I cannot speak to the entire organization of TravelVisa Pro, because we have been dealing primarily with one person. So it is important to note that SHE gets five stars, and TravelVisa Pro is fortunate to have her around. The agent our hiring company initially assigned to us was busy one afternoon, so the receptionist (fortunately) put us through to an available agent, Christen Werner. She was so attentive, thorough, and immediate with her responses that my wife and I have dealt solely with her since then. Christen has been patient as we have been awaiting documents from various agents but yet has sent everything that has come across her desk immediately to the relevant visa issuing authorities at the Saudi Embassy. She has kept us up to date with each development in the process, even as some parties have (such as the registrar of my wife's alma matter ) submitted incorrect documentation and we had to wait for another set to be sent. My wife and I have taught overseas for over six years and the most frustrating thing is navigating multiple bureaucracies while having minimal feedback while your future is being held in the hands of strangers. Travel Visa Pro has been a breath of fresh air during this process that would otherwise be so frustrating. It will be a year before our family and friends see us again and we have enjoyed spending time with them in a mental state of peace. It is well worth the cost to not only have the visa process expedited but to have the peace and presence of mind in the last few weeks at home before you say goodbye for another year. read more

***AVOID USING THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. "CONCIERGE" PROMISES NOT MET AND NO FULL REFUND. IT WILL BE CHEAPER AND FASTER FOR YOU TO JUST GO TO THE CONSULATE YOURSELF.*** This was my first time using Travel Visa Pro. I decided to give it a shot because I had a last minute business trip come up that required me getting my China visa. I had about 30 days to do it. When I put in my application, and paid extra for the "concierge services," my agent John Sisson told me I could expect around a 2 week turn around. He also gave me a list of documents to submit, which I did. I should also note, HE insisted I sent my expired Taiwanese passport, which I (and even the resolutions manager, Ruta, who admitted it to me over the phone) believed messed up my entire application. After the 2nd week mark, I started getting multiple strange requests for more and more documentation. This included a "statement" for 1) a "travel" document 2) "name change," which I've never had... 3) AND THEN, John came back and said they also wanted my birth certificate AND copies of both my parents' passports. This was ludicrous - all my Taiwanese American friends, along with my Taiwanese dad who has done visas for my family - never encountered this. They were all stunned that this was happening. The core problem is that I'm estranged from my biological mom's side of the family. I've also never had a birth certificate since I've kept a US passport all my life for I-9 employment, travel, identity verification, etc., and never had the need a birth cert. Never mind that it would be IMPOSSIBLE for me to get a copy of my biological mom's passport (assuming she even has one, or is still alive), I came to find after placing an order for a birth cert with California that it could take up to 14 weeks or more to receive. Since I couldn't afford to wait 14 weeks, I told Lester Sisson my situation. His response was basically, "Well, too bad, that's what the consulate wants." Then I told him and John I needed a refund since their service caused me to cancel my trip. After having to follow up a few times, they put me in contact with Ruta Stankus, the resolutions manager. I discussed everything with Ruta, and how upset I was about this whole situation. And that's where she told ME that she agreed we never should have sent the consulate my expired Taiwanese passport. She (and Lester, in writing - **see attached photo**) also said that recently, Travel Visa Pro has had lots of issues recently with getting dual Taiwanese-American citizens their China visas. She told me over the phone that she would get my passports back, along with a full refund. I did get my passports back, but they refunded me "the consulate fee" and "10% of the service fee." I asked them for a full refund, but Ruta basically blamed it on me and said YOU withdrew your application, so basically it's your fault. Needless to say, I am REALLY upset. I paid for "concierge" services and because of THEIR delays and incompetence, I had to cancel an overseas business trip. My bigger concern is, if Lester and Ruta are telling me they're KNOWINGLY seeing China visa delays with dual citizens "all the time," THEN WHY WAS I NOT WARNED BEFOREHAND THAT IT COULD TAKE LONGER THAN 2 WEEKS? It's as if they were surprised that it did, and then when it did, and I subsequently had to cancel my trip, and then withdrew my application, they blamed it on me for not just waiting another 14 weeks to maybe hopefully get my birth certificate. Who knows if I would have gotten random mysterious requests for more documentation and that a birth certificate, 14 weeks from now, would even settle it? So, I've wasted one month, had to cancel/rearrange a bunch of my business plans, and pay for the agency's dishonesty/incompetence with the turn around time. They also stopped responding to my emails asking for a refund. DO NOT USE AT ALL COSTS. THEY WOULD RATHER STEAL YOUR $400 THAN PAY FOR THEIR OWN FAILED SERVICE. I only used them to save myself a trip from having to fly to the consulate myself, but now it would have been faster and cheaper to have just done it myself. read more

