Hot take: Pittsburgh has terrible wings. Overcooked, rubbery, blah. Worse than every dive bar in buffalo. The Eastman has the best wings in PGH. Also brings beef on weck and pizza logs (pepperoni rolls ala egg roll wrappers). And still has top notch Christmas style tacos, braised meats, and pickled veg. Something for everybody.

The Eastman focuses on food with flavors/inspiration from New Mexico and Buffalo, NY. It sounds like an interesting and unique combination of flavors and it was for sure! We sat at the bar but there is ample seating in the space. I had a Bloody Mary and my friend had a beer. Drinks were okay! For our entrees, we split the chilaquiles and the breakfast burrito. The food was delicious and you can tell it is prepared with love and care. The chef even came out to talk to us while we were eating, which was so nice. It was really cool experience. Overall, we had a great time and I'd go back again to try some other menu items.

She had a little small talk with me and made me feel very welcomed. The food was delicious! I love to find a new breakfast diner and this one hits the spot. They also have brunch-type alcoholic drink options as well. I definitely will be back.

The lady ringing the register was very nice and helpful too. We wanted one of everything on the menu but somehow managed to reign it. Trust me, it was not easy with a menu like that. The smelly crackers were so addictive. We couldn't stop eating them. They're so flavorful. When we saw someone come visit on Instagram, it looked so amazing we came immediately. It was hard to choose if we should get the pizza since they actually have a wood fired oven on the truck or sandwiches. Sandwiches won out this time but we'll be back for the pizza. My husband is a plain Jane so the beef sandwich with au jus was perfect for him. He liked having the au jus on the side so he could control how much went on his sandwich. He loved how tender and flavorful the meat was. If I see short rib on a menu, nothing else matters. I must have it and have it I did. The short rib cheesesteak was to die for and was last meal worthy. It was so moist, tender and flavorful. The bread was really good too. The whole sandwich melted in my mouth. I loved the cremini mushrooms on it. They're my favorite. My mom had one too and loved it. They have an adorable little patio just done from Lolev which is so convenient. I love flowers and there were tons of flowers and thoughtful accents everywhere. I could have sat there all day and hung out. Desserts looked great so we got them to take home since we were so stuffed. The bombolonis tasted just like they did in Italy. They were fantastic. My husband loved his plain one. I loved mine filled with Nutella. They were phenomenal warmed up at home. We'll definitely be back to try the pizza and other sandwiches. I'm also telling all my friends and neighbors they must go try it. It's definitely one of Pittsburgh's best food trucks but actually restaurants.
