I've done 3 passport projects with David at fast passport center over the years and I've referred a lot of friends to him. All of the passport projects I have done have been stressful but David gets the job done every time. I learned from my own mistakes on how to make the process go smoother and that's basically to follow his clear instructions and not try to complicate anything. I recently got a passport renewal and a passport for a 1 year old that I needed within 14 days of travel. When I was at the local passport office trying to get my newborn application sealed, the agent there tried to say my check amount was wrong. I called David randomly, he answered and he politely put her in her place and educated her on the fees. The man is a magician. Went online and found Free Passport Center!! Filled out some online information, and was both called, and emailed, a return overnight paid FedEx label. Paid a fee, sent in my paperwork, new pics, old passport, and had my new passport with time to spare! Can't say enough good things on that!! read more

After 1.5 months of following up with David we never received our passport. Our trip was ruined. After we paid him, we could hardly ever get a hold of him terrible communication and experience. There is a chance he'll follow through on his promise, but there's also a good chance he won't. So if you choose this company be ready to be disappointed. We sent in our paper work 1.5 months before our trip, David said he would get us a passport in 2 weeks. We followed up with him every week, the times we were able to get ahold of him. He reassured us that it would be in our hands before our trip. At the last hour, 3 days prior to our trip he calls with bad news, something unexpected happened, it was out of his control he said but no clear explanation was given. No apologies were offered. Fastpassportcenter.com does not review applications in-detail and ensure they're going to clear requirements. Additionally, they are very difficult to get a hold of. Phone conversation are near impossible; they force you to e-mail the contact person, which I believe is the owner. I purchased the 6-8 day service and I went into over 5 weeks (25 business days) before I got my passport back. While I appreciate the owner/business honoring the price from a month ago as it went up $100; regardless, the fee should be connected to promised days. I can understand plus/minus 1 week extra, but more than 3 weeks is excessive. I ended up missing my trip plans abroad as a result. Per the letter the passport agency sent that David received a copy of as well, their issue was application needed to be printed by ink (pen, black ink) and not typed. He had seen this, but David argued with me this was not the problem when he had the cover page of reason from the agency I provided him! He realized the case was going south. He didn't offer to pay for rush mailing service of the form; all he did was offer to submit it on my behalf, which is worthless as it's the same I can do on my end. Anyhow, when I sent them the application, I received the passport in two days. Why in the hell did David not catch this when receiving the package over 5 weeks ago? Maybe this review may teach a lesson about this. It's best to take a day off and visit passport center yourself if you're within 14 days of travel (call and make appointment, first) and then save yourself about $400 and a headache. Alternatively, plant 3 months ahead and apply regularly, yourself. There is no excuse for this delay and process. Update response to David: it's unfortunate how you place blame on everyone but your shortcomings, especially after you shared on the phone (the one time we spoke out of many attempts) that the application was not signed, but you've failed to see the written rhetoric from the agency about an ink filled application was requested! I trust you will consider taking responsibility to do your part and not wait for weeks to go by and then change tunes. This is not the first complaint about your business on here and I suggest as I suggested to you during the only time we spoke, to avoid placing blame and focus on what you're paid to do in that ensuring everything is complete and delivered and you communicate...not await a review to reply. The constructive criticism is intended to help and not hurt, unless FastPassport is not being honest/truthful and having their hard called. From a consumer's standpoint, to each is their own, but while I never like to expend the time to write a review, it's necessary to avoid the stress and not to mention the payment for the stress. In all of this, I never asked for my money back since the timeline to get a passport was over 5 weeks when it was to be 6-8 days. I suggest you pay closer attention to documents you receive and cross-check. If you claim something does not appear right, you ask for the correction and not await over 5 weeks to pass by where your customer misses their trip. The salient question is this: Why do you not follow-up with the agency after the 6-8 days are up? When I contacted you days after, you stated nothing they said about application not being in ink and noted it's going to be done "this Friday or early next week," which was some 2-3 weeks ago. I'm a college student and my school offered a travel abroad program to Guatemala for this summer. I realized that the cost of the trip was too expensive. The airline ticket and the cost of my passport was not included in the price. However, I came across a scholarship that covered the whole cost of the trip! I was blessed to get it, so I just had to worry about paying for my plane ticket and handling my expenses for the passport. I immediately bought my airline ticket, so the next step was getting my passport. Of course, I waited until last