    Chop salad (shared)

The food ~ fresh produce in the salad with a traditional Cobb salad flavor! The smash burger had an onion jam that provided a depth of flavor. The ambiance ~ location overlooks the golf course area. The inside has high ceilings and open feeling. The service ~ well, they would have received a higher rating if the staff actually seem to put on a smile and good service. This was the failure on the experience. Why: - there was just no care in the food service delivery or a sense of care or attention to us once the meal was delivered. I almost felt like we were a burden and it was "work" to ensure we were had what we needed. Additionally I had to ask for salad dressing for our salad and we had to remind the waitress that we had ordered fries with our burger.

Restaurant was very inviting with a upbeat atmosphere. Service was attentive and friendly. The menu is limited but the food is great. We had hummus to start, very fresh and balanced. The tenderloin was perfectly cooked and seasoned. It's a 10 out of 10. The vegetable and potatoes it came with needed seasoning, but nothing special. The ahi was also good. Has a nice kick but not overpowering. The pork shank was really good. Very tender and different from others. We also tried the Paella. Seafood was cooked perfectly. Very delicious though the dish had a tone of peas.

we decided to come here for breakfast during our stay at the westin! they have an option for a buffet style breakfast or you can order off the menu. what we ended up ordering would've been cheaper to do the buffet style breakfast but regardless the food was great! the break o' dawn and malted waffles were so delicious. service was on point and everyone was friendly here. the ambiance was nice, great views outside through the windows. this spot is on the pricier side but it is conveniently located just downstairs in the hotel. i would recommend this place and come back again during future stays.

We are staying at the Westin Villas for a few days and ended up at Faro and Brag on two nights. Both nights we had the pleasure of being served by Christian and both nights the service was outstanding. I ordered the 3 bean and feta soup both nights and it was delicious. We also enjoyed the Greek salad and the salmon both nights. The second night we brought our teenage daughter and we split the sourdough boule, which was also really good. It's rare to find a place where everything is so delicious and the service is so good and the atmosphere is so relaxing. No pretense, just really nice people and surprisingly delicious food.

Nellie Cashman Had Valentines Day Dinner Experience with a prefix menu. Made reservations through Open Table for the Valentine's Day Experience. Appetizer was a choice of Oysters Duet or Treviso Chopped Salad, we both choose salad. I probably should have ordered the oysters Choice of entrées were Ancho Rubbed 14 oz Prme Rib, Double Cut Kurobuta Pork Loin or Grilled Lobster Tail. We ordered the Ancho Prime Rib and Grilled Lobster Tail. These were both excellent choices and prepared so well. The Ancho Rubbed 14 ounce Prime Rib was a generous cut that seemed to be more like 20 ounces prepared in a Garlic Confit, Black Trumpet Mushrooms and accompanied with a Sage Polenta and Pan Au Jus. Prime Rib was top notch and in a medium rare as requested. Absolutely yummy! The Grilled Lobster Tail was prepared with a Watercress Pesto, served with a Truffle Potato Risotto, Baby Fennel, and Tri Color Romanesco. Lobster Tail was a good size and so tasty. We ended up splitting so we both had Surf and Turf. Oh so good. Dessert was a Chocolate Strawberry Rocca with Bailey's Almande Creme which was tasty. The toffee / Rocca was definitely my favorite. Service from Clifford was top notch, always there to top off our drinks and really never had to ask for much. There was a little snafu between the Open Table listing and what actually was, in the pricing but the Food and Beverage Manager Marco Vinaras took care of the matter by inviting us to breakfast, on the house.

What a perfect night to dine here during the holiday seasons. There was a Holiday special couple weeks ago with free live music in the courtyard and surprised fireworks, yay! Our dinner was delicious and the service was excellent! Our waiter was Christian and he was superb! Christian was very helpful answering with all of questions that I was curious about regarding of different holiday events at the resort. What a special night and thank you Nellie for your delicious food and service!

