Horrible company to deal with. Never answered the phone when I called. Charged me to ship my items by FedEx but then turned around and sent it USPS Priority. The items where lost by USPS and took a week to arrive. Meanwhile my faucet isn't working. Company wouldn't refund any shipping charge difference or even acknowledge there was an issue. FRAUD!!! DO NOT ORDER FROM FAUCET SHARK!!!! Faucet Shark took my money and never sent me the item!!! I ordered an item on 1/18/2023 that was billed on 1/31/2023. When I got the credit card bill on 2/28/2023, I called Faucet Shark's 800 number and the recording essentially said that they were having supply chain issues, which are not uncommon these days. I called several more times looking for this item. Finally in early May, I ordered the part elsewhere and received it within a week or so. I don't know what would possess someone to open an actual brick & mortar hardware store these days, in era where, at best, you find yourself trying to survive in the metaphorical frying pan that is competition with Home Depot/Lowes, or even worse, in the amazon/alibaba fire. But whimsically-named Faucet Shark has gone against conventional wisdom and done exactly that. And I'm glad they did, because this place offers something no Home Depot or amazon reseller could ever hope to: In-person expertise. When I visited, there was one customer ahead of me, a handyman for some local apartment buildings. He showed me a 100+ year old brass plumbing part, which he was hoping to find a replacement for. Faucet Shark rebuilt it for him the same day he brought it in, quite possibly saving the guy hundreds of dollars and weeks of downtime. I just needed a certain drain piece. The guy who had fixed the ancient brass plumbing part (the proprietor, I'm assuming) said he didn't have it. I thanked him for his time, left. A minute later he was hollering out the door to say he'd found one, which he then sold to me for less than I'd have paid at Home Depot (made in the USA and significantly higher quality than what I'd expect from a Big Box retailer, too). The place is kind of disheveled, so don't expect it to present like an Apple Store, just expect it to know what it's doing. Since it's 2019, Faucet Shark is, of course, also (maybe primarily?) an online retailer, but its physical location is also open to walk-in customers. Places like this are disappearing fast. The ones that survive are going to be the ones that are simply extraordinary at what they do. This place is the pits... their online service is less than disappointing. Use another service, literally any other service to get the items you require. I made the mistake of not looking up prior reviews and am now paying the price. I ordered my item 3 weeks ago (despite usual order times fulfilled in 1-2) and have not received any correspondence regarding the order. When I attempt to contact regarding status or anything regarding the order, the response is "cancel if you'd like." Rest assured that I have already paid for the item as my credit card was charged upon my order. Sadly, I get the distinct impression that the company doesn't care nor minds conducting business this way. I am a handyman. I ordered a part that took a month to ship. Not a problem. USPS decided to NOT deliver the part, because the tenant was not listed, but had my name instead. I have tried for 3 weeks to remedy this with faucet shark. They have not returned any response to my email or to my voice mail messages. If I could give ZERO stars, that is what they would get. ZERO STARS DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I am leaving this review on every venue I can find. I cannot believe how horrible these people are. I have been patient, I have done the right thing with no results. So I will blast out this review and warning to all who will see it. I ordered a handle replacement for my tub from this company online in April 2020 for $378.38. They charged me twice for the handle. This was an issue, they DID send the handle out and it looks like they caught their mistake of the double charge (Via PayPal) HOWEVER they charged us AGAIN in May for the same item that we NEVER ordered. So basically there were 3 charges for $387.38 from them. I have filed a dispute with PayPal to no avail. This company will not answer the phone nor any of the numerous emails I have sent. I don't understand how they are getting away with this. It is wrong. They essentially stole money from us. And PayPal allowed it. I am disgusted. I should have read other negative reviews before placing my order... The order confirmation came back with a wrong shipping address. This was on Saturday. There is no website option to update or cancel an order, so I left couple voicemails and sent e-mails asking to correct the address. No response whatsoever. I called and e-mailed again on Monday, finally got e-mail response that the order already shipped. Later USPS confirmed the package did not ship till Tuesday afternoon, so FaucetShark had plenty of time to fix the problem - but decided not to. After further e-mails, they promised to ask USPS to return the package so it could be sent to the right address - and did nothing; the package still went to the wrong address... The people are rude and they charge you OUTRAGEOUS restocking fees... I would have been much better off shopping with Amazon or Costco!! I never even opened the box. I had to return the items i purchased and although I expected to pay for the shipping costs, I was shocked that they gouge customers with a 25% restocking fee. This is a legitimate business. I ordered a flush valve, replacement flappers for the valve and a flush valve wrench. The order arrived without the flappers and a note saying the flappers were out of stock. These flappers are no longer being made and were not available anywhere else so I had to return the flush valve and wrench. Although I couldn't get through to speak to anyone on the phone, my emails were always answered on the same day and I received a return code promptly. Furthermore they waived the restocking fee since I complained that they should have notified me the flappers were out of stock before sending the flush valve. My credit card account was credited within 5 days of the receipt of the returned product. Also I noted that the website now correctly says those flappers are out of stock. read more