minute because I was unsure if I was going to Guatemala. I had to find ways where I could get my passport in under 3 weeks. I searched fast passport services online and honestly, this company offered the cheapest services compared to others. Since I needed my passport in under 3 weeks, I decided to do the rush service (8-10 business days) and it was $65 (their expedited service) + $40 (Fedex shipping label). The grand total was $105. That's not bad at all. This price did not include the $170 fee for the government, so be careful about that. After I paid the $105 on their website, they have sent me a detailed checklist to my email address of what I need to put in my sealed envelope before I sent it off to their office. I had to go to passport acceptance clerk (the post office was where I went to) and prepare my envelope that included my birth certificate, proof of itinerary, DS-11 application with 2x2 photo, $170 money order for the government (or you can do a check), etc. (everything you need is listed on the checklist). When everything was finalized, the clerk gave me back my envelope and I dropped it off to Fedex (because in the email, you need to print out the pre-paid shipping label from them). The steps from the checklist were extremely easy! After waiting about nine days, I received my passport today!!! Fast Passport Center is super reliable. I highly recommend this company if you need your passport fast! Thank you guys for everything!!!! Now, I'll be leaving to Guatemala next week for a whole month! Yay!!!! We discovered a couple weeks before our trip, that my passport was missing. We were desperate and reached out to Fast Passport Center. Not really believing that we would be able to get my passport in time. But David made the whole process so much less stressful and of course we got my passport in time. First off let me assure you that this kind of service is legitimate as was explained to me at the Buffalo, NY Passport Agency, so "yes" fastpassport is a confirmed 3rd party courier service to assist you in a last minute passport renewal or first time issuance. Long story short the wife booked a cruise several months in advance my official passport had long since been expired, and I've never applied for a regular tourist passport and of course I procrastinated on doing it until just shy of 14 days prior to departure. In an act of desperation I begin to see several different offerings from 3rd party couriers such as Fastpassport that could get results within days at a cost. Fastpassport was by far the cheapest Legalpassport (stay away from $$$$). In a crunch I paid fastpassport worked with David Donovan who provided all the details even sent me a list of Passport agents (local USPS), but the issue I ran into was that they were all by appointment only and none of which could accommodate me in time for my trip. I ended up booking an appointment with the passport agency in Buffalo, NY and getting my passport that day. Since services were not rendered by fastpassport I figured what's the harm in asking for a "refund". I reached out to David who promptly replied that he'd look into it, and it has been crickets ever since. Bottom line up front this company is legit however they can't put a guarantee on the turn-around, and the moment you pay their fees you have exactly 24hrs to cancel after that no refund regardless which in my case is a travesty since I never ended up using them but they lined their pockets. My only advice to the person reading this review save your money, have a passport agent verify your paperwork, and make an appointment with a passport agency yourself. If your travel is within 14 days you'll get your passport same day. My recommendation for fastpassport is simple I get the service you provide however I think your company would be even more beneficial if you had Passport Agents on staff as opposed to clients having to search for an appointment with the local county clerk or Post Office. read more

Our family would be on vacation trip within 3 weeks, and I realized my passport would be expired in 1 week. I tried to contact many different places, but no one could guarantee that I could get my PP renewal on time. I found this company through my search online and decided to give it a try. I was a little nervous as the reviews were not that excellent, but I had no choice. Called David and he quickly responded and guided me through the process. He said it would be done within 2 weeks. I had to pay almost $800 for this service and expected that I would get my new PP within 2 weeks for my family trip. 2 weeks gone by and I had not received my PP. I used fast passport express service $85, I mailed my info on Feb 21 and got a notification of their receipt on Feb 26. It is now March 11 and we were scheduled to depart for our destination today and still NO PASSPORT OR NOTIFICATION. I have had to cancel the trip so I could still get a refund on the resort but still lost $400 on airfare cancellation. I was never contacted by a company representative. Everything started out ok...we sent request and payment of $185 for 2 passport renewals through their company website which advertises (3-4 Business Day Processing (Priority Service):$185). The next day we received an email from David J Donovan, Passport & Visa Manager. He stated we would have to send them an "upgrade fee" of $200 each. Here is the quoted email "we would need to charge you a $200 per person upgrade fee. That's because we have been limited to only two spots a day." OKAY if this IS the truth then why is it not shown anywhere on their website about the new limits?? Trying to understand that this was needed I went ahead and paid the extra $414 for both passports (he told me the other $14 was for expedited shipping). This was all done and paid