Excellent Kosher food! Cute little restaurant and the staff were very kind! Seems a little pricey per plate but you get huge amounts of food! Enough for a couple days! Loved the chicken... even the green beans had a special flavor! I would definitely go back to try something else next time. Very fun to try! We just visited Fata Morgana and it was quite the experience. We ordered the hummus appetizer, garlic fries and the Pita Lachmajoon (juicy beef on an open pita with tahini and matcha on the side). First impression is that the servings are huge. The hummus was original with a sliced boiled egg and jalepeno on top. Overall hummus was excellent. When the sever asked do you want the regular or large garlic fries (go with the regular) the large was huge. They were crispy and very tasty (overall excellent). The juicy beef lachmajoon was disappointing and the server made us another order. It was described as "juicy" but was very dry. The reorder was excellent (it was very juicy and favorable). I think the first portion must have been sitting under a heat lamp and should not have been served. As for ambiance, don't turn away from stopping at a strip mall because it is well worth it. Delicious delicious delicious! Hummus with mushrooms are so good. Creamy hummus goes so well with mushrooms and onions. The bread for the hummus is so fluffy and warm. We could not stop but have to stop because this appetizer is huge and we need to have some rooms for the main dish. Sabich is huge and delicious. Fata chef sandwich is so delicious. The sandwich has schnitzel, thin slide of egg plants, and the bast part is the matbucha, spicy tomato and roasted peppers. While it took a while to get someone's attention, a server did come to get my order, although she was rushed so she could return to her tables. Came in to get a gift cars for a birthday and they were super helpful and the menu looked amazing. They also had boxes of fresh baked goods which made a perfect addition to the gift card. I'm pissed at myself that it took me so long to have food from Fata Morgana! As a New York Jew, I was supremely comforted by the authentic food here. Got a lot of takeout that included pretty much the entire menu- shwarma, chicken, rice, pita, challah, hummus, babka, Israeli salad, date cookies, cabbage, and more. Also had a sabich sandwich, an Iraqi Jewish sandwich consisting of pita or laffa bread stuffed with fried eggplants, hard boiled eggs, chopped salad, parsley, amba and tahini sauce. I will say my favorite thing that I tried was the pita bread. It's so soft because they steam it, something I'd never heard of! If you're looking to get one item, I recommend this sandwich! Also appreciated how rich their babka is. It was the most moist, most chocolatey babka I have ever had, including homemade ones. All things Israeli found here! Came with my sister to try this place out. We started with the hummus. Omg it was huge! We weren't a fan of it cause it tasted weird like peanut butter. For entrees I got the baby chicken skewers. I recently went here with a few other people for a weeknight dinner and had a very good experience-the ambiance was fine, the service was solid, and the food was tasty overall. My group split the Baladi eggplant and Lachmajoun as appetizers. Both were very good-the eggplant was smoky and creamy and the lachmajoun had fantastic flavor and spice. Be careful with the condiments that come with the lachmajoun-they have great kick! For mains, one of my friends and I split the malawach and the lamb merguez sandwich. The malawach was delicious and had great toppings. The lamb merguez was somewhat dry, the laffa disappointing, and the other toppings somewhat lacking. This is a very authentic little hole in the wall place with great food! I came here with my dad and we were promptly seated, the waitress was so sweet (really all the people that worked there were amazing!) We started with the hummus with was a little pricey but HUGE, you really do get $17 worth of hummus let me say. The pita that came with it was so fluffy and delicious! We both got shawarma, my dad the beef and me the chicken. The beef at more flavor, the chicken was good but I would've liked a little more seasoning. It's very rich too, perhaps a little more of the cucumbers and veggies that were at the bottom of the shawarma pita pocket would be nice. Monday night apparently was big night. We were in large group of 17 people and we had such a great time. The food were delicious and the service was good. I got rugelach for dessert for $9.99 a package and was about 15 pieces in it ( looked like mini croissants ) forgot to take pictures, but it was super good! In spite of its namesake, I assure you that this is no mirage. This is the real deal and in all my travels to West Asia, this was surprisingly good and way exceeded for expectations. To be fair, I only ordered the Hummus and wow, it was a full spread of tahini, a spicy sauce and tahini with to go with the phenomenal pita I had. This hummus eats like a meal, for 2 mind you, but don't let that stop you from ordering more. I'm looking to returning and trying the rest of the menu. I ordered food last night and now I can't wait to go to the actual restaurant. The falafel pita was delish and I loved that I had the options to add different items (please add lettuce and tomato though). The garlic fries were the best fries I've eaten in years which is saying something because delivery fries are usually not very good or meh at best. The chocolate cake was very yummy. I think it's meant to be heated but I didn't heat it and I don't think that mattered much. I will definitely be eating this delicious food again. read more

The most soft and pillowy pita I've ever felt. We went at lunch and I was pleased to see a moderate size crowd. This place is no frills, with a small staff and a large menu. Avocado eggrolls- tasty treats ! My husband and I split another appetizer and I tried sabich for the first time which was a unique blend of fried eggplant, hummus, pickles, Israeli salad all stuffed in the delightful pita pillow (although you can have on baguette as well). Sandwiches came with perfectly crispy fries too. Needless to say we have many a leftover as portions are quite large! There's a small bar with limited offerings although we didn't imbibe this go round. I'm stoked to go back and try hummus and falafel. Im hoping this becomes a regular on our rotation. read more
