We arrived just before the lunch rush - and wow this place got very busy on a Friday! I had The Rancher with spicy jalapeño dressing. Loved it! They have a lot of different refreshing drink options. I tried the pineapple mint - yum!
In the area for a work trip. Beat the lunch rush by a little bit so we had quick service, but the line was quite long (but moving fast) shortly after. The descriptor "warm salad" may not sound the best, but that's kind of what it is and it is delicious. Love that you can have a great tasting, yet healthy lunch. Staff was very patient and moved quickly once you were ready. They have their service figured out well to feed all the corporate folks that swing in for lunch. Will add to my rotation when in the area.
This is a salad concept like Sweetgreens but with a slightly more abbreviated offering. I love salads and thoroughly enjoyed my experience here. Please come and create your own adventure.

Can't go wrong here. The salads are amazing and the portion sizes are huge. The place is very clean and they have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. You always feel good after eating here. The only downside is the staff can be pretty rude and they rush you nonstop, but honestly the food is so good it's hard to complain too much.
Delicious bowls at a great price! I got the rancher which was filling and delicious. Love having healthier options around the triangle. Would definitely go back.
Just what you want in a fast casual salad spot. I chose the Caesar bowl, and finished it all. Great soft bread is optional, I chose heavy dressing. Selection of tea, sodas, and juice drinks. I'd come back if ever in the area!
With having such great reviews, I've been wanting to try Farmside Kitchen for a while now and finally did. This place reminds me a lot of similar restaurants like Sweetgreen and Cava. I ordered the Farmside bowl and unfortunately will say that I was a little disappointed in my meal. While the bowl was definitely healthy, it didn't have a whole lot of flavor and the dressings didn't add much to it. The meal kind of left a dry taste in my mouth. I really wanted to like this place more, and maybe I just didn't order the right thing. I'd be open to giving it another try, but this first visit didn't quite live up to the hype.
Had an enjoyable lunch here on the way to the airport. I got the root veggie bowl without dressing. It was very good. Also quite filling. It had more rice than I expected. I also got a nice kombucha with limited sugar that was organic I enjoyed.
Love Farmside Kitchen!! Great place to get your fresh salad bowls. There truly something for everyone. My favorite is the rancher which comes with kale, brown rice, beans, cheese, avocado, crushed tortillas, and cilantro dressing. It comes with chicken as the protein but I always get the cilantro lime tofu. The salad is topped with a fresh lime and a slice of bread. It's so delicious and flavorful!! They have another dressing that is spicy but the cilantro dressing works for me as I'm not spice tolerant. The service is always quick and efficient. There's plenty of indoor and outside seating to accommodate all groups. And parking is easy and accessible. Love it!!
With so many great Yelp reviews, we were expecting a better meal when choosing Farmside Kitchen to satiate our hunger after traveling into RDU and starting our short drive back to the Triad. We wanted something fresh and tasty with plenty of greenery to help offset some of the delicious things we ate in Nashville, that admittedly, might have been not as healthy. This place is a lot like a CAVA or Chopt, except, the amount of available toppings is not as robust, and in our experience... simply not as flavorful. We each built our own bowl, and were surprised at the lack of meat choices. You have an option for chicken breast or... chicken thighs. Everything else was tofu or a warm vegetable. The chicken also looked very plain, and upon tasting it, it was very dry, and definitely lacked in the flavor department. It left that chalky chicken taste in my mouth which takes lots of liquid to dispel. Moving onto toppings, we were not confronted with lots of interesting flavors like you might see at some of those places I named earlier. Instead it was standard salad bar fare with a few exceptions. The dressings were interesting, my cilantro based one was tasty, but the Greek vinaigrette my wife chose didn't have much in the way of flavor. She went back up for a side cup of balsamic, which was much better. This was around 8pm that we came in, and mind you, they are open until 10pm as noted on the door. The employees were much more focused on their closing duties than anything food related. One of them kept mopping the floor the entire time even though more customers were coming in and having to track through it. In the end, it just wasn't a satisfying meal, but was enough to get us home. Maybe this place is simply more on it's game during lunch or earlier dinner hours, but, I don't see myself stopping in again.
I had been hearing good things about Farmside for a while & finally got the opportunity to check it out. We came in the evening during the week & there were a decent of amount of people dining in & getting take out. It was not packed though. There is plenty of parking near the entrance. The restaurant is spacious & you can dine inside or outside. There are healthy fruit juice combinations & regular fountain drink options available. After entering you place your order at the counter & your meal is made using the assembly line of ingredients. You can create your own bowl or select a pre-selected set of ingredients. The ingredients were fresh. I really enjoyed my bowl & plan on returning.

