delayed due to a scanning issue then told it was damaged then told there was no damage and it would be delivered the next day. Now they say 3 additional days. The driver delivered my Hispanic neighbor's packages to a table next to their porch. The driver saw me standing in my doorway and threw my package in the grass, got back in his truck and drove away. He treated me and my package like trash. Incompetent? Maybe. Prejudice? For sure. Not sure if Fed ex reads their reviews. If they do here's what I have to say. Note most Fed Ex distribution centers are very good at what they do. However, this Carson station is very bad at what they do. Firstly the distribution manager on this website is terrible. The driver did not park on the street as requested. Drivers want to come through the residence gate. No access allowed. Hence PARK ON THE STREET. Come through the pedestrian gate no code needed. Walk to the lobby. Access code provided. This package stayed on the truck 12hours returned to the station no exception written. On truck the next morning at 5am " attempted delivery" driver returned with an exception( could not get through gate!!!! ) I am pissed. Called the station. A young man tried to help. He left a message for the manager. I called & spoke to another lady" oh the driver won't come back today" file a complaint or report. I said that won't get my packages to me! She hung up on me. Put a survey robot voice on. By now I'm livid!!! Needless to say I finally got the deliveries yesterday. Solution here? Explain to drivers to take a bit more time to read delivery instructions. There is no genuine apology, no meaningful resolution. Imagine if this were a time-sensitive delivery like vital medication. FedEx's cavalier attitude toward misdelivery is alarming and unacceptable. Hardest to get package in my life. I had to go pick it up after 5 failed deliveries! FedEx store couldn't help me and said I had to call. It took 3 phone calls to customer service times to be able to find out which depot had my package. Customer service couldn't do a reroute to a FedEx store or my work because "the system wasn't letting them" They said the sender (my brother had to do the reroute) He called them and they still couldn't do the reroute!finally after 14 days of delays I was able to pick my package up on Sunday morning. The guy at the depo was cool though. He found my 2 packages and drove them out to my truck. It's a large warehouse in Carson. 5 missed deliveries at my house, 4 door tags on top of each other. I am having the same exact bad experience as others have posted. The Carson facility has to add my package for over a week and somehow seem unable to deliver it. It doesn't even say out for delivery anymore. My address is easy. It's on a major street. It's plain to see I've given them access via the kiosk which is 24 hour. It's hooked to my cell phone. I can give them access at any time. I have also been trying to contact them so I can just simply pick it up myself. No can't call them! It has ruined my Christmas. All my gifts are in those boxes. I have missed the Office party HOA party. And now I guess they expect me to deliver those hundred gifts in the boxes and just a matter of a day or two if I get it before Christmas. This is absolutely the worst service. I'm going to write a Christmas letter to all document the experience and that's gonna be their Christmas gift. There are no humans to deal with when there is an issue and this CEO has everything handled by bots and prompts. A time consuming mess if anything goes wrong. The delivery address where my packages were being delivered needed to be updated because the business had moved. Days and days and hours and hours of FEDEX customer "service" unable to deal with this and phone transfers that always ended in disconnected lines. FedEx has the worst shipping service. First it starts out with a shipping delay. Second they delivered a package to the wrong address. They called the cops on me just because a delivery driver made mistake (misdelivery) and their boss is blaming on the customers (me) instead. It took a few days to locate a missing package and it turns out the next door neighbor must have possession of the package. They do not accept spectrum equipment drop offs. You would have to contact a Spectrum CSA to get an RMA and a shipping label sent to you for packing. read more

It's pretty much jumping through hoops to get to this point. If you get a parcel where the sender does not allow you to re-route your package for pick-up at a Fed Ex location, you have to wait for 3 delivery attempts, then the parcel ends up here and you have to come here, then find parking in their private lot, go inside, get a pass to then drive to a secure access area and then walk in and deal with getting your parcel. The staff who works here are not like postal workers who are quirky at times, these folks are professional and get the job done right, as fast as they can. The other local (to the South Bay area) Fed Ex location is on Prarie,so make sure you know which one your parcel is at that they want you to go to if you're picking up a delivery. read more

I was supposed to get my package on Tuesday the 10th of May 2022. Package was originally at the Los Angeles location. They sent it all the way to Bloomington Ca. 60 miles away and moved the delivery date to Wednesday the 11th. After doing some research they sent it back to Carson Ca. Which is closer to my home than the L.A. location. They won't answer the phone. Then moved the delivery date again to Thursday the 12th. I'm totally irritated at this point. I just got off the phone with Catalina who told me that FedEx drivers do not need to ring the door bell nor knock on the door when making a deliver. I asked if this was guidelines and she responded yes, I asked how will a house hold know that a shipment is being delivered and her response was someone needs to wait out side. Now can someone please tell me in this day of age who will actually wait outside their door for a package all day? Makes no sense and then she tells me I am right yet would get a driver to go back and redeliver because it's not in their guidelines. The Fedex drivers didn't make delivery attempts, so I will probably have to drive to Carson and get the package. The shippers go with Fedex because of their lower shipping rates, but they don't realize that the poor Fedex service is driving customers to other vendors. Packages have been routed to incorrect destinations, weeklong delays for unexplained reasons, information being provided without any follow through or supported actions, personal front desk negative and rude disposition at the beginning and during calls with Dee at the Carson Hub of Los Angeles , and unwillingness to genuinely help resolve matters has been a consistent experience when dealing with Fed Ex as a shipping service and company. I am to the point where I am willing to pay to make sure that a shipper does not ship with Fed Ex; anything that I intend to send or receive, personally or business related. Reputation is the number one thing that determines business failure or success, and unfortunately from mine and other's experiences Fed Ex has disappointed too many times. The company is too big and has been around for too long to be having such a low level of service, and management of service. It's always a 50/50 whether I will get my package if it's being delivered through this FedEx. They will mark the package as an exception like they tried to deliver it when they didn't. I know they don't try half the time because my building has cameras and intercom and they don't even pass by on the days when they say they tried to deliver my packages. Today I actually tried to pick up a package instead of waiting so I pulled up to the area where it visibly said curbside pickup and had a number to call. I called and waited when a man approached my window and asked if I was Norma. I said I was and he said you can come get your package on this side. I got out of my car to follow him and he said oh you can bring your car. I said it's fine I can walk and we continued walking. The men in black worm that was standing there with my package immediately seemed to be beyond offended that I dared walk up to him for my package instead of bringing my car. I said he didn't say it was mandatory so I just followed him THIS IS MY FIRST TIME HERE SIR. "I" failed to use the self serve copier properly, just couldn't get it right. I needed assistance and Manager Rocio assisted me in using my machine and had to assist me in completing my task. I had to copy medical logs, my mother recently had a stroke and it seems that I couldn't get it together. Thank God for Rocio stepping in and helping me, not knowing the gravity of these charts I had to copy and the emotional stress that I was going through. She assisted me with a smile so friendly and professional that made me calm down. When I arrived, I had watched her busy bouncing around the store assisting others as well as handling business with other employees behind the counter. I didn't want to bother her at first so I asked another employee for help and he said let me ask my manager for what I wanted done. Rocio then stepped in to help (that's how I knew she was a manager) from the other associate. She knew what and how I wanted it and re-did the job for me. I frequent this location often because I normally have large jobs to print for the City of Carson and School District (LAUSD) both that I'm affiliated with. And I live in the neighborhood.
