Tony and his associates are wonderful! I received a very thorough and meticulous mani/pedi. There is a wide variety of color choices and I especially enjoyed the hot stone massage. read more

I have been coming here for the past few years, but today will be the last time. I walked in to an empty salon for a deluxe pedicure. Tony, who is usually pleasant, was not friendly. I chalked it up to him maybe having a bad day and forgot about it. One other woman was working and she took the next pedicure that came in shortly after me. My pedicure was pretty bad overall: rough and fast. Part of my service included callous removal, which he forgot about. The service is listed on the menu as a 45 minute service -- I was on the chair for less than 30 minutes. It was like he couldn't wait to get me out of there fast enough, and I, in turn, couldn't wait to leave, either. I was loyal to this place for its convenience and otherwise good pedicures, but feel they on a downhill slide in both quality and cleanliness. read more

I am obsessed with my nails! Tony did such an amazing job on my acrylic gel manicure. It's perfect and I can't stop looking at my nails. I also come in regularly for a pedicure and am very happy with the service and prices. The salon is nestled in the Libbie Mill Shopping Center (right across from Petsmart). It's a hidden little gem and I will definitely be returning customer. read more

I picked this place on a whim because it was close to Target. There was only Tony and another woman working, so I waited for Tony to finish up with his pedicure before starting my acrylic manicure. He was friendly and the salon was clean. The manicure was fine, he was a little fast as some people have mentioned, but I appreciated that because I hate sitting still. I didn't take the speed personally. He did go hard on my cuticles though, and three of them did bleed, but he also was very open to trying a design I had in mind so I appreciated that. In the end, my nails turned out really well and they are really comfortable. I feel beautiful. I would go back but I would ask him not to clip my cuticles so much. P.S. you can tip with a credit card even though it says you cannot. read more

Felt a bad vibe the second I walked in. I should've gone with my gut. The massage chair is horrible. I had to turn it off after a minute because it was so loud. Need a serious upgrade. They brought out an old, beat up train case of supplies, which were all just thrown in there and were clearly never cleaned. Horrible experience overall and I was absolutely baffled when I went to pay and saw that they were charging me $50. $50?!? I should have gone back to the place I'd been before. Could have had a much better experience for $15 cheaper. I don't have very high expectations and didn't think a basic pedicure could be so disappointing. Absolutely do not recommend. read more

This might have been one of the best manicures I ever had if I were judging strictly on the paint job. Small space, perfectly intimate. The staff was friendly and well trained. They have lots of different color options, including color-changing polish. Very happy... They will have my business for a long time. read more

I have bern coming here off & on since the early 2000s and it is always a peaceful and pleas ent experience. As the business has grown i have switched from a walk-in customer to a by-appointment one for the best experience. I really appreciate that. They always do a consistently good job and I feel great when I walk out. read more

I got my nails done on a whim and was really pleased with the experience. They are quick, professional, friendly, and reasonably priced. I walked in on a weekday and was the only customer, so I was taken immediately. The spa is small but bright and clean. I opted for a natural manicure and there were dozens of OPI polishes to choose from on the wall. The technicians was very nice but also respected that I was happy to sit in silence and relax. I have extremely dry skin and brittle nails, but she was gentle and precise as she worked. I was in and out of the salon in 30 minutes with perfectly shaped and painted nails for $14, and I couldn't be happier. read more

Fantastique Nails & Spa - Natural manicure for $14. Truly a drastic improvement from how they looked before! - Nail Salons Near Me - Richmond, Virginia

