Best thin crust tavern style pizza we've had in a long time, in a very unexpected location. My wife, her mom, and I had just crossed the Oregon-California border into Oregon and used the nearby Dollar Tree in Brookings to be our end point on our fourth day Internet access had been spotty throughout our trip through Big Sur and then Redwood parks, so used a combination of Google maps and Yelp to find nearby businesses, just for fun. Fat Cat showed up with high ratings. None of us were particularly hungry, but their ratings for thin-crust pizza piqued my interest, so we adjusted our plans and walked in. There was one employee (Ian) working on this mid afternoon time on hump day, so had to get his attention while he was working in the back. You place and pay for your order first, so ordered a medium thin crust pineapple/ham ($15). Not knowing what to expect, I asked if the pizza crust could be made well done. We sat down at the fast food booths, and didn't have to wait long. When the pizza came, all of us knew immediately by the sight and smell that it was going to be great. The crust was the perfect thinness, and the toppings were generous. Our plan was to sample some of it and then take the rest back, but the three of us ended eating every single piece. It was that good. We learned a bit more about the business from Ian. It used to be a franchise pizza joint, but the owner decided to stop being a franchisee, and create a local name. 'Gato Gordo' was thrown out as an early name, with the final name being chosen as the winner from an early Christmas party secret Santa gift. The pizza crust is consistently made by a dough sheeter at a low thinness setting. This might be sacrilegious, but I think I prefer this way vs the hand tossed NY style that is way more prevalent (and way more expensive). read more

Great friendly service and the pizza is pretty good too I'm originally from Chicago so my metrics are a little bit different

Stopped in at Fat Cat Pizza off Hwy 101 in Brookings and it was a standout. Fresh dough, thin tavern-style crust with a good chew and crisp edge, and toppings that actually taste like they were put on with some care--not the usual highway-pizza pile-on. Specialty pies with the cat names (Meowgarita, Siamese Sriracha, Chicken Bacon Ranch, Philly Cheesesteak) are the way to go if you don't want a plain build-your-own. Staff were friendly and quick, food came out hot, and the cat decorations make the place feel local instead of generic. Easy stop if you're driving the coast. Would recommend and would come back. read more

I've lived here nearly 7 years & this is the first time I've ordered from here & wont be my last. Delivery was sooner than quoted & hot. I haven't been inside the restaurant so know nothing about the ambiance. I'm usually a to go person. The pizza was excellent & there was a choice of crusts. Good selection of specialty pizzas. read more

I searched the area for deep dish AND anchovies. No one in this area has both. So I saw they have calzones, which is a pizza folded over on it's self, and they have anchovies so I gave it a shot. What I got: a pricey calzone that tasted burnt, could not taste the scrimpy amount of anchovies ($4 addition) read more

Said my name wrong and then said "what sort of name is that?" to his coworker, as if I wasn't standing right there. His coworker seemed like he died inside a little. Pizza was good though. read more

Fat Cat Pizza - Pizza - Pizza Near Me - Brookings, Oregon

After a long journey to reach the glorious Southern Oregon Coast, we were NOT ready to spend hours in the kitchen of our beautiful beach house to feed our hungry crew. That's where Fat Cat saved the day. A quick perusal of their diverse (feline-tilted) menu yielded perfect options. We went with a large basic cheese pizza for our simpler palates and a pepperoni and veggie combo for the our more refined diners. (They have many other options). We capped this off with an order of breadsticks and large quantities of extra marinara dipping sauce. Food for our masses was promptly delivered, reasonably priced and quite perfect for our needs the evening of our arrival. This was a great way for us to launch into an exceptional week visiting the coast. Thank you for the great pizza. Bless you for the prompt delivery. We'll be back next time we're in town! read more

Almost $30.00 for the x-large that tastes like a frozen pizza? Don't order this inept pizza. It's terrible and on par with wild rivers garbage pizza.. Get in your vehicle and drive to Gold Beach and go straight to Groundlings. read more

Food Fabulous! Employees are great, Service very good! Family friendly, just needs bigger tables.

Fat Cat Pizza is amazing! They delivered our Hawaiian pizza to Chetco Brewing Company for Thursday's Open Mic Night. The pizza was so good and they were 3 minutes early to deliver! They gave us plates, napkins, and sprinkles (parmesan cheese and spicy pepper) without us even asking. We will definitely order from them again! read more

King Cat pizza is great and the service was also great. Definitely the spot for some pizza when I'm here in Brookings.

