Did I mention how much I love the Home Depot at Sherman Way and Lankershim in North Hollywood? So much better than Lowe's! Way better service and much better merchandise. They blow away IKEA. They have everything. Fantastic garden center too. I've got at least five plants from Home Depot and they are all thriving. Great rugs! Great things for your dog! Great fans and air-conditioning units. Great place to come and browse just to get good ideas for what upgrades you might want to do to your home. Again, did I mention how much I love this Home Depot? I love this Home Depot! Really easy and fair return policy too. It is wise to do a little online research ahead of time, so you have an idea of which aisle and bay your item might be hiding. But don't worry if you can't find it... The people at Home Depot will help you.

No identifying marks -- unless you knew where to look. The first woman dismissed me right away, saying they don't carry those parts. The man next to her took the part and went straight to his computer and searched it out. Found it. Amazing! He clearly knew what he was doing; she was clearly a DEI hire. Turns out they don't carry the part, but he found a place that does and printed out that information. Smart customer service. When I went exploring for a door, another store guy saw my lost look, guided me straight to the right aisle and was right on target, including suggestions. So I'm a big fan and would go back, being careful to avoid the DEI hires, of course.

It was a trailer ramp so i had to go in the back and pull a tag off the wall. Once we were sure there was inventory the checker called to someone to brink it. I finished paying and my item was there. Checker asked guy to help me out. Well the guy carried it out the door as i went to my vehicle. I looked back and he said, "back up" REALLY? he wanted me to back t up to him? I limped over 20' grabbed it and carried to my vehicle. What a worthless lazy employee. Harbor freight!!! This will burn into my memory what a shitty business you run.

Having managed residential properties for a long time now, this is definitely the place to go for condo or townhome replacement parts, as this place specializes in apartment-fixing hardware. Unlike Home Depot or Lowe's that's geared more towards home repair, the fixtures and parts here are more specialized for multi-family housing, so it's much easier to look for a faucet cartridge or garbage disposal.

I would have been shocked and surprised if this hardware store got anything but 5 stars on Yelp…read more Anawalt Lumber store is my go-to whenever I need to buy things that other hardware stores don't have. Employees are very helpful, attentive, nice, welcoming and very knowledgeable. They know where everything is. It has a vast selection of items that people need and everything has its own price. Some things are even on sale. Walked in yesterday at exactly 2pm and was helped by a lovely lady by the name of Isabelle. She wanted to know how she could have helped me? What was it that I needed? I told her that I needed few items for my house. After she listened to my requests, she literally walked me to all the aisles that carried what I needed. Needed a Dust Buster and they had 2 different kinds. A regular one (39.99), and more of an advanced one for ($59.99). A long broom, a Lavatory Strainer for a temporary fix until our plumber gets the actual part to come and fix my bathroom sink. Then I saw a Pop- Up Stopper. What it does is that it closes the hole in the sink for hair, food, residue, not to clog up the sink. We also needed a small bbq grill (4th of July being right around the corner). Got that too. A toolbox with all the right tools in them. Had Red and Black. Got red..one of my favorite colors. Every now and then, something breaks down and either myself or my son has to fix/repair them. Honestly this store has everything for your house, car, office needs. I also got some cleaning supplies for the house. 409, Lysol (pack of 2), and Tide. Store was nicely organized, clean and fully stocked. Aisles were very easy to navigate. Big parking lot and I believe restroom/S too. Didn't have to use them. Thank you Isabelle, Anwalt, and management for making my shopping experience easy, seamless and effortless. For all that I paid less than $160.00 including tax.
