Absolute scammers! I trusted FedEx, they recommended using their service. I even initiated the process at a FedEx store. I used their computer, paid a ridiculous fee, only to find out I was not eligible. No forms were downloaded, application was not submitted and order was cancelled within minutes. I even contacted my credit card company about this fraud within a half hour. It's been almost a month, still no refund in sight. I submitted a complaint within the Better Business Bureau and their responses are laughable. Please Stay Away!!!! Avoid at all costs!!! The biggest scam EVER! This company ruined my baby moon!!! My husband paid $750 for a one day rush passport- they required proof of travel (which had to be cancelled with no refund!!! Including our remaining trip to the Cayman Islands-we lost over $10,000!!!)- he submitted everything on February 4th-it is now February 20th and still no passport!!! This is serious fraud and must be reported to the Department of state- so many reviews state the same!!! Just an awful experience. I paid for 3-week expedited service on 4/10, it's 5/8 today, and they informed me I would receive my passport back on 5/29. I asked them to process a refund and they told me they would not do so. I'm going to be very surprised if I ever actually get my passport back from them. You have to pay upfront. then they tell you they can not get you a passport in the timeframe liste., 2-3 days. it was going to take ten. so I asked for my refund. two weeks later and still trying to get it. just go to the Dept of State and get it yourself. I have called multiple times and they play games. computer issues so can't be refunded call back in 15 minutes. Called back in 30, advices call in an hour. They were still closed and could not help on Tuesday after memorial day stating closed for the holiday. Multiple emails with work order number. No reply ever. This is a scam of a business. I can't believe FedEx would associate with this business. I needed a new passport for my son, and they charged $339 for 2-3 week expediting service. They directed me to contact a passport acceptance company. I was required to go in person to the county recorder and they provide all the same services at no cost. There's a reason they want to take your money before you start the application process. They know they are not really providing any service and they are charging a very high cost to do it. They are hoping you don't figure it out. In the end, I submitted it through the county recorder instead of rush mypassport.com as they ensured the same 2-3 week service as rushmypassport.com. I also did not trust that rushmypassport.com was a dependable company after I figured out what they were doing. Of course even though I didn't use the rushmypassport.com services, I was not eligible for a refund even though I wanted to cancel the same day I applied, because I downloaded their forms (which I didn't use). This is a complete scam, preying on individuals who don't know where to start with the Passport application process. Their customer service was clearly outsourced to an overseas call center. The whole customer service process was clear that they were trying to hide something. I strongly recommend avoiding this company if at all possible. All the 5 stars are people who bought the Brooklyn Bridge. People -- YOU COULD HAVE GOT YOUR PASSPORT IN 2-3 WEEKS YOURSELF WITHOUT PAYING THESE BOZOS HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS. All you did is pay a ridiculous fee for shipping. 2-3 week turnaround (or sometime sooner) is the normal expedited process from the state department that they charge $60 for. The state dept also provides you with updates if you log in to their website to check. The worst if what I paid for, ironically called "smart service." I paid $119, their website software simply filled in the application from the state dept website (which by the way, there were a few mistakes with the rushmypassport software) and provided me with essentially the same checklist provided by the state department. Part of the checklist said "no inbound label required, post office worker will send" to which I figured, Ok well then they must send it some special fast way once they heard I've paid for "smart service" right? right? I went to a website affiliated with FedEx call "rush my passport" so I must have paid $119 for some sort of quicker than usual service, right? WRONG. After downloading the application I realize I have been duped into spending $119 just to go to their website to fill out the application. Everything else that is done to actually rush the passport is through the state department, with their own fees paid when I submit the app at the post office. I assume for the $800 service these tools perhaps actually slap a $35 FedEx shipping label on the application? This service is taking advantage of people who for whatever reason seem not to realize they can get their passport pretty quickly directly through the dept of state (admittedly, that was me; I actually trusted FedEx, my bad, won't be using them for anything again). People who are busy and just search for "passport fast" see FedEx and think, "OK FedEx (or AAA or AARP, apparently, who also have partnered with these scammers) I can trust these known organizations/companies if they say this is how to get my passport the fastest" Then people end up paying a RIDICULOUS upcharge for shipping, or in my case, ("smart service") I didn't even get that!! read more

