I had a great experience with Affordable Glass Company, and especially with the owner, Bill. He was very professional, responsive, and easy to work with. Bill did an excellent job replacing the glass in my front glass door with IG double-pane Low-E tempered safety glass with argon inside. The quality of the work was excellent. He paid attention to the details, showed up when he said he would, and made the whole process very easy. I'm very happy with the result and would definitely recommend Affordable Glass Company and Bill to anyone who needs quality glass work. Great service and a very nice guy to work with! read more

Affordable Glass - Front door - Windows Installation Near Me - Long Beach, California

Prompt, great service at good price. The project was to replace 7 window units of various sizes.

I had Bill come out to fix another double pane window as our dog broke the glass while freaking out over a squirrel. Once again Bill was quick to respond, polite and professional. He came out that day to measure and had the new glass installed the following week. Hopefully this is the last time I'll need a window repaired, but if not I'll definitely be using Affordable Glass again. read more

Bill did an amazing job fixing my windows today. Very personable and friendly. Highly recommend

Bill is AMAZING and the man for your glass repair needs. While deep cleaning my office, I accidentally broke the interior glass of my window. After doing some research and making several calls, Bill stood out immediately for the value he offered. I was also really impressed me was that this is his own business, he was attentive, incredibly kind, and fast! He made what could've been a stressful situation feel completely manageable. I highly recommend Bill for any i need of window repair. Thank you so much Bill. read more

Our window frame broke in an awkward position. After reaching out to our property management, they put us in contact with Bill of Affordable Glass. He responded immediately, was communicative, and was flexible when he could come work on the window. It's fixed, and the home is happy again. Super appreciative for the promptness- 5 stars! read more

I needed to replace a piece of glass in a window that had condensation between the panes. Other glass companies didn't want to replace the pane, only wanted to quote me thousands of dollars for a whole new window. Bill came out the same day, quoted me a very reasonable price for a big piece of replacement glass. We had a couple of very nice chats while he measured and again when he came back to install the piece. Very nice and professional guy, great product, awesome price, and a couple of really nice conversations on top of it. I'm really happy to recommend Bill and Affordable Glass. Nobody ever hopes their windows break, but if they do, I know where I'm calling. read more

It's not customary for me to leave negative reviews but other customers should be warned. Don't waste your time. Called for a quote and was told by Bill he would call back after Nov. 29th due to workload. Never received a call back after the 29th. Called again and left a voicemail and still no call back. Terrible customer service to say the least. read more

Bill came to our aid with getting my double paned window replaced and repaired. He was honest and didn't try to take advantage of me by jacking up the price in this emergency situation. He got the glass ordered right away and put my mind at ease. He took very good care of me and was so kind helping me feel at ease. I really can see that he is a man with integrity. I will definitely use him again should the need arise. Bill is top notch and did an excellent job. read more

Bill was awesome- communicative and affordable. He came out right away to fix the broken glass at my rental property. Thanks so much!

All these stars! I'd like to have them come out to do a job.....but the phone answering device is full, I can't even ask them to call me back. What's a girl to do???? Paul must have seen my number on his caller ID....called me back :) Doesn't do what I need, but made a great recommendation. read more

Never do business with Bill. Spoke with him multiple times on the phone talking about my windows. He called me back with a quote which I accepted He said he would call back but never did. Upon calling him back a week later he told me to go with someone else!! Don't even bother with this company. What a waste of time. Stay away read more

Bill is fantastic. One of our bedroom windows wouldn't open. I had a company (that shall remain nameless) come out and say it needed a new part. Bill took the time to figure it out and now the window is opening perfectly. Definitely the guy I'm calling in the future. read more

I was calling around looking for someone to replace a the broken glass on my door. It's a small panel 10x13", so this company "passed" on this small project but gave me a referral to another location, which I really appreciate. Tip: Looks like this company only takes "larger" projects read more

Incredible fast work. Thoughtful and thorough job. Quick response. Highly recommend.

Even during a worldly pandemic, Bill "the dollar" was able to replace and fix a 10x34 glass window in less than 30 mins. I highly recommend, call Bill especially if you want the job done, quick and precise. read more

Called Bill after another glass company in Long Beach did not show up for an appointment (called later saying he had been "too busy"). He came out and measured the three windows that needed replacement and called back a week later with an estimate. It sounded reasonable as I had the same problem with other windows previously and I had a good idea what it would cost to replace. We agreed on an installation day on my next day off and he showed up on time, replaced the three windows in about an hour and a half and also fixed the bottom window of a single hung which after opening would creep down to the closed position after being opened. Took his card and he will be my go-to window person from now on. read more

These guys are great! Answered my phone call on their day off and got a quote over the phone. Came out next day and repaired a window for me. Charged quoted price and handled the broken window quickly. Very happy with the window repair service. Highly efficient and very kind! If you are in or near Long Beach I highly recommend Affordable Glass!! read more

