February 2023 I hired a local moving company to ship my household goods from Guam to the mainland. Unfortunately they used Triple B as the freight forwarder. Long story short my crates were delivered to my house by a truck and driver from CA. Triple B failed to tell the trucking company a very important piece of information - 'it was a residential delivery'. Why was that important? Because when the truck arrived at my house the driver asked where my forklift was so he could get the crates off his truck! The trucking company was told it was a commercial delivery to a warehouse. Luckily the driver was a decent guy and offered to help off load my stuff. See attached picture of him breaking into the create so we could get our personal affects. It took 4 hours to empty 2 creates at which time I was required to pay $200 for the driver to dispose of the wood from the empty crates. Calling the CA office was a huge waste of time as was emailing the Guam office. Use them at your own risk! read more

Office staff is extremely unprofessional and rude!! First off, staff members smoke cigarettes within 20 feet of the main entrance, which is hazardous and illegal in California. Secondly, I'm curious about how lucrative a business is when they are ordering oversized items via uber eats and tipping the bare minimum? It needs to be delivered and installed by a professional, but maybe this company prides itself on cutting cost no matter the risk. Lastly, they don't accept deliveries by way of their front door, however, their staff must not all be privy to that information. A staff member ordered a 70 inch tv via uber eats and I, a 120 pound female driver, was addressed so poorly by another staff member while he proceeded to give me unsolicited instructions about the drop off after I unloaded the oversized package from my car. When delivering, I usually follow the instructions written in the app, and believe it or not, it's worked 100% of the time aside from today's drop off. This time, the address was shown and I was instructed to meet the customer at door. No sign of an indication between a front door and/or a receiving dock. I proceeded to bring the item to position on the property that showed the address, which was the front door/main entrance. This man was extremely rude and spoke abrasively to me. Maybe they need to properly train their staff to adequately inform drivers and delivery persons about where to drop off. And if they want it done correctly, maybe they need to hire delivery men with the appropriate equipment, expertise, and insurance to safely deliver oversized items instead of cutting corners in attempt to save money. read more

I used Triple B to ship 4 boxes from LA to Majuro in the Marshall Islands which is what they say they specialize in. Not only was the shipment late but they lost 1 box. Then they found it months later. then they shipped it to LA for me and overcharged me for handing fees even though the entire situation was their own fault. Throughout the process , which took an entire year I had to continually ask for status updates and they acted as if they just didn't care the whole time. When it arrived in LA they immediately started threatening me with storage fees. I would never use them again nor recommend them to a friend or relative. I lost $2500 on the deal. read more

The last time I used them, the shipment was a week late. Apparently not their fault; we were informed the Coast Guard held up the ship, but for a week? Unfortunately this meant Christmas presents didn't arrive on time. My husband signed for the boxes when they were delivered. A few days later, when we were unpacking the shipment, a box was missing. It was the main part of the late Christmas gift. It wasn't expensive, cost about $70. When I tried to remedy the situation, my first few emails were ignored. When I got through to speak with someone on the phone, I was told someone would call me back after they check it out. When nobody called after a few days, I called again and the person that answered the phone said, "We don't have that here." That's it. no apology or effort to help solve the problem. I asked what else we could do since we paid for the item, paid for the delivery, it was accounted for in California but never made it to the final destination. She said someone would get back to me. Again, nobody did. I finally emailed customer service along with several other email contacts I had in different offices. The reply I got was that they couldn't do anything because my husband had signed for the boxes. They sent a copy of the receipt of delivery that said "11 boxes delivered". This meant nothing since we did not, in fact, get all 11 boxes! When I wrote back about my hope for better customer service, nobody replied. Triple B will never get my business again and I have been sure to give friends alternative options for forwarding items from the mainland. Real customer service might apologize at the minimum. But for a $70 item on Amazon, I would have thought they would have taken more accountability rather than lose potential thousands of dollars in future business. I do not recommend this company. They are unreliable and have very poor customer service. read more

TRIPLE B SHIPS TO PALAU ==================== I've been to Triple B twice and feel confident bringing shipments to them. I dropped off a dozen hammocks today to send to Palau near the Philippines. It feels strange pulling up to the loading docks in my car with eighteen wheelers backed into the dock, but they don't care. They put everything on a pallet, weigh it and give you a receipt. I had an amazing experience with Triple B Forwarders today. Most communication was done between my sister (owner of the vehicle) and Rebecca Malone, I simply was the middleman. Since I live in LA it's easier for me to pick up the car than my sister who's in SD. Customer service was exceptional on my end. From what I heard, my sister didn't have the same luck with the Guam representatives. I was sorry to hear that because I was very well taken care of at this location! Rebecca was friendly and followed protocol, assured me I would be helped immediately. If I could highlight one single employee, though, I would put my vote in for Pat! He was exceptional!! He was friendly and kind. He checked the battery to make sure it was good to go. Unfortunately, because of the sedentary state of the vehicle, the car wouldn't turn on. I understood. Pat was kind enough to jumpstart the car. He advised me to keep it on for 10min before running it. He gave me directions to his recommended gas station and reassured me that if there were any future issues, to contact him and he'd personally drive to me and help. I did as he mentioned. When I was ready to blast off, the car wouldn't start! So, I took Pat on his offer and returned the call. He gladly came to my rescue! During the second inspection, he noticed a loose screw. He, again, kindly offered to fix it back at the warehouse, which is exactly what he did! Pat was kind, friendly, and with every possible opportunity personally went out of his way to help me! Triple B Forwarders shipped our crate from the mainland to Guam perfectly. When we moved back from Guam to the mainland, we chose to not put our items in a crate. Instead we boxed up our possessions and they put them on a crate and saran wrapped the lot which filled the base of a standard crate and stood approximately 8 feet tall. This saran wrapped lot was put on a crate with lots of other people's possessions and shipped once the crate was full. The shipment arrived in the Los Angelos port approximately 2 months later. Since we were living in the Mississippi, we paid extra for them ship it to our location. They chose UPS to do this. When UPS delivered, 1/2 of the lot was gone. I contacted Triple B and Yolanda took my call. She had us send her a list of what was missing. She contacted UPS telling them the situation and they located our boxes and they were delivered within the next few weeks. Way to go Triple B Forwarders! read more

I'm not one to write nasty, scathing complaints so please don't expect this to be one. I am a person, however, that appreciates some form of customer service, care, and attention when I am spending money and entrusting you with things. Aside from Lydia Perez, Triple B did not offer that to me. For the most part I was treated like a waste of time. I was not given the information I needed. When my package arrived it was addressed to the wrong person (which can end up being a big deal in a foreign country). In addition, I did all of the necessary paperwork and worked hard at getting them these things on time; I sent in all of my payment information in August and am just now receiving a letter saying that my payment is "past due" though I have sent in all of the proper paper work. My advice - avoid this company. read more