If you live in Chicago and can go into the store you might be okay, but if you order something online you will be lucky to get your order. I ordered a part online from them months ago and it still has not shipped. I have called and called and called and called and never once has anyone answered the phone. I have left message after message after message after message, and no one has ever returned my phone calls. I recently tried contacting them via email hearing some customers had gotten a response that way, but no luck there either. When looking online I see bunches of complaints and find that the BBB has given them the boot and no longer allows them to be a member do to the number of complaints and the number of unresolved complaints. If you can walk into the store and buy what you want, this place might be fine, but if you are looking to buy something online, don't hold your breath you will ever receive it! read more

I ordered two from different manufacturers and they were both the genuine product and of a completely different higher quality than the cheap Faucet Shark product. Avoid! This is NOT a serious business. I ordered some replacement parts that they never delivered. I eventually canceled the order according to their instructions on the website, but no response and they didn't pay me back. I sent multiple emails, used their contact form on the website, and called, but no response. As a last resort, I contacted PayPal to file a claim. PayPal's initial step is to act as a meddler so that the issue can be solved between buyer and seller. But once again, Faucet Shark didn't respond. I had to escalate my claim before they granted me my money back. According to the log of the claim, it seems like Faucet Shark never even responded when the case had been escalated. AWFUL customer service!!! ordered a faucet online and it shipped with parts missing. after many calls with no answer I was able to get a reply to an email in which they just blame the manufacturer since the faucet according to them came directly from the manufacturer. they did not make the smallest attempt to help their customer because the 30 grace period for returns had passed, despite of my situation where the parts missing where valves that only the plumbers was able to spot and I was unable to get an answer to my calls for many days!!! never ordering from Faucet Shark again. read more

I have no reason to believe, at this point, this is a real business. We placed 2 orders for desperately needed plumbing parts 2 weeks ago and our credit card was charged immediately, however, we still have not received the parts nor any response to our numerous emails and voice mails inquiring about the orders. We've sent yet another communication demanding they refund the money for those orders they were unable to fulfill. They should not have charged our card befor shipping orders and certainly not when they have no product to offer. When people seek plumbing parts, it's often due to immediate necessity. I though it odd I didn't get a confirmation but that was ok they seemed like a small operator I figured I'd let it go. A few weeks later nothing I emailed - nothing. Emailed again a week after - nothing. Called no answer. I went through PayPal to email - nothing. Finally after two months I had to go to the PayPal resolution and got my money back. I purchased a Newport Brass(expensive) cartridge from Faucet Shark on line due to my local plumbing supply being closed due to Covid. My plumber installed it and within a month it was no longer working. My plumber tried everything to fix it and finally called Newport who said the part must have been defective and should be covered for a year under a parts warranty. Faucet Shark would not replace the part because it had been more than 10 days (their return policy, seriously?!) and said they don't follow NB warranties because they don't buy directly from them. WARNING! not sure who they are buying their products from but they are faulty and not guaranteed! DO NOT buy from them or you will be literally throwing your money down the drain like I did! read more
