The pre-packaged salads at trader joes are better tasting then the $7.50 salad here...but I guess iit's my fault for ordering a salad at a joint known for their burgers. On another note, the fried zucchini sticks are AMAZING! They have giant zucchini sticks that are lightly battered and deep fried. I Visited this location earlier today and was met by the worker, (manager I later found out)...First of all, no greeting, then while my daughter was on speaker phone & im placing the order; this woman is rushing me by barely allowing me to completely give her the order. Hitting the Spot Wasn't feeling well that day, walked in and ordered an egg sandwich to-go. Didn't wait long before getting my sandwich and walked out in less than 10 minutes Got home, the sandwich was still hot. It really hit my hunger spot and after i felt a little better. Farmer Boy's is a little pricey for my taste but you get what you pay for. In quality and quantity. Some of their food selection is heavy. Such as their Hog Breakfast Burrito with gravy INSIDE(boyfriends idea). It was amazing but we had to split the burrito because it was way to much! We occasionally eat here. Neither of us had an idea so we placed an online order to go through their web site. 4 piece fish, fries, salad and added 4 onion rings. Order was bagged and waiting when I got there. Counter lady added dressings and was very nice. I took the knotted bad and left. When we split and plated the meal we noticed there were no fries. The extra rings were there as was the $5.75 charge. After dinner I called and ultimately was told there was no way to refund for the missing fries as it was ordered through an internet vendor. Considering it's walnut fast food it's about as good as it gets. Everything is made to order which means it takes a little longer to get things but it's totally worth it. One of the few places around to get authentic American breakfast at a reasonable price. The avocado chicken sandwich is great and so are the fresh salads. I came here for lunch and went through the drive thru. They had me waiting at the window to pay for at least 10 minutes without even taking my payment yet, then another 3 minutes to hand me my food (a California blt & 4 zucchini sticks). I drove back to my office to eat and set down my bag to get situated I picked it back up and the whole bottom fell through and my lunch ended up on the floor. Ok so their computer is programmed to over charge I purchased a salad that came with a free drink for 7.99 (any salad) - stated on the coupon. But the invoice 9.30 employees gave lame excuses then began to ignore me. Then my Mom was outside she said she wants a sandwich so I go right back and give another coupon for 6.99 for sandwich and drink total should be less then 7.70 with tax but see invoice it comes to $ 7.86 about .20 cents more. It's no big deal but this is some kind a skimming going on. Plus if you buy again shortly you can't scan for points since lot of folks were stealing other peoples invoices and scanning them. When I'm craving a real chocolate or strawberry milk shake I head over to Farmer Boys. I love their bacon avocado cheeseburger (Natural Burger) with seasoned fries for lunch, or their chopped cobb salad (with blue cheese dressing). Just wait until you see and taste this salad! Enjoyed many times having their fried fish and fries. I especially enjoy Farmer Boys Denver omelet with fresh fruit, sourdough toast and jam with fresh hot coffee. Today is February 18th. This happened about an hour ago at night. This chunky hispanic lady at the drive-thru lacks customer service skills. I pulled up to the window, and she was looking at her phone.... in front of me, a customer waiting to give money for the food. I was being polite and let her look up from her phone to greet me (this took about waiting almost a long minute), and when she finally did, I gave her the money, (I noticed she had dark blue nails.) and she closed the window and stayed looking at her phone for a minute more before walking back further. I did not even get my receipt, I assume because she just knew that she was going to give me crappy service, so she wanted to withhold information (such as her name or information to contact about service). Finally when she opened the window again to give me my food, I asked, very politely, and even smiling, "May I please (I even said please) have a ranch?" She paused for a moment, looking fishy and was like "uh yeah I already put it in there." I smiled and said "oh thank you!" When i got home I notice i got NO ranch or dressing for my salad. She lied. I asked her for ranch, but I guess she did not want to walk just a few steps back to grab it for me so she went and lied to tell me she alreeady put it in there. Too bad she didnt give me a receipt that would tell me her name, and i am sure she didnt give it to me on purpose. I don't know how to contact management or corporate that would handle this.
