Quoted us a very competitive price. Simply called him when we wanted to pick it up and he worked with us on our time. Fast Glass and Lauren are a throw back to what business's use to be. You call or Email, and you get a response. I needed to replace an acrylic aquarium light cover that was brittle and yellowing. These people live up to their name, they are fast and efficient. But they also do high quality work. They are a father and son duo, Lauren and James, and they have been doing this a long time. We have an old Spanish-style building from the 20's with sash windows that were all long ago painted shut with no working ropes on them. The windows were all on the second floor, requiring a ladder to access them. They met me at my house to measure for screen replacement ahead of my appointment to fix them that was to be a couple days later. Upon inspection, they decided they could make the time right away to work on them and they got right to it. They unstuck my windows, re-roped them and went back the shop and made precise window screens for each window within the span of a few hours. Solid work ethic. I would not hesitate to call them out again. I had gotten quotes from 3 other companies (one was to replace the old windows with new vinyl ones) before deciding to go with Fast Glass. Talk about fast glass. I needed a glass top for my dining room and patio table so I called Lauren and he picked up immediately. Apparently he answers 24/7. I gave him my measurements and he said he would have the glass ready and delivered in 3 days. Disaster struck late last night when our husky decided to decisively slam through our old sliding glass door, reducing the 34" x 76" sheet of glass to a disperse pile of popping shards. Early this morning, after cleaning up (most of) the glass, we decided to find a place that would be open at the relatively ungodly hour of 9am on a Sunday. We placed a call to Fast Glass, and after texting him pictures of the remnants of the door and measurements of the frame, got an instant quote and a window of a couple hours for when he'd arrive. Lo and behold, he arrived perfectly within that window, promptly cleaned up the glass that was remaining within the frame, and maneuvered the sliding glass door off the tracks (a feat, given the presence of a heavy iron gate bolted to the exterior of the doorframe). Not fifteen minutes later, the door was refitted with thicker glass and was already in the process of being remounted. Not even 45 minutes after he arrived, he was finishing up and our door is good as new! Will definitely call Fast Glass again. TL;DR: Extremely skilled, great price, and very timely and efficient.
