Food is always excellent. Service unmatched. Prices affordable. Highly recommend . We visit often and perfect every time.

Last night we started the evening with cocktails and calamari in the bar while we waited for our table. A full restaurant and 45 minute wait and not a mask in sight felt really good! Lucky for us, we were able to grab the only 3 low-top seats at the end of the bar, so we decided to eat dinner there too and forego the wait. The FD martini is made with Tito's & blood orange and it was strong and delicious. One was enough for me. This is one of my parents' favorites. Great food and great prices. The menu options are executed well and there is something for everyone. My Dad loves the fish tacos, which actually looks more like a burrito cut in half and they grill the tortilla. I usually get the bourbon glazed cedar plank salmon with pineapple salsa and tonight was no exception. It's always perfectly cooked and a nice portion size. It comes with mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli, so I like to swap for their southern green beans (which tastes like bacon, but there is no bacon in sight), delicious, and their matchstick veggies which are my favorite. Their house salad is also really tasty with fresh spring greens, matchstick green apple and candied pecans with a gorgeous lemon vinaigrette. We like that the vibe is casual upscale but without the upscale up charges. My martini, dinner and salad came to $25 with tax. Nice! My only "nit" is that the bartender took my water glass to refill with ice & water and after he gave it back, immediately started putting away clean glasses without washing his hands first. Everything is fully open with no more Covid precautions, but good hygiene is always important. read more

Great food, good service. The ambiance made it. Tried a Sunday night after flying into town and the wait was going to be over 45 minutes. Went on a Monday night at 6, the wait was 20 minutes. They don't do reservations. read more

This place looks amazing with the stone on the outside and inside is nice as well. The menu items looked unusual and delicious and made it hard to decide which entree to order. Our server was good and then the food came. It was mediocre. I was disappointed. It was just ok. The chicken was a bit tough. It seemed like it might have been sitting out awhile. I would still go back if in the area and give them another try. read more

Food was great. Service excellent. Seated in a timely fashion. The booth cushion was the only complaint....it needed to be replaced as it was sunk in by 6 inches or so. read more

This is always a place I enjoy going and bringing friends especially when I pick up the tab as it's a fair price for great food.

Absolutely! Here'Their food choices are absolutely amazing and the prices are shockingly reasonable for a grill house! Whenever our extended family gathers in Springfield, MO, this place is always at the top of our list. The service is not just friendly, it's downright delightful and super accommodating. I have been to FD's three times and have had a positive experience every time. I stayed across the street at the Holiday Inn Express, so it is very convenient. All times I have been here the wait has never been over 15 minutes. The menu has a variety of items to choose from. I feel that all food that I have ordered has been exceptionally fresh and made to order. Nothing from under a heat lamp. We were visiting over Christmas so we at here 12/23/2024 and 12/24/2023. We had chicken salad and salmon salad with Key Lime pie the first night. The second night we had another chicken salad and the fish platter with Key Lime pie again! Also, the honey lime dressing is so delicious, thanks to Hallie S for the recommendation. She was a very attentive and welcoming waitress, definitely an asset to the restaurant. So back to the Key Lime pie, well it is good just get it and you won't be disappointed! Also did I mention this place is affordable too. I will attach my receipt. read more

I can't say enough about this place. It was a cold search for salads and good food after walking the gardens nearby. We were in the area up from Branson and We decided to give it a try and we are happy we did. The food was amazing. Great flavors and cooked perfect. Haylee was our server and she was so helpful and friendly. The prices were so reasonable IE surprised they were as low as they were. The place is easy to get to and the restaurant was very clean. I would give it 6 stars. read more

The food and customer service was the best! I highly recommend FD's - quality food at a reasonable price!

Delicious seafood and steaks at a good price. They always have a crowd and handle the crowd well.

I love this restaurant it's probably my favorite in Springfield. The food is amazing I've never been upset, although it's a little disappointing that they're always out of the New York strip.:( The sirloin makes it easy to get over that. With this being said where this restaurant could use a little work is right at the entrance. Every time I've come in Ella always seems to think I'm invisible, or doesn't care to acknowledge me or my wife . I've came in three times with her as a host and she never said a word to me or my wife. All of the other host are amazing to us and treat us great along with the amazing servers. I think this could be fixed with some coaching or having her removed but I've noticed it not once, not twice, but three times she has no idea how to treat people professionally. Thank you for taking your time to read my thoughts and concerns read more

Good service ,food and prices. Nice comfortable atmosphere. mixed drinks are spot on great margaritas

The food is always good and service is too. Sierra is an excellent server, she's served us several times!

