Feast was delicious! I have been wanting to try this place for a while now and I finally got to try their JON LECHON & AHI POKE (Soy Ginger as recommended by the staff)! The flavor of the ginger mixes so well with the poke and saltiness of the lechon. I like how the skin is super crispy too! The staff were kind and friendly by giving us recommendations. They are located in Midtown Eats Food Hall. You order from the counter or kiosk and pick up when your number is called. There is lots of open seating tables inside and outside.

First time trying Lobster Rolls at this food hall location but we had Feast lobster rolls before at their Manoa location. It's served with umami sauce, fries and a slice of lemon. My first impression is that the lobster is served cold (Maine style) like it came straight out of the refrigerator. I prefer hot lobster (Connecticut style). The rolls were mildly buttered and wished for a bit more butter but the fresh rolls were a standout because they were sweet rolls instead of plain rolls. The amount of lobster meat was decent- not too skimpy but not huge. The lobster meat taste was satisfying. I was surprised how fast our order came out- maybe because they don't warm it up. My gf loved the super crispy fries. Sort of like overdone skinny McD fries to me. The lobster rolls were a bit pricey at $32 but we love lobster rolls so we don't mind splurging. The cashier was friendly and helpful when placing the order. There is a self ordering kiosk if you don't want to wait in line. Feast is centrally located in this inviting food hall and like the indoor or outdoor choices of ambiance. Parking is free (but that could change). Of course, after you eat buttered lobster rolls, you need to wash your hands afterwards and the restrooms for this food hall are clean and have motion sensor activated faucets, soap dispensers and paper towel dispensers. The restrooms are hidden at the far end of the food hall past the gelato place. Get the restroom codes from any vendor. Will probably be back to try other menu items like loco moco, prime rib, poke bowls, burgers and garlic chicken plates.

New second location for Feast inside the Midtown Eats food hall. Much more accessible for townies than the OG Manoa location, which is still open...and also a lot better quality tbh. Food was fine, just doesn't knock your socks off like the original location.

Feast has a location in Manoa and now Koreatown at the food hall Midtown Eats. Their hours are from 1100a thru 700p. I made my initial check in for refined grinds at Midtown Eats on Saint Patrick's Day, Tuesday.17.March.2026. I went to order the Sham rock Special: Guinness-braised corned beef. I am not a basic beta...so I didn't wear any green...but corned beef specials - why not? Not your traditional St. Paddy's meal. Guinness- braised corned beef served with rice, won bok, Yukon potatoes , and ( I think ) a Dijon mustard. It was good. Brine is typically salty and I am sensitive to salt overload but it was tolerable. Corned beef: buttery soft. The Shamrock Special is $20 and available only today. Was it the gastronomic Pot o' Gold...not quite but not far from it. I ordered takeaway and it took 30 minutes. It was just before 1100a and they had a mini-rush.

This place is one of the vendors located in Midtown Eats. I did try their Lobster roll at their Manoa location and I remember liking it so felt like eating it again. It was $20 over 5 years ago at the Manoa location...it's now $32 here at this food hall. Pricey but I still ordered it to feed my craving. I didn't enjoy it like I did the first time. They served the lobster cold...why? Didn't care for that and the lobster didn't have too much taste. I haven't eaten lobster in a long time so I was really disappointed. Gave a section to my husband, he took a bite and gave it back to me. Don't think I'd order this again. My husband ordered the Aloha Loco Moco made with Wagyu hamburger. He thought it was good but said it didn't taste any different from some other places that serve regular hamburgers for their Loco Moco. I tried it and we both thought it was a little tough...not tender. It comes with only 1 hamburger so $17 is pricey. Overall, we didn't enjoy our meal but might come back to try something different.

Feast in Midtown Eats My other half was itching to dine at their new location, as it's more convenient than their Manoa location. Menu choices are limited. Ordered the Fresh Catch of the Day, which was a nice cut of grilled ahi. Other half got the Steak and Cheese sandwich with fries. It was a hefty size but seemingly overseasoned. Service was prompt which was much appreciated. Tables were available inside and outside. They are bussed and cleaned quickly. Perhaps it's a time of adjustment since they opened recently. Wish I could rate them higher.

Lunch in Honolulu, Hawaii... Located at the new Food Hall called Midtown Eats (on the ground level of the Park on Keeaumoku), Feast has opened its second location! The first location is in Manoa where the parking is challenging because it's a residential area. This second location of Feast is better because of the air-conditioning, shared seating area, clean, spacious, bright environment, convenient restroom, and free validated parking for up to 2 hours! Enter the parking structure on Liona Street. I ordered the Hawaiian style Lobster Roll. It came with complimentary French fries for the Soft Opening. The pleasant staff gave me some ketchup for the fries... thank you! The fries were thin, crisp, and delicious! The soft roll was on the sweet side. The Lobster filling had tiny bits of celery. The chunks of Lobster were much appreciated! This was a wonderful foodie experience!

