Excellent business! The gentleman that helped me knew exactly how to figure out my specific plumbing issue immediately and sold me the part I was looking for at a great price. No one at DIY or Home Depot could help me! Wish I came to GH Hardware store sooner! read more

Really fantastic service. I asked about a million questions and the owners, Fred and Sabrina, were so patient and helpful. Please keep money in your community by supporting local businesses such as this one! Will be back with any future hardware needs read more

*DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS STORE* It was just before closing time when I called Granada Hills Hardware and asked if they had a Delta shower faucet cartridge. The man on the phone told me he did, so I got there in time to buy it. When I got there, he opened the package further (as it was already opened) to compare the two- and he said it would work. It didn't. I went back to the store and told the owner that the one he sold me was incorrect. When I asked for a refund, he stated that "there was a part missing from the top." It was not missing anything. The model he sold me was slightly smaller in length and was the incorrect part number according to Lowe's (which did sell me the correct part). I told him it wasn't missing any parts, but he called me a liar. He saw the item was new and unused, proving him wrong. When that didn't work, he said he won't refund it because the package was opened. It was... by him. I watched him open it. He called me a liar again. I went to my bank and disputed the charges- and was told I'd be issued a refund, and Granada Hills Hardware will have the charges reversed. Nobody likes to be called a liar. It could've been real easy, but your pride got in the way when you didn't like to be proven wrong. Now, I get to keep the cartridge, and a refund of $59.12 through my bank... and you get to keep a 1 star yelp review. Was it worth it? read more

Granada Hills Hardware Store - No piece was missing. Owner opened the package. - Hardware Stores Near Me - Granada Hills, California

Great local Hardware store. Great service and prices, good place to have nearby before going to a big brand.

I'm a total advocate for small business, but this hardware store is a true hidden gem in Granada Hills! Not only is the staff super friendly and helpful, they are so knowledgeable and stock hard to find items I wasn't able to find at the bigger nearby chains. Last year, I was in need of a main home valve regulator which Lowe's, Home Depot and DIY had on back order for 3+ months! These guys had it on hand! Today, I went for an ice maker water line and pvc Jim cap- BOOM, they had my sizes! I also learned today that they repair window screens and screen frames. Needless to say, I'll be back this afternoon! Friendly, neighborhood store with competitive (prob less expensive) than the big chains. And plus, they'll most likely have what you need! I truly recommend this store for all your DIY needs! read more

Went in for some keys today. Friendly, courteous, timely service. I bought some other stuff and will be bringing in some screens that were mangled by potential burglars, (vacant house). It's so nice to have a small private hardware store in the neighborhood just like the old times. Don't expect them to have everything that you need. They are a small place. But if you would like these kinds of establishments to offer alternatives to the HDs of the world, you need to support them. read more

This hidden little hardware store was such a great find....They staff (Owners?) were so helpful and oddly they had exactly what I needed that none of the big box stores had in stock. This is really a nice little gem for a quick stop. Parking was easy and its small but packed full of DIY and hardware items. read more

They have a little of everything. I've never come short. Without the long lines or overcrowdedness. Owner is also kind and helpful. Prices are very reasonable. read more

Great Little hidden Gem, especially if you need to pick up something quick instead of going to a big hardware store. Support small businesses read more

Nice, quick and easy. The owners are very helpful and I love helping out a locally owned business. The savings of time over the larger stores makes it worth it. read more

Love this little hardware store! Nice friendly helpful good prices! Good inventory! Many choices and household products l! I will be back ! read more

A real, old fashioned hardware store. Bolts and screws in little drawers. Not just a bunch of clamshell packages.

Lol, the guy working here literally went and wrote a new price with a sharpie on the item he saw i was taking. I was going to need about 10+ when he saw that he automatically went and raised the price read more

This is a little gem of a hardware store right across Devonshire from the Smart and Final near Devonshire and Woodley. It is a small store. The people who were there running it were Sabera and Fred. They were very knowledgeable. Fred knew about hinges and helped me find the exact hinge I needed, that I had been unable to find at Home Depot or DIY. They also had a shower door sweep that I had looked for everywhere with no success. I told them that I would be a regular customer. I hope people go there because I don't want the big hardware stores to drive them out of business. read more

The owner is very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. We were in and out in less than 10 minutes. It was super nice to have someone who knows their stuff and is willing to help. read more

Love this place. Just like the little family hardware store you went to as a kid. They have tons of stuff for your daily projects.