for on 8/23/2021. We had to send our Itinerary to them to show our travel dates which showed we needed to leave at 8am on 9/8/2021. This left 10 BUSINESS DAYS (not counting Sat, Sunday and the Labor day Holiday) to get our passports. Please keep in mind at that point we had paid $385 per passport renewal which is more than their website advertises to get your passport back in 1-2 days (1 Business Day Processing (Emergency Service):$295) is what is shown on their website. That fee DOES NOT contain the government fee of $170 per passport which we were advised to pay separately by check to the government. So we paid fast Passport Center $814 and we still did not get our passports in time. They arrived 2 days after our Itinerary date of the 7th. We had to cancel our trip and take credits from the airline and the resort that have to be used by December 2021. I have written emails and called David to ask for just the extra $400 that we paid as the "upgrade" to make sure we got our passports in time. I told him we thought this was at least fair considering we paid way more than they advertise and since we DID NOT get the passports in time. I also checked and NONE of our documents that were requested were filled out wrong and at no time during this process was our request flagged or slowed down for any reason. We were very nervous to trust this company with our important documents, but this was our experience trying to get my wife's name changed after our marriage and also get her passport renewed. The Bad: ordered the 5-7 business day (processing) service. Purchased on March 24th Was given final instructions with shipping label March 25th and had it sent out the same day. They received all documents and forms on March 26th. From this point there was no follow-up until March 29 when I emailed David. David is very responsive and helpful but was told "it was due out midweek next week" April 3rd is now here and I'm wondering what's going on. I was told that because our trip wasn't until the end of the month our application wasn't being taken. April 4 David responds saying we can file an addendum to say we need a visa to get around this issue. Did this and emailed it over the same day. Passport wasn't submitted to the Passport agency until Wednesday the 10th (only found out by contacting the passport agency) The passport was released on April 11th and was sent "2day weekday delivery by Fed ex" Didn't receive everything back until the 15th of April. By my count and their website description (when they receive the package the processing time starts) thats 14 business days. Double the expected time and thank god we filled everything out correctly. Fast Passport Center, on their website, "guarantees to process your passport application within your requested service time frame." The service I received was far from that. I requested to expedite a lost passport on April 16, 2018 for a business trip I was taking overseas. I paid $185.00 for a 3-4 business day processing window. Due to the tight turnaround as my trip was to begin on May 13, I paid an additional $90.00 on April 30 for a 1 day turn-around. On May 2, I was told that my application was processing, which should have resulted in delivery no later than May 4. Between May 2 and May 7 I followed up daily with Fast Passport Center for updates, only to be told that there was a delay and that they would give me updates when available. I was refunded $50 for the inconvenience but was still kept in the dark on the status of my passport. Between May 7 and May 11, I emailed and called daily and was given the same "no update response." On May 11, two days before my trip, David Donovan finally gave me an update that there was an error on my application and that I would have to refile all documents. Not believing that to be true, I spoke with the Philadelphia Passport Agency (a government entity) and was told that the only issue with my application was that it was turned in more than 5 days after the dated signature on my forms; meaning that Fast Passport Center and David Donovan never turned in my forms until it was too late. I eventually had to drive 2 hours from my home to another government Passport Agency to completely refile my documents, rendering Fast Passport Center's services and my $225.00 payment unnecessary. This is by far the worst, unprofessional, and most unresponsive business I've ever dealt with on God's green Earth. I placed an order to have my passport expedited within a week back in March of 2020, it is now going on November. You can never get ahold of Donovan or their mainline, they misplaced my package I had followed the instructions they provided and shipped to them, which contains my one and only copy of my birth certificate 2 passport photos and a $200 check. I've still haven't gotten in contact with anyone and am demanding a refund, I understand it's Covid but 8 month long wait that's longer than if I did it the original way. I would not recommend you guys use this service I've never been treated so poorly by a business. Amazing! David and his services was stellar. Unfortunately we were not aware of the 6 month expiration requirement regarding children's passports. We found out on a Monday about the 6 month expiration requirement and our flight was scheduled for Thursday. We scrambled to get our docs in order (including new photos; getting post office to seal the docs) and get them overnight to David by Tuesday. Unfortunately the courier missed the morning cutoff to get it processed on Tuesday so we can have it back to us by Wednesday. However, David reassured we would have it by Thursday morning. Our flight was Thursday at 1:35pm. David was able to Fedex it to us and we received it by 9:30am Thursday morning on the way to the airport and made our