As a costumer, we are schedule for today, to pick up our 2 lbc box, (extra large) no one call or show up, So I call 5 times, the time schedule no body show up so I call again, because they said pick up time 9am-1pm, then I call again change to 10am-2pm,but no body show up or call,so I called again, they came after 6hrs so it's like 3:36pm, so upset and dissapointed with you lbc,so i nver recommended lbc, scheduled too long, waited for too long and they wasted your time ugghh.. rather to have atlas or cargo nxt time. I don't recommend this branch. 2 old lady's are always saying offensive words to customers every time they check the box before seal it. Good example : I have a spam slicer and Christmas shirts for my family in Manila inside my LBC box. Old lady replied that maybe my family in Manila don't know how to slice the spam. And they laughed!!! She even commented that all of my items inside my box are all for Christmas. Her side comment .." TULOY PABA ANG PASKO?" I think thats not her business to comment or react. They're job is to check if everything are valid to ship. That's why there's a declaration form. While the other old lady was busy selling face mask for her personal extra income instead of making focusing to her customers that are all waiting outside. I suggest that they should be replaced or transferred to another branch. Too obvious that they're both sivk and tired of their job. And also for safety because of COVID . Sometimes there were 3 people inside the store. read more

Paid Fee for service for money remittance and your family member has to reserve ahead of time to get the money. Apparently it's a first come first serve basis when family members pick up the money. If youre unlucky, then you have an option of inconveniencing yourself to come back another time or day, or go to another branch which is affiliated with them ( Palawan). read more

Worst LBC branch. Those two old ladies in the cashier are very rude to the customers. Very disrespectful what ever your age, old or younger those old ladies are very rude. I was apprehensive in coming to this location based on all the 1-star reviews but I'm glad I didn't listen to them because I have to say the customer service I experienced today was astounding. I've gone to 2 other shipping companies and was quoted exorbitant shipping fees to the Philippines (approximately $700/box) and a kind gentleman suggested I check with LBC. When I initially brought in my two large boxes, the sweet lady at the counter directed me to the weigh station. She warned me that shipping two large boxes would incur high shipping fees but the price she quoted me was substantially lower than the others. I was totally prepared to pay the hundreds of dollars but she insisted that I move them into a smaller box which would result in a lower shipping charge. The guy behind the counter came around and literally packed all my items into a new box, taping up all the glass items to minimize the possibility of breakage, and taped up the box. After all was said and done, I ended up only paying a little over $200. I don't even get that kind of service from FedEx and I love them! read more

This place is way out of my way because I live in koreatown and they have one in ktown but I liked this place because the guy who helped me was really nice and very helpful. I sent some stuff For my filipina wife and she got it in about 1 week time. In ktown the lady was kind of rushing me. I didn't like that at all. I have been sending boxes regularly to the Philippines. It so happen that my favorite cargo company was not available on the dates that I wamted. So I tried LBC for THE FIRST TIME. They booked my pick up date, I called in the morning to confirm. It was so close to the time range that they gave, so I called again. AND AGAIN! Both time I was told that they will get in touch and to anticipate a call from the driver. NO COURTESY CALL, NO APOLOGIES, NO EXPLANATION! Worst???? NOBODY PICKED UP MY BOXES!!!! We have nothing but good experience here. We have been to several LBC Express because of our business so trust me folks when I say that this is the best of them. I have read lots of negative feedbacks from customers who were most of them just doesn't have anything better to do but to complain as most of these were petty or were just plain silly. I have a been a regular customer for a while now so I have seen some customer that were just stupid to say the least. Like this guy that he even admitted on his review that he was sending 2 bags of the same brand, which of course it was not allowed. So to get even he wrote a nasty and untrue review to complain about his experience. Just abide by their rules and everything will be ok and don't write untrue review just because you didn't get what you want. You even quoted us "online sellers" who were shipping several items but little did you know that they were being sent to several addresses and not to a same receiver so we are not violating any rules. We abide by they rules because it's important for us not to lose their trust. And there's no such "bff" thingy that were going there liked you have commented. This branch of LBC needs to train their clerks, good customer service skills. I stopped by to drop off 2 "balikbayan" boxes for relatives in the Philippines and it was at 4:00 p.m. on a Saturday. The moment she started to help me, she said "next time please make it earlier than 4:00 p.m. because of our cut-off time." I said "your website said that you close at 5:00 p.m." She said "yes, but our cut off time is 4:00 p.m." I said back, "I'm here now at 4:00 p.m., what's the issue?" She kept on muttering that I should be earlier because she has to prepare the paper work, etc. I was an hour away from their closing time. I can't imagine her taking 1 hour to prepare the packing slip or bill of lading. This woman is so rude and irrational. Their website did not say anything about their cut off time of 4:00 p.m. They should post it so people know that they should be an hour early from closing time. She did this to my husband also when I sent him a few months ago to do it for me. It seems their management doesn't look into their employees bad behavior towards customers. Another issue with this branch is their entrance door that's been broken for almost two years and it's still not fixed. When you try to come in, you can't open the door, so you'll have to knock and peek on the glass and look at the clerks to see and signal to open the door for you. Once you go out and tried to come back, you'll have to do the same thing. I honestly don't know how this place stays in business with such mean employees and ignorance of what's important in running their business. I guess customers just puts up with their shortcomings. I think these will be the last balikbayan boxes I'll ever send using LBC. I'm sure there are other cargo companies out there who has a much better customer service. read more

