It was nice to just walk in this Libbie Mill salon on a Saturday and be seated right away! I was impressed to see the tools for the mani/pedis are individually wrapped to maintain hygiene. They provide you with a huge plastic ring of nail palettes to make your color choice. However, the numbers don't match the colors. I wasn't crazy about how the color turned out. My fingernails and toenails didn't match. Weird. I prefer when salons have the actual nail polish bottle colors on a wall so you know exactly what color you are getting. Although the nail tech did an ok job, she layered on the polish so thick that my nails looked clumpy and you could see the line between the layers. Also, after a day, they started peeling. I've definitely had better manicures and pedicures, and with so many shops on every corner, they may need to up their game. Lastly, they only take cash tips. Very inconvenient. I've noticed this trend in a lot of nail salons and it hurts the business. Most people seldom carry cash anymore. Here's a tip: As a business, they need to suck it up and pay the credit card fees for better customer service and to help the nail techs get their tip. My tech said she took Venmo, so I sent her a tip that way, but I don't think the business should expect the employees to figure out ways to get tipped.
Do not waste your money or time. I went here for a simple gel nail polish before a vacation and twelve hours later my nail was chipped. What a disaster! Not to mention I called the very next day to share the mishap with the business and requested that my nail be fixed when I returned home. The business owner said they cannot lose money by fixing my nail when I return from vacation in two weeks. Oh but get this they repair single gel nails for free? Wait what? The staff are rude, greedy, irrational, and cannot perform a simple gel polish. If you want to pay for poor work visit this salon if not there are literally hundreds of salons within 5 miles of this place. I live in the neighborhood and vow to tell all my neighbors including you not to go here.
I tried this place for the first time and let me start by saying the little doggy they have there is by far the best thing there. one lady started my nails opff to a good start but when I asked to change color, a man randomly approached me and said that's all the color they have in store. and I replied with I know and he came and took over for other lady and started doing my nails. he was so rough and sloppy. worst nail job I ever received and when I complained and asked him to fix it. he did nothing about it and said pay 25$. I WILL NEVER BE GOING TO THIS PLACE AGAIN. unfortunately my nails are now screwed for the event I have tonight
I came in for UV gel builder. I get this service quite often at other salons. I asked if I needed a full set since it has been a while and the male staff member stated no just a fill in as my nails are still in good condition. I also inquired about the lack of layers he put on my nails. Typically with UV gel multiple layers are put on. He stated their polish is strong and I don't need many layers. As he put 2 on only. Fast forward to one of my nails chipping only after a week of wear. I would've went back to fix or take off but I was out of town. Fast forward to now 3 weeks later all of my nails are starting to chip and the polish is peeling off. UV gel builder should never chip or peel off. Not sure what he put on my nails but they look terrible and damaged. If you're not able to do UV gel or if you don't have the polish just say that. Don't charge me for a more expensive service than what you're giving.
Lien gave me the best mani/pedi I've ever had! She took great care with each step, nothing was rushed or overlooked. I had such a relaxed experience. I am not a review person, and I don't often get my nails done because I've had such mixed experiences, but I will absolutely be back at Radiant. I LOVE my nails!
I love this place. They're professional, sanitary and they really take their time. They seem to have a lot of regulars and they I have only ever had wonderful nail techs. After 2 visits I have decided this will be my go-to place in Richmond.
Would really like to give more than one star, but I can't. For $45 I got a dip manicure that was less than appealing. The station I was at was very dirty and so were the tools. I felt gross in there. They were nice, but when a "regular" came in, I was rushed out. Will probably not be back.
Radiant Nails is very accommodating. They are friendly and thorough as well as patient when I can't decide on a color haha. Not only is their customer service wonderful but their creativity and attention to detail is great! And they are affordable!! I am very pleased with every service I have had and would highly recommend!

This is my new place!!! I have tried so many nail places and this is probably the best mani I've ever gotten. I walked in with no appointment, got a beautiful builder gel nail set, and was out in ~40min. So fast, nails are perfect, and prices were super affordable. I wish I found this sooner! read more

Kim is my favorite technician she is warm and friendly! They offer you points and a 5% discount if you pay with cash. If you pay with a credit card there is a 4% fee. The salon has a dog named Sonny that lays around the shop and is very friendly! read more

This is the worst place to have your nails done. This is what they did to my nails. I don't know what was wrong but their customer service is the worst . They made me pay $30 for this mess right here. read more

Kelly and Andy have such a great nail salon. Everyone is very friendly and they do such a great work. The pedicures are very relaxing the scrubs and hot towels just take it to the next level! Super convenient in the Libby Mill midtown just off 64 and staples mills rd! read more

I came up to Richmond for diet together and was 2 1/2 hours early. I decided that I wanted to get my nails done last minute and I found them very quickly. They were full however they were friendly, I was greeted immediately, and was in a chair within 12 minutes of entering. I was in and out of the chair within 45 minutes and my nails look amazing. She was gentle but efficient. I will be coming back monthly to get them done. read more

I got a pedicure from here and this is what my toe nail looks like. Save your money, they still made me pay for this even though the service HURT and I had to pull TOOTH AND NAIL for the lady to do the service the way I was watching everyone else's get done. They just LOST a big customer. Save your money and time read more