Absolutely fantastic. One of the best manicures I've ever had. And the cheapest. Lily is amazing. After I was seated and wrapped to get my old manicure off, she offered me a bottle of water, and then gave me a shoulder and back massage which I needed so bad. She has the best hands. She made my cuticles look amazing!!! Lily is an amazing conversationalist, never made it feel awkward. She was so sweet. And so detailed! It did make the manicure take longer, so maybe don't go if you are in a time crunch, but definitely go back! It was worth it. My nails look better than they ever have. The hand massage at the end was finished with a hot towel-superb. A couple things to note-you should bring cash to tip, and credit cards can't be used on a transaction under $14. It was also hard to find-I almost gave up but I'm so glad I didn't. Apple Maps has it in the middle of the street near O'Reilly, but it is in the strip mall by Target, next to AT&T, across from Barnes and Noble. The two negatives I noticed: the tv played sports, which is just a pet peeve of mine, and I hardly noticed. Two, someone was cleaning the salon while I was there, like mopping and scrubbing the pedicure tubs, which I thought was strange because I was there two hours before it closed. Maybe they weren't expecting anyone else? These were just very minor annoyances, I still give it a five star. If you ever need any services, I highly recommend coming here-I will certainly be coming back! read more

DO NOT GO HERE. THEY USE MMA LIQUID AND NOT EMA. MMA EATS YOUR NAIL PLATE AND DETACHES ITSELF FROM YKUR SKIN. HAPPENED TO ME FROM GETTING MY NAILS DONE. MANICURE WAS MESSY AND TONY IS ROUGH. HE IS THE OWNER. HE DOESNT DO WELL WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE! I asked for a specific color under my French design and he proceeded to use a clear. I went back to ask tony about why my nail is lifting and he said it's from my natural nail. I don't understand how that happens when 4 of my nails are doing this and they HURTTTTT! I will be calling someone to come and inspect the salon, it's not okay to be using dental liquid and not the PROPER nail liquid, y'all are broke and too cheap to invest in the real deal. read more

My manicurist dropped my "sanitized" tool on the floor and then picked it up and started to use it again. I had to ask for it to be cleaned, and then she just rinsed it off in the sink. She was extremely rough when pushing my cuticles back and actually cut the skin on my pinky so that it was bleeding. It still hurts! At the end, she left nail polish on several of my fingers. I could have done a better job myself. read more

This place was the worse. Tony will tell you to come in to get his service, but then rush your whole process. I thought a pedicure or anything service is suppose to be relaxing. Sorry for thinking that. They will not greet you when you come in. The quality of work is terrible. My nails were as long as my nail bed and he charged me for long nails. FYI... Pay attention when you only see an owner ,one other work and basically no customers. It's for a reason. read more

Took my pre-teen daughter for her first spa pedicure and now she is ruined. She will probably want hot stone massage on her feet and legs all of the time! We were walk ins at this place, first time customers, and we were treated well. It is clean and calm, although there was a steady flow of customers in and out. The team made my daughter feel like a princess. And I felt pretty darn good, too. read more

Today I came here for manicure for the first time. I had an appointment at 5 pm, but the staff was busy, and I was told to wait. I said that I had an appointment and have no time to wait. I have been going here for years, but my last visit completely turned me off. They usually take walkins but I like to call ahead to see if there's a wait. The man said no wait and scheduled me for the next hour. I show up and there is only one guy working and three women having their nails done in various stages. It was like watching musical chairs. I ended up sitting there waiting for 30 minutes past my appointment. I finally sit down and he wraps my gel in foil to be removed. This man for real takes a call on speaker and then casually gets up puts on his coat AND LEAVES for another thirty minutes. So here I am sitting here with prune fingers waiting for this man to come back and all these other women are here w me waiting. He then comes back and proceeds to give me the most painful, messy manicure. I should not have paid. Idk why I paid. I only stayed to kill time before meeting someone. I just don't understand why they would tell me to come in and then keep taking walkins and then also just leave in the middle?! read more