The people that come to your establishment are your clients but they treat them like a burden to their day and speaks in a very condescending tone as if the customers with no repect. Im very patient and rarely write bad reviews! But this branch is too much! Poor customer service! I waited in line and when it was my turn. The lady with glasses told me their prices went up. From their regular boxes to extra pounds. So i asked for evidence or a memo or anything that can show me that their prices really went up. I dont want to pay for something that im unsure of. But she cant give me anything, saying she lost it. But i insisted that i want to see it before paying for my purchase. So she said " ok if you want to see it you have to wait, i'll take care of these other customers" FIRST OF ALL, if a company has any changes prices , location , phone number whatever it is. They should have signs everywhere to let customers know of the change. Second of all, i waited like everybody else and now when its my turn shes going to take care of other people and let me wait again??? I dont think its fair! So i walked out. Cancelled my transaction. The only location close to long beach! I know they used to have one by willow and santa fe, but for some reason it closed. So went here around 11ish and it was a good experience. LBC is a great alternative to shipping things to the Philippines. No offense but this country has a postal system that is unreliable! Your package might get stolen or lost (but probably more likely stolen)! LBC makes thing safer! They deliver your packages door to door. So you big box of goodies will not have to be stored and stolen by the Philippine Postal system. However you should avoid this location if you can. There is a lady here who pretty much sits there on her computer (probably looking at facebook) and doesn't really help you at all. I tried to ship some things here and couldn't quite figure out why they can't ship a cheap watch out. She doesn't have a reason why even though they offer insurance if a package get's jacked. Whatever..lady you are just being lazy....you as reliable as dealing with the Philippine consulate in LA. read more

The lady who worked there handed me a bigger box and questioned me if I could afford to send the package and added, because it would be around $100. Poor customer service experience. This branch needs to reorient their employees to be friendly to their clients. There was an older senior citizen sending out some documents and was given a confusing instructions to fill out his papers. When he turned it in this lady who you could tell there's a dark heavy cloud hovering her snapped at this older gentleman who quickly put her into her position and telling her that he is an engineer and does not deserve such treatment. I used LBC services in Portland Oregon for 5 years - no issue. Job well done! When I moved here in Southern California, I thought LBC would be the same, I arrange pick up Monday 3/5 - they called and was not able to answer the phone. Box was not pick up- my fault. I called and they rescheduled We'd and told Myrna (CS) to put a note that they don't need to call just show up and I will be here waiting. She scheduled 3/7 1-5pm pick up sched. And wtf they called 10:15 am (saw voicemail) telling that they are in the area, and because I did not answer the call I have to reschedule again, seriously? So I called CS and Ruby has told me, that I don't need to worry coz they have 2 schedule and my 1-5pm Schedule is still good, just wait. I waited but got disappointed again. Called again they said somebody will call me to give me update, it's now Thu night "wala pa rin" called again Abbie, said it's better to reschedule the pick up Monday coz there's no response on all the follow up they made. Five days after, my sister have not received it yet and she's just home waiting to make sure she's there when they deliver it. What's the point of having a Filipino shipping company if you're not going to treat your own people with good customer service? This place is a JOKE. I came in inquiring about a certain item that I needed to ship. First when I get there, what's up with all the staring me down? Everyone is into everybody's business. So the guy behind the counter finally asked if he can help me. I grew up in the Philippines so I definitely know how to respect my elders. But this guy was just pushing me. First he grabbed my stuff like I was trying to ship something illegal. Then the lady that was working next to him, was trying to see what was going on. She didn't want to help she just wanted to be nosy. The guy finally told me that I can ship my items via boat shipping. So he pointed me to a counter with some boxes. I started looking, and I kid you not, they were all staring at me while I couldn't find the box I was looking for. Then finally he pointed to the big balikbayan boxes that they had. I was like, do you not see how small my merchandise is? It's like small bottles of paint for crafts. I just left and didn't say anything. Even if I said anything to them, I doubt it that they will care or understand. Whoever manages this place. Get your business together! Most of your customers are Filipino people. Such a big turn off when you walk in and you see faces that looks like they don't even want to work there. If you're unhappy with your job, just quit. I'm a long time LBC customer for 5 years plus and I've had enough with the poor customer service and lack of communication that LBC delivers to me and my friends who i've told to ship with LBC. I'm tired of getting my Items "missing" or having customer service representatives saying " we don't have your box because you didn't pay for it," also the "lack of english" and understanding. I am from Daly City, California and I ship my boxes to Global Consolidated Shippers LLC, by far the best move I ever did in my life. I ship my boxes through UPS first to deliver to the branch in Jacksonville, Florida. Yes, it's more money but, i'd rather have the ITEMS that I PURCHASED with my HARD-EARNED money not to be lost. Global Cargo is very underrated and they're just getting into the Balikbayan shipping scene, but unlike LBC, they CARE for my boxes and even STRAP every box with nylon straps. I delivered over 10 boxes with them already to cebu and already having the best customer service i've seen in all the 5 years i've been with LBC. Not one item lost ! read more

sent a package thru lbc air and a week after it has not been sent i called only to be told you wait for 3 more days because it takes that long sometimes but never even bothered to check if it did reach there already no initiative -over ten days passed still the package has not been received i finally talked to someone whom i requested to check what could have happened to the package and i was told that it has not been delivered bec that the consignee does not live at the address where i sent it to they that they have made multiple attempts then my question is wont their mind at least jump to communicate to whoever is the sender that the package could not be delivered bec there was a problem? we're already in the computer age where we can send e mails/texts how in the world are they conducting business Am i asking too much? read more