Located on the Westin Resort and Spa property. My husband and I came here for dinner for the first time. Overall experience was nice. Service was really attentive. Food overall was really good. We highly recommend the paella for two. Really flavorful and full of seafood. The only disappointing dish was the burger. Patty was bland and not seasoned. Also it could have used some bacon for more flavor or tomato and lettuce for more balance.

Food and service were fantastic. I was originally disappointed to find it was in a hotel, as hotel food is usually average, but Nellie was a hot! Ambiance was a wonderful first class restaurant and the menu Was diversified. I had the salmon and delicious! Definitely would recommenced

However, every time we visited in the past, we had a great experience--until this last visit. We made a reservation for 7:45 PM but didn't get seated until 8:30 PM. While this isn't terrible, it can be challenging when you have a little one with you, but it's to be expected as a parent. Once we were at our table, we ordered drinks and food for the kids. My wife ordered a cocktail, and I opted for an Old Fashioned. The kids ordered pasta and a cheese pizza. This is when things started to go downhill. The pasta was okay, but the pizza had a few hairs on it--more than one, in fact. This made us uncomfortable, so we informed the waiter, and they addressed the issue promptly. As we waited for the new pizza, our drinks arrived, and they were nicely presented. However, while sipping my Old Fashioned, I noticed something unusual in my drink--Tajin. Curious, I asked the waiter if this was a special variation of the Old Fashioned. She replied no, so I pointed out the issue in my glass, and she confirmed she saw the Tajin as well. I felt she was treating it as if it was acceptable, which it clearly wasn't, so I looked at her, signaling that I would like a new drink. (I wish I had taken pictures.) Following that, our main dishes started to arrive. My wife ordered a wagyu steak, and I had the pork loin. Unfortunately, we began to analyze everything after the earlier mishaps, and the vibe of the experience was completely lost. To make matters worse, we were still charged for the pizza that had hair on it and the drink that had the issue. With all that being said, I've decided I will no longer be dining here.

We were seated in the back since we were a larger party, which was a little disappointing - the front area felt much more lively. We didn't realize we could request seating closer to the front, but to their credit, they did turn the music up a bit, which helped the atmosphere. The service was okay - not bad, but a little on the mediocre side. That said, the food definitely made up for it. The Wagyu steak was absolutely delicious, and the appetizers were solid as well. Even with a few small hiccups, it was still a great experience and a fun night out. We would definitely go back and would just ask to sit closer to the front next time.

We asked if the fireplace could be turned off, and were told it was "just the pilot light" and that the heat was from outside air coming through. That explanation didn't really make sense, especially if it's an electric fireplace, and it left us wondering why the flue was open in the first place. Our server initially seemed a little annoyed when we brought it up, though he became friendlier as the evening went on. As for the food and drinks: the Gold Margarita tasted a bit cheap for the price. Once it arrived in the taller glass, it was clear the ratio leaned heavily toward mixer and sweetness rather than tequila, gran marnier, and fresh lime juice. It definitely didn't taste like fresh lime as advertised. On the other hand, my husband's espresso martini was absolutely fantastic. The standout dish was the filet special - rubbed in mustard and marinated for over 24 hours. It was excellent. The mashed potatoes were packed with flavor, and the jambalaya rice was tasty as well, though slightly cold. Dessert was an apple pie with the crust wrapped entirely around it, which we enjoyed. Overall, the meal itself had several highlights, but it was disappointing to make a reservation and end up at a table next to what felt like the entrance to Satan's lair.

Wifey started with the strawberry salad which was very large and had a wonderful dressing. Easily could have feed two. Went with the lamb entree which was cooked to perfection. Three chops presented on cauliflower mash and mint herbs. Superb choice. I took a step of faith and tried the Wagu beef appetizer. It was terrific. Chunks of beet on short skewers and wrapped with a large basal leaf. The beef itself was exceptionally good. For an entree, I went with the New York strip with a side of asparagus and off the cobb corn elote. The strip was slightly overcooked, I ordered medium and it came well done. Bummer! Asparagus was very grilled and tender. We wrapped up the meal with two pieces of Flan topped with coconut. Delightful ! Restaurant is a little unusual with respect to layout but very functional.