trip! Talking about cutting it close. This would not have been possible without David's services. It was worth every penny we spent to get this done, otherwise we would have had to cancel our trip which would have cost way more than the price of David's services. We can't thank him enough. We were very unsure and worried about this whole process and timing but we had to trust and believe it would all work out and thank God it did! Terrible experience. The company cannot deliver what their website promises. I called the company 3 times before paying for a passport renewal seeking to confirm they were able to get me what I needed, and each time it went straight to voicemail and my call was not returned. I then paid $125 for a passport renewal within 8-12 business days, which is one of the options listed on the website. Several hours after paying, I get a call from the owner, David, saying that in order for them to get my passport renewed within that time, I will need to pay another $200. What?? He claims that there is a new regulation that came out a few days ago that changes the passport renewal times. I ask him to send me a copy of the new regulation and he refuses. He says his website is not current but that he will update it to accurately reflect the current options. As of today, the website has not been changed at all. Also, as I'm talking to David and requesting a refund, my credit card is charged AGAIN for another $125. David refused to take any responsibility for his misleading website, and acted like it was no big deal that I wasted most of the day expecting this. He has now refunded one of the two charges but not the other. Make sure to check your credit card payments closely because it appears that other people have been charged twice by this company. Hey Folks, I was stressing about leaving for Germany on a trip for work. I thought I was covered when my travel group said I needed a renewal on my passport because I was 5 months from expiration. I recently used fast passport to get new passport - bad experience and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. First off bad attitude that i received from one of the agent - David Donovan. He had this unappealing attitude when he talks through phone. I was frustrated because i was flying out in few days and tried to follow up. He doesn't respond to my email but does to my calls. In which he handled my calls in a very disrespect way. Secondly, he told me to use 3-4 business day process and i paid more. At the end, it didn't matter, i got my passport in 10days. He suggested to pick 3-4 processing day just so i pay more. I sent my docs on Monday May 13th through fedex, they got it on the 14th. Though he assured me that i will get the passport by Friday of same week, i got my passport Wednesday of the following week. Although he knew the passport was not scheduled for that Friday for pickup, he told me his guy is on the way to pick it up. I knew that because i also called travel state and followed up on the status. The actual schedule date was for Tuesday afternoon. He went ahead and lied about it anyway. He told me for Monday, then finally for Tuesday - of course with that evil attitude. He could have simply told me the truth and said it won't be ready until Tuesday. It was frustrating when he just delaying it by a day and got closer to my trip date. I was losing hope that it will make it on time. If you have a trip planned in few days, please make sure you contact travel state, schedule appointment, have all the required docs, and go yourself. Thank Goodness for Fast Passport Center!! Just a few days before leaving on an international vacation I noticed my passport had just expired. I was mortified at my oversight and afraid that all the money we had just spent on flights and accommodations was to be wasted, never mind disappointing my husband. Praying for a miracle I went online and was excited to find that Fast Passport Center was able to help me. Yay!!!!! With fingers crossed I filled out the paperwork, gathered the materials and had my package shipped off to them the following day. My only reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that there were 2-3 times when I was anticipating an email or return phone call and after a couple hours of not hearing back I had to call them. THIS COMPANY STEALS FROM YOU! I had a death in the family and had to cancel my trip. My mother had passed and I needed to be with the family during this time. This company refused to refund me all of my money stating that it was in the documents that I had signed that they didnt have to give it back to me. Don't expect them to keep you in the Loop, return calls, emails, or text messages once they get your money, as they are too busy trying to get the next dollar from those in need of obtaining a Passport. Here we go, First, I would like to express my reservation and skepticism with most online type services, especially a service such as expedited passports (which I have never used). I must confess I am a Fraud Detective for a large Law Enforcement agency and I deal with SCAMS all the time! I did my research and found 6-8 reviews on BBB on Fast Passport Center (www.FastPassportCenter.com) and most reviews were positive. So, I decided I would call the number and get a feel for who I was dealing with. I called 877-523-0084 and a gentleman answered named David. I spoke with David for 10 minutes expressing my concerns and needing multiple questions answered, which he did and I felt very good about doing business with this company. David spent the time to explain the entire process and what the services he could offer and how important it was to him and his staff to be successful. So, I took the plunge signed up on line and waited for the email instructions David said