This company does not sell to the general public. You have to have a commercial account to purchase from them.

Fastenal rocks! They always have exactly what you're looking for. Even when it's a crazy hard to find piece.

They have provided all of the hinges, locks, drawer pulls, grills, cremones, & escutcheons for our home, & we continue to receive compliments from guests even years later. Of even greater note is the service they provide, & both Roxanne & Patrick could not be more professionally helpful, patient, caring, & gracious. Not to mention that for this high quality level of products, their prices are quite fair. And, whereas most companies once they have made "the sale," can't recall your name should you need help at a later time on an item already purchased, they are there to help, stand behind their products, their name, & their strong reputation in the business community. We continue to feel fortunate to have found them.

Ace Hardware - Outside in parking lot... yes this Ace Hardware delivers

Got a lot done today at Ace: kitchen knife sharpening, make backup copies of house keys, and picked…read moreup an online order for mason jars on sale. Ailien was so helpful and so sweet. She seems to be more senior (experienced) on the team because she definitely knew all the answers, like setting up the knife machine and finding my missing order and making it right. Ace has sooo much you can get here. I forgot you can buy grills, meat seasoning, picture hanging, gardening tools and so much more here. Next time I ought to budget way more time to meander and check out everything I need for my home and yard.

Location 4 stars: In the Porter Ranch Town Center's West end, in the former Toys R Us building…read more Plenty of free self parking on premises. Venue 4 stars: Large and modern. Well structured and offering a full selection of DIY and home and garden goods. They are not as builder/contractor oriented as say Home Depot or Lowes, but great for everyday needs. One great thing is that they are never busy. It is easy to get in and out quickly. Main reasons that I could see for the lack of crowds compared to other hardware superstores is the low turnout of contractors and the higher prices (discussed further down). Service 3 stars: I have always found this aspect of Ace Hardware hard to rate. Sometimes you walk in and there are smiling faces everywhere, greeting you and asking you if you need any help. Other times you will not find anyone to assist you and keep wandering the aisles. Overall service is better than Home Depot or Lowes but it could also be much better! Merchandise 3.5 stars: Again not as elaborate as Home Depot or Lowes, but good enough for a neighborhood hardware superstore when you need something quick. Convenience 4.5 stars: For me, they are the closest hardware superstore, about a mile away. Next closest are Lowes in Northridge (4.5 miles) and Home Depot in Canoga Park (7.5 miles). Not having to fight traffic, compete for parking spots, parking next to huge work trucks and getting dinged by them or the lumber carts, and not paying extra for gas is worth it, especially when I need something in a jiffy. Prices 2 stars: Generally much higher than Home Depot or Lowes. In one instance, a part that was $10.99 at Lowes, Home Depot AND Amazon, was $13.99 at Ace. This is 27% higher! Now every price may not be this much higher but as a general rule always expect to pay more for the convenience. The Bottom Line 4 stars: Convenience and lack of crowds wins it for me!

*DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS STORE*…read more It was just before closing time when I called Granada Hills Hardware and asked if they had a Delta shower faucet cartridge. The man on the phone told me he did, so I got there in time to buy it. When I got there, he opened the package further (as it was already opened) to compare the two- and he said it would work. It didn't. I went back to the store and told the owner that the one he sold me was incorrect. When I asked for a refund, he stated that "there was a part missing from the top." It was not missing anything. The model he sold me was slightly smaller in length and was the incorrect part number according to Lowe's (which did sell me the correct part). I told him it wasn't missing any parts, but he called me a liar. He saw the item was new and unused, proving him wrong. When that didn't work, he said he won't refund it because the package was opened. It was... by him. I watched him open it. He called me a liar again. I went to my bank and disputed the charges- and was told I'd be issued a refund, and Granada Hills Hardware will have the charges reversed. Nobody likes to be called a liar. It could've been real easy, but your pride got in the way when you didn't like to be proven wrong. Now, I get to keep the cartridge, and a refund of $59.12 through my bank... and you get to keep a 1 star yelp review. Was it worth it?

I love that they're a catch all! At check out I found dog treats, cbd, cards, soaps, etc. lots and lots of variety! I bought some of the most gorgeous coordinating large pots a few years back. They were so different, geometric. When we've come they've always had helpful staff. Their paint mixing guy is knowledgeable. Their staff in the garden section is as well. It's a very convenient store right off Ventura. And the size makes it much more navigable than Home Depot!

Sometimes I'll go to one of the more "convenient" home improvement chains, but 80% of the time after looking through aisles and aisles of cookie-cutter boxes of hardware designed for contractors I will come up empty handed and head over to Franklin's wondering why I didn't just start here. I have always, ALWAYS, found the hardware I need, no matter how obscure the screw, nut, or fitting, at Franklin. Tiny brass screws to fix an antique clock? They'll have it. "Euro" style screws that came with your cheap Ikea cabinet? They'll have it. A bushing for a kitchen appliance that is an odd size... they will have it. Additionally the folks who work here are super friendly and helpful! Another reason why anyone looking for anything a hardware store carries should start here. There is a small parking lot in the back, and metered parking on the street. They are an "Ace" hardware franchise so if you need to pick up an order from the Ace website this is a location that you can select (I've done this several times). They also do re-screening, and knife sharpening. It's truly one of the last remaining neighborhood hardware stores and I can't recommend it highly enough.