Farmside?!? Where have you been and why can't you come to Fayetteville?!? I swore after not being able to make the Yelp event you had in May that I would make it to your restaurant; and I am so glad that I did! I was on my way back to Fayetteville, so I got your southwest bowl to go. The lady that greeted me was so nice and welcoming; she was able to accommodate my couple of changes. I added more black beans, feta, and onions. She did not even blink and was so understanding. It just made my heart happy. At check out I was able to get a piece of your bread. It was super fresh and oh so yummy! My bowl-wow--I could not stop myself from eating it. Everything was so delicious, fresh, and hit every one of my taste buds and cravings! I literally had to put the bowl back in the bag to stop myself from eating wayyy more than I needed to. Definitely would recommend farmside for fresh, delicious, and healthy items! This is a busy establishment, and the ingredients are fresh and fairly priced. Usually when you go through a quick serve line it's easy to feel pressured to pick too quickly, but the ladies I had were easygoing especially because it's my first time here (phew)! There's a ton of window seating, so office people or those stuck inside a lot this is a great option. Anyone with kids- I'm sure it's the best extensive option for you, but there is a kids menu and drinks too. read more

Love that there is a healthy and quick option for lunch! The service was super quick, similar to Chipotle. They offer farm bowls that are loaded with vegetables and other healthy ingredients, which you can choose your own or order from suggested ones. I got the Rancher and my husband got the Pitchfork. We got a side of mac and cheese to share to go with our bowls. The bowls were pretty big portions and I was pretty full before I was halfway done! The mac and cheese was really nicely done and the best I have had in awhile! I also suggest getting the mango and kale drink. It was sweet but not too sweet, and super refreshing since I stopped by here after my morning run! Everything was delicious and perfectly seasoned. I will definitely be returning! read more

This place is a cute salad shop I stopped by on a business trip - looking for a healthy quick meal. This place is true fast casual - walk through the assembly line of vibrant vegetables and make your own salad OR pick one of their signature designed salads. I ended up picking the classic ceaser and going crazy on the add ons- add grilled corn, spinach, fresh shredded Parmesan, avocado, you name it and they have it. The only missing ingredient I could think of is hard boiled eggs. Easy 10-15$ salad depending on your add ons and enjoy! read more

Love going to Farmside kitchen. Even when the line is long, their staff always has it moving quickly. All of the ingredients are locally sourced and fresh. My favorite bowl is the rancher with double chicken. I highly recommend getting one of the fresh juices -- I don't think I've ever tried one that wasn't good! read more

When I walked in, there was a huge line, so I was already sure that the food was going to taste good. Service was quick and helpful. Food tasted fresh and delicious. I just wish there were more options to fill the bowl. Really tasty and very good price! read more

Out of town and looking for a quick but yummy place to grab a quick bite before our flight. This place is awesome. My hubby and I chose a couple of pre designed salads and they both did not disappoint. He had the Kale and Quinoa with light dressing and a cup of extra on the side. I had the Farmside with the dressing the same as his. So fresh and yummy. Highly recommend. read more

I only tried one salad so far and the dressing I thought was okay not the best I ever had but the topping and everything else was great. This is a nice little salad bowl place that I tried for the first time. They specialize in "Farm Bowls" which can either be chosen from the menu or you can decide to make your own. The restaurant is a farm-to-table concept, which seems to utilize quite a few growers within the NC area. They list the specific growers used and it appears to range from slightly larger operations to some micro-growers, too. Everything was very fresh and the bowls were delicious. As pointed out from other visitors, you can choose how much dressing you'd like in your bowl. While some combinations may seem a little peculiar if you're not well-versed in this trend, I'd suggest you just give it a try and see how it tastes! I ordered the Farmside and I was pleasantly surprised by just how well the roasted sweet potatoes paired with the gala apples and everything else! It's apparent they've spent a lot of time thinking about the combination of ingredients and it's hard to go wrong picking one from the list. I would definitely recommend this place and I will most likely make a stop the next time I'm in the Durham area. read more

I wouldn't order from here again I placed an order online specifically said "NO AVOCADO HIGHLY ALLERGIC" and come to find out the cilantro lime dressing has Avocado and it doesn't mention that online. When I picked up my salad there was a note on the lid that "cilantro has avocado" and placed the dressing cups inside the salad bowl. I open my salad to find two slices of avocado. This is beyond words as this major mistake could have cost me my life. I went to the restaurant and got my money back but this could have been such a tragic incident. If you have any allergies please be careful as they have items on their menu that they don't acknowledge read more

Farmside Kitchen is open in the space previously occupied by Gusto. My husband and I both chose one of their farmbowls, it was the Rancher for me and the Kale and Quinoa for him. These bowls packed so much flavor and were delicious. I also got a white chocolate macadamia nut cookie and it was amazing. For drinks he tried the rosemary lemonade and black tea and I got a beer. The space is nice, you can sit inside or outside and the service was friendly. I can't wait to return. read more

