2 Pepperoni slices, side of sauce and root beer
    Amanda H.

If you are looking for some solid slices look no further than Fascati Pizza. Always hot and fresh. Always lovely service from hardworking folks. I usually get 2 slices and they add pepperoni for me and reheat. I like to dab off the pepperoni grease before adding oregano, garlic and hot pepper. Recently I noticed they offer some house made sodas. I tried the root beer which was delicious. Vibes are chill usually as you would expect for a pizza shop with all kinds of folks and groups. They also have a little window you can order from outside. My go-to in Brooklyn Heights for a NY slice. Cash only!

Good if you're in the area. I'd chose the Sicilian over the regular. The regular has an interesting variation on dough, more flour, I think. The Sicilian has a nice bouncy springy dough, which is unique. Standard cheese, the regular could use a cheese upgrade imho. I observed a horrifying pizza crime while I was here, though: the oven guy was smashing down the crust bubbles on the regular. Do. NOT. I want to smash my own bubbles, thank you. It's a nice walk from the downtown courthouse area. Take note of all the beautiful architecture along the way.

Nice cheese slice. Quick service. A bit thicker crust. A solid, tasty piece of pizza in a convenient location. Solid.

A $3.50 cheese slice that is most certainly 2.5-3 stars at most. Just OK...nothing special (and not worth $3.50).

I also consider myself a pizza connoisseur, next to ribeyes, barbecue and key lime pie, I'm probably saying my fourth is pizza. It's totally different than Chicago pizza, and I think it's because of the water I really do!!! What separates pizza places are either the ingredients, or in this place, what separates them is their crust. They make everything fresh right in front of you, pictures are below. Jennie took our order and she walked us through the menu. We ended up getting a big margherita pizza. My son got the 2 tomato slices, he isn't a big cheese fan. My wife got pepperoni, they have beef pepperoni or pork pepperoni. Mikey Love was really cool he came out and greeted me. My kids got a drink, and then guess what, their gelato was actually top tier. I went for pizza and found out the Geloto was was awesome. You go to a pizza place and then get gelato. They had vanilla and watermelon, it was so good. I got some for my daughter, I tasted it, and one of my self them one of my sons wanted some as well. Bernadette was making them and having a great time. So, eating at this restaurant before the Bruce Springsteen concert, the other night was a thrill. Ate with lifelong friends. Lots of seafood and the pasta was fantastic! Nice bottle of wine at a reasonable price. Good service. Not sure what the menu currently says, but the menu from just 3 months ago said it's 18% for a party under 6. Maybe they've changed it. Not sure. This is the first restaurant we've been to with 20% auto gratuity for a party under 6. But the borderline dishonest part is that the check that you sign tells you in tiny letters that tip was already added, but has huge font for additional tip and written out tip calculations, so it is very easy to tip 40% without noticing. Sometimes I do tip extra generously, but I don't want to feel like I was tricked into doing it! Looking thru reviews here, I see other people also experienced this, including people in small parties who were locked into the 20% when it should have definitely been 18%. :/ So close to a good experience, but ruined by tricksy billing.