I recently used Travel Visa Pro to obtain a business visa to China. While I never stepped foot in their establishment, I corresponded with them via e-mail and live chat and submitted my materials via USPS. The end result was all I wanted. The cost was affordable, especially along with the Yelp coupon. Their timeline was accurate: from the day they received my application to the time it was on its way back to me was within the 8 day range, and that even with a snow storm closing their doors one of those days. My biggest complaint was the communication. I had expected updates from their office throughout the process and received not one. Fortunately, I was able to contact various representatives through their website live chat and receive the information I needed (is my application all in order? anything missing? has my application been submitted to the embassy? has the visa been processed?). While I was able to get the information I needed, I expected e-mail updates. I later confirmed that this was indeed the practice AND that my e-mail address had been correctly delivered in my information to them. Thus, due to either some glitch or a typo, this was not the case in my situation. Excellent service on a slightly difficult visa process for family residency in Saudi Arabia. Straightforward answers and top notch customer service. Previously I had nightmare service from another agency (see my other review) and inconsistent and incorrect answers from other agencies with which I inquired (one of them even tried to charge me $500 for an unnecessary document authentication). Disappointing services. Their website does not have the correct nor updated information. When you call their customer service number, the staff is inexperienced and gives contradictory information. This will result in sensitive documents travelling around the U.S. for days. When they finally process your visa request, it will be outside of the advertised time. This is my first review but I feel rather strongly about this. I have had a terribly hard time in the past trying to get a China visa, we are talking nightmare sort of situations. So this place was recommended to me by someone who previously has used them. With such a stunning review from a friend I had no problem paying to have someone go through the hassle while I just dealt with the paperwork. I ended up having many headaches from this place- I got phone called asking for different paperwork from what they requested on the website that I have NEVER needed for this type of visa, and then many other calls AFTER that requesting MORE different paperwork. I was understanding the first time- maybe something had changed since they posted it online, but after that I was incredibly frustrated. If there was more paperwork needed please tell me all in one phone call so I can actually have this done in time! After not hearing from them for two weeks (!!!!) I called to ask where exactly my passport was and how long it would take to get back to me roughly seeing as I am traveling incredibly soon. I was told 'It's done when it's done" and promptly hung up on. I just received my passport today when I sent it in at the end of September. Thank god I knew to just in case give them extra time. They assured me they tried their best that's why i am giving them 3 stars but at the end of the day the embassy rejected my application twice leaving me with no visa. I didn't get any reason of rejection nor and tracking number of application. Basically just sent in my passport and got it back after couple weeks with no visa And they don't offer refunds so before you spend top dollar PLEASE know you are not guaranteed a visa because it solely relies on the embassy. I worked with Min, got a quote from him, agreed and called to clarify a few questions on authentication of documents for a Chinese visa. He was rude and dismissive on the phone and asked me to call later. Afterwards he wouldn't take my calls or answer my emails. Even beforehand, his promises were quite sketchy and didn't match so what more reputable visa agencies said the process should be. So he's either unprofessional or worse. read more

When I was looking for an expediter I called seven companies. All of the others explained to me that they were a glorified courier service. I have had to go through the Washington D.C. company twice to get my work visa for Saudi Arabia. The first time they were so slow that I ended up having all my paperwork sent back to me wasting the time and postage spent, and getting my visa a different way. The second time the person, Christine I believe, working on my file failed to tell me that their instructions posted on their website, and the ones sent to me by email were out dated so my file sat on her desk for three weeks waiting for a signed paper that I didn't know she needed. After I sent it priority mail, the next day she told me she needed another signed document from a doctor. So there goes another cost for priority mail.... I lost at least three weeks of pay because of this debacle. They like to blame the Saudi embassy for slow work processing, but don't have any clue that they are also part of the "slow" factor. Actually the Saudi embassy took only a week. Then my visa and passport where supposed to be sent back to me ASAP...sat on her desk again... Finally contacted Justin, thought it was lost in the mail...got it the same day I was supposed to fly out and thought I would have to get my company paid flight changed. Ummmmm...yea at least from this part of the office. Don't recommend.... And after arriving in Saudi, many of the same stories are retold with the same problems from all the American teachers arriving. Perhaps going to their office in person would make a difference.
