Was lured in today by a promo in my laptop inbox for their $9.99 Specials. I opted for the cheeseburger, with small fries and small iced coffee. Fries......so-so Iced coffee.....O.K. Cheeseburger......Sadly this place which touts its FRESHNESS, has turned into a mere McDonald's with their burgers sitting in holding bins or in a pile on the flat top. How do I KNOW? Simple, when you get your order in ONE minute there is no other way it is possible. Sadly, this location has chosen SPEED over quality......just like almost all burger places these days.....who are under pressure to move the drive thru along FAST.....regardless of what they are delivering to the customer. I will NOT be returning for burgers unless this location changes its attitude. For the SAME price, you can eat next door at Chili's on their Three for Me burger promo, that is HOT and made fresh to order, and even comes with a bowl of soup or salad. Why would anyone go to FB IF they knew about the promo at Chili's? However, I do enjoy their Cobb salad.....but only when it is on sale for $9.99 including a drink. Went through the drive-through had a pretty mid experience asked for extra salsa for my burrito. Worker told me it already comes with salsa even though I knew that and wanted extra on the side, still ended up getting none in the end so my burrito was low-key bland. worker also added an extra item onto my order that I did not want and then when I went back to get my refund for that item she said "well I read back the order so" insinuating it was my fault, even though she did not read back the order in its entirety. In all fairness, the BLT Box that my wife ordered was a good deal with French Fries, and a drink. The BLT was moderately flavorful and was made with good quality products. My Pastrami sandwich did not have any flavor at all, and did not in anyway come close to being Pastrami. Also, the price was too high even if it was flavorful. Apparently Farmer Boys management does not perform quality checks on all of their food products as this lack of quality Pastrami should not be offered on their menu. Farmer boys is one of my favorite fast food joints because I feel healthy eating it. Their salads, burgers, and sides are all delicious! I always get the Cobb salad it's fresh and perfect with their ranch. You can't go wrong with onion rings, zucchini sticks, and fries for the sides. The fries are so crispy. The zucchini is legit a whole zucchini cut into 4 pieces and the onion rings are the same 4 big pieces of an onion. I recently got to try the parmesan crusted sourdough cheese burger and it's the best! It's so flavorful with that bread I prefer it over burger buns. I just ordered two fish sandwiches a chocolate shake and the cheapest hamburger they had in the bill was $36. I'm not complaining about the $36 but I am complaining about the food. I never write a review or shall I say bothered to write one. Here's the exception. I came to this location with my two little boys as they were hungry at 2:04 pm. I waited until 2:28 pm and my order was still not ready. In fact two or three other customers got their order before mines! And those customers ordered bigger items too. I just paid for three cheese burgers and a fry. No one checked on me or anything to say hey order is backed up expect a delay. I was just at a booth with two hungry and impatient toddlers who were being hyperactive. Not sure how I held it together. Now, fuck that dude Noah. I was very frustrated with my experience because the service was unacceptable. My mother has had issues with this store before. Anyway, he looks at me and says there's a lot of people look. The lack of understanding made my blood boil. Whoever is the boss to that location needs to tell him to work on customer service because he sucks, straight up. This is coming from someone who's worked in the food industry for years and has even picked up orders using door dash. What sucks is that I was the only freaking Latino in the store and everyone else were old white people being served. I felt a bit discriminated against to be honest, not by words but by service. This is how I felt and probably the managers didn't intend it but it's what I noticed this time and can be an isolated instance. I forgot who the manager was who refunded me, but she was nice and understood my frustration and didn't act like a smart ass like Noah.