My first experience with FD's Grillhouse was the ambiance. Great atmosphere, family-friendly, and staff providing great customer service, the waitress that served us was fast and efficient with our drink refills and making sure we had everything we needed. As for the food, the appetizers were bangin, starting with the fried pickles and ranch providing a nice crispy exterior on the pickles, and the ranch was amazing, then the meal itself was spot on. The chicken strips were great, and the fries were cooked just right. Crispy and lightly salted on the exterior, and the coleslaw was ok. It was a little bland imo. But still on my rating scale from D-SSS, I give an overall score of SS. read more

FD's Grillhouse - This was a fantastic meal. Especially the Honey mustard dipping sauce - American Near Me - Springfield, Missouri

We were very pleasantly surprised by FD's. I had the salmon and my wife had chicken with cream sauce. The main dish as well as our veggies were well seasoned and cooked. The service was excellent and the total bill, with wines, was surprisingly low. Will look for more FD's as we travel. read more

Service- excellent. Hawaiian Chicken and fire cracker shrimp were excellent also. Time well spent for us!

Great customer service, delicious food and drinks and very reasonable prices!! Love this place!

FD's Grillhouse is a solid establishment. Tasty food at a very good price point. I had the steak and grilled shrimp, and everything was delicious. The fried shrimp seemed to be a pretty poplular item and looked delicious as well. All of the staff were friendly, and the ambience felt like a fancier version of Texas Roadhouse. I would def recommend giving this place a try! read more

FD's Grillhouse - Atlantic salmon - American Near Me - Springfield, Missouri

We had such a delightful experience! The food is good, the prices are shockingly affordable as the vibes of the restaurant feel higher end, and the staff (we sat at the bar for dinner so no waiting) was a pleasure to have great conversation with. Thank you Jose and Malik! The Manager Bart even checked on us a couple of times and brought my husband some fried shrimp to try after Hubby realized he accidentally ordered grilled instead of fried. We offered to pay and Bart said absolutely not! The calamari was great, and we opted for the trio so we could try the stuffed shrimp at Malik's recommendation. WOW! We had a fantastic dinner experience and are already planning our trip back, which says a lot because we live an hour away. Thanks FD's! read more

Great food wonderful atmosphere. Very well priced and they will make substitutions without question want a baked potato instead of fries done. read more

Food was delicious! Great prices! I had the Center cut top sirloin steak. Flavorful, more done than I wanted but still good. House salad is wonderful. Loved the green beans! Hubby had the shrimp gumbo and said it tasty. Son had the chicken tenders and fries. Tenders were crispy and bigger than anticipated, but fries were cold. He also had a rootbeer that we think the syrup was going out on. Serves was good. At times it was slow but it was also busy. Ambiance made you feel like you were in a more expensive restaurant. Overall, we will totally be back. Prices were cheaper than expected as well. read more

Great food and atmosphere and service including excellent fish dishes. Highly recommended. Loud.

Went here because we wanted catfish. The menus listed here are outdated as we discovered after waiting 30 minutes on a busy Friday at 6:30 pm. The new menu has eliminated a lot of items. We ordered margaritas very good plenty of alcohol. Fried pickles good light batter and not soggy. We only ordered the trio alaskan fish (cod), shrimp and crab stuffed shrimp. They had a unique corn meal batter it was good but not anything like any other restaurant has for fried food. The crab stuffed shrimp was pretty spicy but good. Prices are reasonable and staff was friendly, attentive and answered questions. Even with the limited menu we will return on a less busy day. I'm adding the current menu to pictures. It is a family restaurant and it was packed and very loud. read more

Great food and customer service! FD's was crowded so we knew it must have been good. It wasn't a long wait and worth the wait.

In spite of being very busy we were seated faster than I was told. Food was good and waitress was helpful

Every thing was an A+. Excellent service, great drinks, food was amazing. Had fish and chips. Batter was light and flaky. Not even a hint of being greasy. We had appetizers and 3 different entrées And all were perfect read more

Great food and service. It is really noisy during the lunch hour. But the food makes it worthwhile.

Burger was a little greasy. Service was good. Go early, it gets busy and loud. Try the seafood.