would be there shortly. The email arrived just as promised and it had a step by step checklist and SIMPLE instructions to follow to make the paperwork process correct. I followed each step for myself and wife's passport and did exactly as David stated with the paperwork to ensure a better success rate. It was simple. It was clear. It was detailed. It was made easy. I finished the instructions and sent my packet by FedEx (part of the fees) on Monday at 4:30 pm was given a tracking order and informed it was a first stop and first priority and would arrive at the destination at 830 am Tuesday. It did just as they promised and the courier (part of the fee) picked up our package and started the process of getting it to the US Department of State. Now I want you to keep in mind up until this part of the process I have described to this point I called David and his staff at least 5-10 times to make myself feel better, I was doing it right and each time no matter what my call was answered, my questions were answered and I was ensured they had it under control and would take care of my concern. GREAT COUSTMER SERVICE TO THIS POINT! Okay so there's our packet with the courier and now it's at the Department of State (I got a text from someone keeping me updated) that it had been submitted and I would get updates when they knew more. To say I was nervous and anxious, just as you are for being behind the 8 ball is an understatement. But I waited and was called around 330 (less than 24 hours after I sent my package FedEx) the PASSPORTS HAD BEEN APPROVED and were going to be FedEx back to me. After this call I was so excited and grateful for the service I had received from this GREAT company. Well it didn't stop there I got an email a few minutes later with the tracking number of the return of my passports. Along with a nice message from David and appreciation for using the company. I got my wife's and my passport on Wednesday at 1030 am just as described by David. So, to sum it up; exceptional customer service.... check, knowledge and experience.... check, services just as promised with no BS.... check and with all my reservation and skepticism as early described, THIS IS A LEGITAMATE BUISNESS which is truly concerned about getting you what you paid for and helping procrastinators or emergency situations with a real useful service. Worst company ever to deal with. Do not use them. I had cancelled my order and was told I would get my $350 refund immediately. Two months and several phone calls and emails later, no refund. These guys are crooks and a waste of time. I am now reverting to legal means to recover the $350, along with legal fees and whatever else I can get them to pay, to teach them a lesson. I was pretty skeptical at first not gonna lie, but I had no other choice other than to get my passport expedited through this company and it went well actually! I got my passport in the promised time. The costumer service wasn't great though, after I had already sent all my documents in no one was answering any of my calls or emails so I started to get a little worried ... but then my passport arrived and everything worked out for the best so 8/10 would recommend. read more

AWFUL! STAY AWAY! They don't answer their phones. I think its just a one man company and works at HIS schedule. I tried to cancel the service since I could not reach anyone after hours and 4 messages. I ended up with another service who has real people and is a real company. After making my purchase, I was told when making the purchase that I would be contacted by a representative to notify me on how to proceed with the next steps. No one contacted me in the appropriate time frame which I would think is a week. I made my purchase on May 31, 2019. I then sent an email to follow up with when I was going to receive more information and there was no response. I sent an email again to ask for a refund... no response. I called to speak with a representative over the phone and left a voicemail with my contact information and have not received a call. Called today and all their "reps" are busy. All it does is revert to a voicemail to leave your contact info. It will almost be one month with zero contact and I had to go to the passport agency myself and spend 200.00 which was better because I received it that same day. Now I am out 125.00 and still waiting for this ghost representative to respond to my request. Not sure what kind of service they have in here but in my job, communication with clients is key. I am still waiting for my refund since I did not receive the service I paid for. read more

Terrible - borderline fraudulent. I paid for 3-4 day turnaround, and there was excuse after excuse after excuse as to why it would be late... I ended up having to go to the passport office myself the DAY before I was supposed to travel, as I had not received the passport 9 days after sending everything in... I asked for the 3-5 day, and from start to finish they came through. he was always available to help. I needed my passport within one week, federal expessed the info David needed to Philadelphia, and got my passport back within 5 days, Saturday delivery (by fed exp) My daughter and I are in the legal field, and we were so impressed with professionalism, detail, and efficiency of this business. Recently, I had a double surprise - first that I had an international business trip scheduled in under a week and second that my passport was set to expire during the that trip. I was very hesitant to provide my secure information on-line and found no other options. I compared on-line providers and Fast Passport Center offered the service I needed at the most reasonable price. I contacted David and within minutes he had me the paperwork I needed to expedite my passport renewal.