I moved into a home in Long Beach that needed a little love. Bill got right back to me and came over the same day for an estimate. He was able to convert a slatted louve window (glass shutters) into a laminate solid window for safety while keeping the wood trim appearance even though it would mean a bit more work for them. He removed the damaged wood and got a new identical piece milled for me and had it replaced within two days. He replaced a missing window as well and replaced two cracked windows and screwed two windows in my garage shut for safety. They used parafin wax on all my old window sills to loosen them up a little bit as well as window stoppers to help keep them open....all extra I didn't even ask them to do it! Bill and his team were very quick and nice, very affordable and timely with me. It was great getting to know him and if every I need another window fixed, Bill is my guy from now on! read more

My son unfortunately broke our neighbors window with a basketball. Thankfully I found Bill on Yelp, called him at noon on a Saturday, and by 330pm the window was fixed! Bill was very professional, inexpensive and an all around awesome guy! I hope I never have to replace a window again, but if I do, I know who to call!! read more

Bill, is wonderful! I called him and left a message. He called me back within a few hours and set up a time to come look at my broken window. I was afraid that the job might be too small for him, because it was a tiny door window, with an odd type of glass from the 70's. I took a picture of the window and sent it to him, he was able to replace to glass almost exactly! He was quick, professional, and is a dog lover :) His prices are fair, and I will highly recommend Bill, to anyone that needs his type of service! read more

I have been trying for the last few days to get a hold of this business to make some window repairs at my house. Every time I call, I cannot speak to a live person. Only a voicemail. I've left a voicemail twice and still haven't received a call back. I was hopeful this was going to be a good experience based on the previous reviews but it's hard to give a good review if you can't get a hold of them! I had to go elsewhere for my windows. read more

Bill is great. All yelp reviews are spot on. I left a message late one Friday evening and I got a call early the next day. I needed the windows replaced that weekend. He made it happen and didn't charge me a ridicules amount--very affordable. Bill is also a sweetheart! We chatted about my new house, travel, and life! Will definitely use him again. Thanks Bill! read more

It's rare to see a company with 5-star ratings across the board, but Affordable Glass earns it. This is a 2-man outfit, which means you deal with real people, real service, and real prices. I had some windows with glass that needed replacing (dual-glazed units with broken seals -- condensation between panes). The biggest headache was a circular window that's 12 feet off the floor, in a 3rd floor condo... that was originally installed from the outside. I called three companies before Affordable Glass. Each had that corporate feel, and not in a good way. When workers came out to do estimate, two of them barely spoke english, which was problematic because this wasn't a cookie cutter job. And all three were stumped when they saw the circular window. The only way they said it could be done was by setting up scaffolding outside -- only they didn't do that kinda thing, and if they did, it would cost hundred of bucks. Then camed Affordable Glass. Bill took a look, and after some thought, figured out a way to do that didn't fit into corporate cookie cutter paradigm. Great to work with, great job on the installations, and great prices. Real people. Patronize 'em. read more

Needed a window replacement ASAP for the medical office I work at. Called Bill on Thursday morning/noon and he was able to come out and see the window before the end of the day. I was told he'd be able to replace it Friday or Monday, which is an awesome turnaround time! He ended up making it out today (Friday) and he and another gentleman finished the job in about half an hour! They did an amazing job and will definitely continue to use them for any future needs. Pricing was reasonable as well. Highly recommend this company to anyone! read more

I found Affordable Glass through Yelp and thought I would give them a call since they were 5 stars. We had a double paned window that had a leak in between the glass and mold was taking over. I talked to Bill on the phone, he was very polite and informative. Came right over, told us he just had to replace the one side and didn't try to say we needed more done than we did. Very honest and just a very nice man. Affordable it was too! Thank you so much Bill for doing the job and being so professional. I highly recommend Affordable Glass for any window needs. read more

We've had Bill do two projects for us. He installed a 48" awning window above our shower, and he replaced a 5' front window in our living room. The front window was a more custom project since we own a historic bungalow home. Bill used restoration glass so that it would have the same wavy texture of our other, older windows. He did a great job with both windows. Well done, good handiwork. More importantly, Bill is a very friendly and nice gentleman, and it was very easy to do business with him. Hopefully, we won't have any more broken windows, but if we do, I would not hesitate to use Affordable Glass again! read more

First, I am using yelp for anything and everything; but that's besides the point... Bill is awesome. I called on Sunday, he called me back the next day- made a same day appointment, was on time and did the work that day. Easy, inexpensive, honest and a great guy. I should break a couple more windows... but I won't. read more

Let me add to the praise here. After a bullet hole (apparently those cable people are serious when you don't pay your bill!) damaged my kitchen window, I was looking for someone who wouldn't charge an arm and a leg for what would be a small job. I called Bill and he came out the next morning. He was friendly, courteous, thorough, and charged what I consider a very reasonable price for materials and labor, and had the job done within a a short time. I'm considering a larger whole house window replacement project down the line and he's definitely on my list to call back out for an estimate. Very happy with my experience. read more

We had a broken glass pane in a double pane window. Very professional and mostly responsive. I had to call him twice to make contact, typical small business issue. He came out within a day to measure the window, provided a cost for the replacement panel the same afternoon. Came back 3 days later with the replacement panel and was finished within 20 minute. I am not an expert on glass cost, but it seemed reasonable at $390 for a 52 x 31 double pane window. read more

I called bob this morning and he came out to my house same afternoon right on time. I had water leaking through my window frames.