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! I paid for the 5 week expedited service on November 19 2022. I mailed all of my documents to rush my passport from a Fedex Office that same day (11/19/22). My husband and I had an anniversary trip planned and our flight left on January 4, 2023. November 19, 2022 through January 4, 2023 = 6 weeks and 3 days. On November 22, 2022 they called me saying that my check wasn't for the right amount of money - note I had to calculate the fee myself from the DOT website as they did not tell me how much to write the check for. I called them back that same day (11/22/23) and asked to pay over the phone but couldn't reach anyone and had to leave a VM. I was trying to be patient but after not hearing back by the next day I called and again couldn't get through to anyone so I left another message. No call back. Thursday November 24th was a holiday so I called AGAIN on Friday November 25th and finally got through to someone and paid over the phone. November 25, 2022 - January 4, 2023 = 5 weeks and 4 days. By the week of Christmas I still didn't have my passport so I started getting really nervous. I called on December 26th and was told that "it should be ok" and that I "should" get it in time. When I told them that really wasn't an acceptable answer I was told that the only thing I could do was call the Department of State and try to get an appointment. They gave me a 1-800 number for the Department of State. Fortunately I called the Department of State and they did give me an appointment on December 30th so I could get my passport and go on my vacation. Ultimately, it was the helpful folks at the government who got me my passport on time and every cent I paid to rush my passport was a complete waste of money. read more

I got a last-minute opportunity to go to the Galapagos and spend some shore-leave with some Blue Booty. BUT(GET IT?!), my passport was expired. These are their services and rates: 24 Hour Service: 1 Business Day $399.00 Next Day Service: 2 Business Days $299.00 Priority Service: 3 - 5 Business Days $249.00 Rush Service: 6 - 9 Business Days $169.00 Standard Service: 10 - 12 Business Days $99.00 I went with the Rush Service and it took only 5 days! Not even business days, CALENDAR DAYS! They did inform me that it could take as long as 9 business days though, so don't cut it too close! Be warned: this isn't a complete hand-holding experience. You're going to have to gather lots of documentation together and follow instructions precisely. However, they will do a "final check" with you before you send all your stuff in. You should probably dedicate a solid 2-4 hour chunk of your time to gathering and updating all your info. About the pricing: this does not include the $170 check you will be writing to the Federal Government for the actual passport. This is stated pretty clearly on the website, right beneath the pricing. I felt a bit miffed: the pricing also does not include an additional $59.90 for shipping. I feel like this is a bit deceptive and should be included in the totals above. It's awesome to get overnight shipping each way, but it's a little disingenuous to not state that until it's time to pay. What do they do? Except take your money? I paid the State dept. the extra $60 to get my passport in 7-9 weeks, then paid RushMyPassport $128 to see about getting it quicker, but that amount only gets my passport after 10 weeks. That's longer than the State Dept. So what do they do? Nothing, that's what they do. They tell you to send them the passport app after you get it processed, so they could send it in for you. Why? They put a little scanner code on the side of the application. Unless they have a connection to the State Department to get them to process the apps faster, they do nothing but take your money. DO NOT USE THIS "SERVICE!!!" My aunt realized in February that her passport expired, and she was traveling in April. We decided to use Rush My Passport because FedEx and Triple A named it as an expedited service. We mailed the information and supporting docs to Rush My Passport in the end of February. 3 weeks into March, we still couldn't secure an update through the government website. After making multiple attempts to reach a person at Rush My Passport (none of which were successful), I finally got in contact with someone(Use the phone number on the website but first check the status of your case. The automated system will provide a status and will redirect you to a person but always check your status first). According to Jasmine, there was a problem with my aunt's paperwork because the blue ink was too light. We NEVER received any notification from Rush My Passport about this. I asked Jasmine to return my aunt's expired passport because I did not trust their ability to timely process her passport renewal. Unfortunately, three weeks after that, we still hadn't received it. I finally called again on Friday, April 7, 2023, but had to leave an angry message since I called when they were not open (they have hours like a bank). We never received a response, but my aunt got her expired passport returned to her yesterday. Again, DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. They are completely inept and if you need to travel quickly, they will no doubt make an already stressful process even more stressful with their lack of communication, response and continuous delay. read more