These are the small businesses we should be supporting. Not only do they have so many items but comparable prices to Home Depot and Lowe's. The staff is knowledgeable and has always been so incredibly helpful. Will continue shopping there as much as possible. read more

Not very easy to get to, prices are way too high, their selection isnt great either. In a pitch they dont have what you think a hardware store should have. read more

I really love having this store in my neighborhood. I was disappointed when the Ace hardware store closed down on Sepulveda, some time ago and really dislike the larger stores who despite being larger have no employees and poor customer service and the check out lines are a joke.. Even though their prices have gone up because of covid I don't mind supporting a local business, it's family owned, they are very helpful. They have a very pretty much what you need if your working on a DIY project at home, one thing to keep in mind the husband is only one person and you cannot expect him to know everything but he is very knowledgeable and will point you in the right direction. if anything he probably know more than those who work at the larger stores. At the larger stores if you have a question they can only answer what's in their department, the same person won't answer all your questions. It's not fair when I see a comment and they say he doesn't know everything, I had questions about plumbing, electrical and paint and needed to speak to 3 different people at home depot to get my answers, and each time I had to wait 5 to 10 mins for them to show up. So please be mindful about what you speak of and not so quick to pass judgement or leave a negative comment. Please continue to support our local businesses. Respectfully, JC read more

Convenience in our neighborhood. While the store is small, it has a little bit of everything. I've gone in on three occasions. I was able to find mortar, sprinkler parts, and drill attachments. I would much rather go into this business, than one of the huge hardware stores for everyday needs. Great service and you can support a small business. read more

So great to have a neighborhood Hardware store again, so convenient. Very helpful solutions to my small projects. Went this morning and was home in 1/2 the time it would have taken me to get to a big box store, and I had picked up everything I needed. Owner is so helpful and friendly, and he'll have my business and support from now on. read more

I know I'm repeating what others have said but it IS terrific to have a hardware store (again!) right in our neighborhood. Friendly and knowledgeable folks who take the time to help. Before you drive all those miles to the big box store give them a try... I did, and I'm happy with my results. read more

I just visited for the first time. So glad to have a "Mom and Pop" hardware store in the area again. It's small but they have a very good selection of home repair items. Nice to not have to go to a big box store for everything. We need to support this local business, especially after Osh closed. read more

The owner is very nice and helpful. 9/10 times his products were fine. The only problem I had was getting areplacement for a pull tab I was missing when I put new screen mesh on. The missing tab was metal, but all he had were plastic/Chinese replacements which didn't work at all. Overall, I like this place as I don't going to DIY is out of the way and time consuming. We should give him buisness so that his store doesn't disappear like the three small Empire Hardware stores that have closed down in the 38 years I've lived in Granada Hills. read more

Love that they wear masks. Found booties and disposable masks today. They have plenty! So sorry that they have to deal with the a holes who don't respect the mask mandate. In any case, the people who work there are all friendly and lovely and extremely helpful. read more

Small place but very helpful staff. They carrry a lot of the little things that big hardware store keep in stock

This hardware store is so nearby and convenient. They always surprise me because they always have the parts we need. The owners are super sweet and always willing to help when you have a question. For being such a small shop they really do keep stocked up on all their supplies. I was impressed because we bought all their drip feeds last week and they already had new ones for us to buy this week. Highly recommend if you don't want to drive far to Home Depot. read more

I just "found" this place. It is packed with everything I'll likely ever need. If not they said they could order items. However, due to the coronavirus pandemic deliveries of some items have become unpredictable. The store is well organized, well laid out, and items are easy to find. The people running the store and friendly and helpful as well. I found what I was looking for and I'll be back. read more

Very happy to know this hardware store is here. I've been here twice now a very nice store. I had my sliding screen door rescreened and a couple of the window screens. reasonably priced. Thanks, Fred read more