You guys.... This place was 10/10 would recommend. I ordered delivery, so I can only comment on the food but I would ABSOLUTELY go again. The food gave me Happy + Hale vibes, which I'm so into. Everything was fresh, ingredients were great, and I didn't even have to use my dressing that came with because it tasted so good without it. Both my partner and I did build our own bowls and both were impressed. I also ordered a chocolate chip cookie and a white macadamia nut cookie. I didn't really care for the chocolate chip, but loved the white macadamia nut, but my partner loved the chocolate chip. We are definitely excited to go in person and will absolutely order delivery again! read more
Probably the best salad experience I've had! Their ingredients are so fresh and they come from local farms. Wide variety of veg and meat options. Service is quick! Ambience is good too because they have outdoor seating and indoor with tall windows - ton of natural light. I've been here twice, but this time I ordered the GOAT salad with a strawberry lemonade and it were both really good. Farmside Kitchen is a new, healthy fast-casual spot in Durham and I am a huge fan so far! From their mission and willingness to work with local farmers, to their menu and beautiful interior design, you can tell that the owners have put in a lot of hard work and care into this concept. The first time I stopped by, I was with a friend, and then decided to bring a few more pals with me on my second visit because we loved it so much. That being said, I was able to try several of their menu items! A couple of my favorite Farmbowls are the G.O.A.T and The Farmside. Honorable mentions go to the Rancher and the Kale & Quinoa. Their hand-crafted beverages are also great! We particularly enjoyed the Mango Apple Kale & Sparkling Passionfruit Ginger. You can't go wrong with the avocado toast, too- simple but delicious! Staff and management are very friendly and knowledgeable! The parking lot is shared with a few other businesses but I haven't had an issue with finding a spot which is great. There are also several tables in front of the store, so if it's a nice day you can enjoy your meal in the sunshine. I can't wait to come back again because there are still a few menu items I'd like to try (like the mac and cheese and the Grain Silo)! read more

A friend of mine told me about Farmside and I have been to the previous location called Gusto. She raves about the salad bowls so we used them today for a catered lunch. I contacted Elizabeth and she helped me create a delivery order for our team and ordering was extremely easy. We had a variety of salad farm bowls with vegetarian options and meat options. The team only had positive tings to say and loved the fresh and healthy options. I had the GOAT salad with roasted sweet potatoes, apples, goat cheese, cranberries and pomegranate vinaigrette. It has a tart and sweet flavor and is a great summer salad with fresh arugula and no meat. They also serve Mac n cheese and avocado toast. I highly recommend this option if in the RTP area nearby and will make an effort to go in person next time to experience the restaurant setting. read more

Now I can see what all the FOMO is about with Farmside Kitchen. Last week, we stopped in for lunch and ordered 2 Farmside Caesar salads. This salad is so interesting but so good at the same time. When you first enter Farmside Kitchen, you'll notice the multiple beverage options in the large, clear, cascading containers, such as lemonades, kale drinks, and so on. Then you make your way up to the left and place your order, Subway-style. There are plants for purchase on site, which are the same farm-to-table plants used for the food you're about to consume. They're all on display. As you convey your ingredient choices to the saladologist, they begin mixing and tossing it all in so that the work is already done for you. It's quick, efficient, delicious, and nutritious. I'm not used to having roma tomatoes in a Caesar, nor quinoa, but they work in this salad. I was a fan of the cheese crisps used to garnish, but I may ask for half of the amount next time since it tasted like a strong, sharp cheddar and overpowered a few of my bites. That's just if I'm being picky, though. After finishing this lunch, it kept me satisfyingly full for the next 5 hours and didn't upset my stomach one time. Quality, farm-to-table ingredients at a pace quicker than a deli, fast-food joint? I'm signed up now and know where to enjoy a fine salad. 4.8 STARS!! read more

Healthy and fresh food sourced from local farmers? Yes please! I visited Farmside kitchen on their opening day to try out one of their salad bowls. At the time, COVID restrictions were still in place so seating was limited. I choose to get my salad to go. Farmside is kind of set up like Chipotle or Blaze pizza where you can create your own bowl or choose a bowl from the menu. At the time we were only allowed to pick options from the menu (however now you can build your own bowl). I choose The Rancher - grilled chicken, black beans, corn, avocado, feta cheese, red onion, tortilla chips, kale and brown rice topped with a cilantro lime dressing. The salad portion was very generous and the price was reasonable. I really enjoyed the salad and the ingredients complimented each other very well. Next time I'm in Durham I will definitely stop by. read more