I love Feast. I used to buy lobster rolls from their restaurant in Manoa. This location is much closer for me. I got their Hawaiian style lobster roll (lobster, umami mayo, lemon, scallions, buttered Hawaiian sweet bread and fries) $32. My son got their fresh ahi poke bowl with white rice $20. They had a choice of shoyu ginger or spicy. He chose the shoyu ginger. Their lobster rolls are served Maine style; cold with mayo. I prefer my lobster rolls Connecticut style; warm with butter. However, this was delicious. The filling was all lobster and no fillers. The lobster was fresh and went well with the umami mayo. It came with skinny fries, which is so much better than regular fries. It was super crispy. The ahi bowl was on the smaller side, but the ahi was firm and fresh. The shoyu ginger sauce was chefs kiss. I will be back for another lobster roll. Seafood is my favorite.

For years I've wanted to try their Lobster roll. The problem was parking at the Manoa location. Was invited to have lunch at the newly opened Midtown Food Court. Alas I finally get to try their lobster roll. My take on the lobster roll. The sweet bread roll was excellent Buttery and toasted perfectly. Lobster was not as sweet as other places. A little pricey,at $ 32.00. Went to the counter and waited. Two workers and just looked at me. One of the workers went to the freezer and got someone. He looked at me again and told me me that the opened at 11 o'clock. After a forty minute wait a women came to the counter. She took my order and in five minutes my order was ready. They are located in the middle of the line of other food establishments. Enjoy

Feast by Jon Matsubara, my favorite eatery from Manoa Valley now also in the new foodcourt Midtown Eats. So nice to see familiar face as Jaime greeted the crowds gathered for the soft opening. Currently serving their famous lobster rolls as well as their delicious wagyu burger. Today I enjoyed their wagyu burger (even better than the last time I had it) which was accompanied by their delicious shoestring French fries. Get their lobster roll and with their soft opening special receive the same delicious fries complimentary! Love I can now enjoy the same Asian fusion deliciousness with much easier access (its midtown!) and much easier parking..!

Located in the new Midtown Eats food court is Feast by John Matsubara. Beautiful location with so much space. Ordered the Lobster roll which came with the tasty and crispiest French fries. Also ordered was the Wagyu loco moco. That lobster roll was stuffed with only lobster! No fillers thank you! The sweet roll soft and slightly grilled perfect! Loco Moco was just as tasty. The patty sat on a bed of rice, topped with an egg your way. Best part? Smothered with a derp rich brown gravy. That gravy was luscious and rich. So deep with flavor. For me if the gravy is not good the dish is not good. This was good! Highly recommend!

FEAST Refined Grinds at Midtown Eats... left me wanting more for an unexpected reason ... I got the FEAST lobster roll. Fresh tasting with lemon & hot butter on the side ( I was surprised I had to go back and ask for with me eating there ‍) super thin cut generous French fries were crunchy deliciouss!... unfortunately the amount of lobster ( which actually lay on top of roll given solid portion appearance...from lobster rolls I have purchased in other Honolulu eateries the amount usually has been 3 to 3.5 ounces... whereas FEAST's lobster was maybe 2 ounces at best... for $32, I was sadly unsatisfied. Staff was friendly with many other food options, but I do not recommend their lobster roll... glad I decided to eat there as if I would have got to go I would thought 1/2 was missing... oh well, this is how you learn. I may go back & try other items asking more questions upfront ...

There are only a hand full of tables inside and a small bar area, but there is also outdoor seating outside, too! A neat fact is that there were pictures posted from when the shop first opened up and to see They Daley as a fixture in Chinatown is amazing since they've stuck around and adapted to the development around. I came in ready to experience a life-changing Wagyu burger... the kind that makes you question…read moreevery burger you've ever eaten. Instead, I had a really good burger. I ordered the Wagyu Deluxe Burger, and don't get me wrong--it was juicy, well-seasoned, and served on a soft, slightly sweet bun that tied everything together nicely. It was delicious! But if you blindfolded me, I don't know if I could confidently tell you it was Wagyu. It tasted very similar to a really good smash burger, so unless you're trying to impress your taste buds (or your wallet), I'd probably just order the original smash burger next time. One thing to keep in mind: there was only one guy running the whole operation when I visited. He was taking orders, cooking, and doing everything short of cloning himself. So if the place gets busy, expect a little wait. Honestly, respect to him for keeping it all together. Parking is a bit of a treasure hunt since there are only a few stalls. I got lucky and snagged the last spot, but street parking may be your backup plan. The inside was clean, spacious, and a comfortable place to enjoy your meal. Overall, I'd definitely come back--next time I'll save a few bucks, grab the original smash burger, and let the lone burger superhero work his magic.

Along with two other people waiting for takeout, there were also about five parties dining in still waiting for their food. I ended up receiving my order at 1:57 PM. For a single burger, that felt like a pretty long wait -- especially after already waiting inside the restaurant for around 20 minutes with no updates. If an order is given a pickup time, it should ideally be ready or close to ready by then. That was definitely the biggest downside of the experience. The burger itself was good, though not quite worth the 40-45 minute wait overall. I ordered the Umami Wagyu Cheeseburger. It had good flavor, but it was pretty messy, and honestly, I couldn't really tell much of a difference from regular beef. I'm not sure the "wagyu" aspect added much for me personally. I'm usually a very patient person, but this experience left me feeling a bit underwhelmed. I can only imagine how long the dine-in customers were waiting. I'm glad I had the chance to try it, but I'm not sure if I'd come back.