Had a great experience here! My friend and I both got a gel manicure and pedicure right when they opened on a Saturday. Really kind staff and calm environment. I've been to Fantastique a few times over the last year or so. Every time I've visited I've had pretty decent service, up until my most recent visit. Yesterday I went in to have my nails dipped with Tony. We decided on an ombré French tip style. The final result was very uneven in color and not at all identical to the style I requested. Tony was accommodating and at his suggestion painted over my nails with gel polish. Within hours of leaving the salon, most of the gel polish had peeled off on its own. I called Fantastique and was instructed to come back today at 12:30. I arrived early for my appointment but was still not seen until 1:00. I originally asked for my nails to just be re dipped a solid color for fear of ending up in the same situation with gel polish. When Tony finally got to me, I asked if I would be able to have my nails re- dipped and still leave by 2:00( now that we were 30 minutes behind schedule). He got very ugly with me. Falsely told another client he was working on that I was late, told me it was my fault that the color I chose didn't stick, and complained that I was rushing him. At this point, he told me he had another appointment to get to and I would have to wait even longer. After being berated for the better part of 15 minutes, in front of other customers, I left in tears. My manicure was semi soaked off and he refused a refund. I truly wish zero stars was an option. I'll attach photos of the 24hour old manicure that look 10x better than their customer service! read more

This was by far the worst pedi and mani I've ever had in my life. They were not professional at all. The lady who did the pedi( I really don't know her name) seemed to be very new at this and didn't have enough experience. On he other hand the guy who did my hands his name is Tony, said he's been doing this for 17 years!! He didn't do a good job. The water he used for manicure was almost cold, he didn't use any products not even for softening cuticles,TWO of my my finger nails were not fined smoothly and were catching on my clothes! and when I got home I realized one of the nails was actually cracked and he painted it anyway. Another thing, his nails were VERY long, dirty and had black stuff underneath! Definitely not going there again. read more

Happy to find this nail salon is open after Covid. Have gone there over the past 3 years and have found it one of the best equipped and most professional. Very friendly, exceptional cleanliness and quiet space for a mani/pedi. Good individual attention and care. Excellent price

I have been coming here 2x a month for 3 years. They do a nice pedicure manicure. In that 3 years I have usually seen the same technician., Lily. I always tip 20% cash. The 3 stars instead of 5 is because of the lack of acknowledgement from the owner Tony, and the technicians.. You would think I was a complete stranger. I always smile and greet them and yet I am greeted coldly. I have watched other people come in to the salon and be greeted warmly even hugged. From now on I will take my business somewhere else. read more

This salon is awesome. All of the ladies who work there are very friendly and clearly have a lot of experience; their work is always excellent. They always take their time and don't rush you out after. My mom and I got pedicures today and they did the massage with warm stones, which was heavenly. I have been getting my nails done here for at least 2 years. Usually great but IMPOSSIBLE to be seen on time even with an appointment. I called today and was told 40mins. Went in and was told it was a 2 hour wait! It's like this all the time!! I gave up and have decided to take my business elsewhere if even as a regular I can't be seen on time what is the point? Love this place! It's been hard to find a nail salon in RVA that delivers quality work and finally after years of searching, I found Fantastique! Tony is the bomb. He perfects my nails every time. My girlfriend and I had the day off yesterday and we are both prepping for beach out-of-town trips so getting a pedicure was definitely on the agenda. We called a few places before settling on Fantastique because they offered the best price for $25 for a spa pedicure. We had a great experience - we called before-hand and the gentleman we spoke with said they could take us in about 30 minutes so we walked right in with no wait! The spa pedicure was great, the gentleman that took care of it trimmed and filed my nails, removed the calluses on my feet, and included a hot stone massage. The oil they use smells fantastic! The service was quick and I left really happy with my pedicure. I hope to be back soon for a pedicure and manicure combo! read more

I noticed this nail salon on the way out of Target and got a great pedicure and gel manicure. The women who work here are friendly and were very patient with me while I obsessed over what colors to choose for my mani and pedi. They have a large selection of colors for regular and gel polishes-too many for me to choose from, apparently! Plus it's very clean. And most importantly, their work is perfection. I love glitter polishes and sometimes I leave with my nails a little bumpy, but they managed to make my glitter polish super smooth. The prices are on par with other salons.