We got two pizzas on gluten free crust, and let me tell you the gluten free crust is the best I've ever had. We ordered via phone to pick up which went very smoothly. It was a very cute little restaurant inside too though, and I wouldn't have minded eating in at all either. Lots of photoshopped cat decor which I appreciate instead of AI art. Our server was very kind and friendly as well. read more

I bought a take and bake lasagne for two and a salad one night when I didn't want to cook. I popped it into the oven and it all melted to nothingness. When I make a lasagne or buy a stouffers (both cheaper options) there is meat and cheese and layers and sauce. This was disappointing. Not again. read more

We were visiting from out of town. Was great pizza. Will ago again. Ate inside. Most people carried out.

I highly recommend anyone to stop here Got the King cat pizza and a cheese pizza . If anyone is passing and wants some great pizza from a hole in the wall this is it. read more

Super fast and very reasonably priced. The whole family loved it! Very tasty toppings, the crust was a little thinner than I typically like but it worked well. read more

My husband and I are huge pizza lovers and cat lovers. So when we were planning our elopement up on the coast, I saw the name of this place and said "That's where we are having our "wedding dinner"" probably should have looked at the place a little harder as I just imagined it was sit down and order kind of place... the pizza was great, just wish it had been more of a restaurant type setting so we could all sit together.. read more

Great service with friendly staff. Pizza crust was light and crispy; lots of toppings. Delicious!

This seems to be a mostly take out and delivery place. They have a few tables to sit down and eat. The prices were reasonable and the pizza was a good. The service was friendly. read more

Always great flavor and freshness! Services are quick. There is a little too much yeast at the bottom of the pizza, that's my only complaint. We go roughly twice a month. read more

What a great place for delicious pizza! (Don't bother with the other pizza place on the other side of the shopping center - choose Fat Cat Pizza always!) They were so nice at the counter, offered another topping when I asked for no bell peppers on the Momma Kitty, and had great customer service. It's more of a take-out spot, but there were 3 or 4 small booths to sit and eat (which is what we did). The cat decor was cute and fun to look at while we waited. Pizzas came out quick, and were really good! The little desserts available in the fridge case were so good! Next time we're in Brookings, we'll definitely be back. read more

Loved the vibes of the place, friendly service, delicious pizza :) very affordable too!

We ordered pizza to go and it was ok. We ordered a pepperoni and veggie. Both were pretty greasy. If I were in college and hung over, this pizza would be outstanding. Value wasn't bad. $45 for 2 large pizzas with a few modifications. Cheaper than Round Table for sure, but not near as good. I will say Fat Cat is far better than Wild River Pizza though. Staff was friendly and they were really quick to have the pizzas ready. Until Round Table comes to town your options are limited. read more

Was in town for a wedding and decided to try this place out. It's pretty good pizza. Good portion, good ingredients, delivery was right on time and the price was very fair. If I'm ever in Brookings again I'll definitely be eating here again. read more

Frozen pizza is better. Thin amount of toppings which weren't all that good . There wasn't anything hot about the hot the wings

Another great pizza from Fat Cat. They are the best in town. Wild River Pizza is too salty and cut in little squares, and expensive. Don't waste your time just order a Fat Cat pizza. I ordered the momma kitty this time and it was great. I haven't had a bad experience yet with them. I always have them cook it and I pick it up. read more

Pizza delivery was on time and they delivered to the outskirts of Brookings on the northside. All of the pizzas ordered were good. Nothing too special just perfectly good pizza! read more

I really have found a pizza that I can take home to cook that I like. I also like that they will cook onsite for a minor charge for those who need it. Then, to top it off... they deliver! Seems like the best of multiple worlds! Now, let's talk about their prices... we'll, that's something else that makes me happy... they're reasonably priced! I'm telling you, this is a win-win all the way around! read more

So good we got their pizza two times in two days. We had the chicken bacon ranch and the bbq chicken. Both delicious. They are take out only right now (March 2022), so we took our pizza to the beach. It was fabulous. read more

fat Cat Pizza Is close to me friendly people there especially the delivery guy. And there salads are wonderful.

We ordered a pizza for delivery on a night we didn't want to cook. The pizza was delivered a little earlier than anticipated, it was hot and fresh, the delivery person was very nice so we gave him a good tip. Salad was part of our order and it was fresh and crisp. Definitely would recommend this company, the pizza was Delish! I ordered the veggie pizza and it had a nice variety of toppings, I would order it again. read more

We ordered delivery and they did well keeping it within the quoted time frame. The delivery driver was really friendly! Our pizza was still hot when it got here and the ingredients seemed quite fresh. We ordered the chicken bacon ranch with regular crust and it was delicious!!!
