Walking in, accessories and handbag are to the right, register into the left. The shoes are categorized by heels, sneakers, flats, boots and separated by gender. It's easy to identify and I know where to go immediately when I'm shopping. And they have mirrors in each area to try on shoes. They have a free VIP membership to sign up and for every pair of shoes donated, they give you 50 points. 2 pairs, you get a $5 reward, 4 pairs, $10, etc. The only gimmick is you can only donate once a week (the new week starts on Sun). Parking in this plaza is okay. Depending on how busy it is, sometimes I have to park further away but I don't mind the walk. Overall Service: The staff I've interacted with here has been super friendly! I haven't had a single bad experience and I go here a lot. If there's something, in particular, you can't find in your size, just ask, they can order it for you and ship it to the store, I think they also offer to ship it home too as an option.

Over the past 2 years or so I've been shopping at Talbots more and more. I thought it was going to…read morebe my "go-to" store. Not that anyone is going to retire from my clothing purchases, but Talbots has received more of my recent spending dollars than any other company. With Talbots, I've shopped online, at outlets, brick and mortar stores, and I'm also in their rewards program. On Wednesday 4/17/2024 I visited the Stratham, NH store to see if I could find a new pair of jeans to jump on the wide-leg trend. After several different styles (Talbots, if you're reading this, please work on your size consistency!), I found a pair I thought I was really happy with and purchased them. The jeans went straight to my closet from the car. On Sunday, 4/21/2024 I decided to wear them to a brunch. I had them on as I was getting ready and started to feel that they were just a bit too big (the pant itself is pretty heavy) and after a 15-20 minutes I decided to wear something else I felt more comfortable in. Sadly for me, I had taken the tags off and tossed them because I really thought they were going to be fun. On Tuesday, 4/23/24 (**six** days later), I brought them back to Talbots really just hoping I could exchange them for a smaller size. The sales associate consulted with the store manager who replied with a hard NO. No exchange, no return, no store credit without the tags. Didn't matter that I had just bought them at that very store just six days previously, she just wouldn't have it. I'm not sure if this is an actual Talbots policy, as this is the first time I've had this situation. It's hard to image that a retail store can't create a tag, but maybe that's true for them? Even still, I was pretty taken aback that Talbots had such a severe return policy, especially for repeat customers. And it's not as if the Talbots name isn't clearly attached to every garment! Those jeans went from Talbots, my home, back to Talbots...that's it. If that truly is your return policy Talbots, you really need to have your sales staff drum that into the heads of every person that buys from you. Needless to say, I will no longer be shopping with Talbots and I'm disappointed by that. Also disappointed that I have a $129.00 pair of jeans that I don't feel comfortable in. If you're a size 6 and want a cute pair of jeans let me know, I'll give you a discount!

When you scream at your mom that she's not fair because she won't let you get a tat that you've wanted forever (3 days) and she keeps asking you about your homework. Okay maybe not THAT young, but close. Anyway, this is a place to check out if you're looking to be the coolest kid in school. But if you go for too many years you'll walk in, realize that it's full of kids, and walk out. I can't fault them for targeting a particular demographic, but I can give people some warning. :)

It goes without saying that "Crocs" has to be about the most prosaic epithet for a store ever. And…read morethat's the point. For there's no better place to go for a nice pair Crocs than....Crocs. Well, almost. The one thing holding me back from giving these guys a perfect score is the limited supply. Now, while I can understand the impossibility of having every type of Croc ever (especially in such a modestly sized store), I still expect to find my shoe size regardless of design. After all, upon a quick glance it really didn't look like they were out of anything. That is....until I saw the pair I wanted; the black and white tye-dye Crocs. Guess what! They had nearly every other size except 10. Because....of course they didn't. Which meant that naturally, I ended up buying the pair I needed off of Amazon. But, I digress. More importantly, the staff are friendly and willing to help you find whatever you need. They most certainly encouraged my wife to spend more than she probably intended to upon entry. But I guess you could chalk that up to their remarkable ability to invigorate American consumerism to its highest potential. At the time of our visit, they were running a sale of sorts. Upon closer inspection of their 25% off signs, however, it turns out that's only AFTER purchasing the first item at full price. Second item gets the discount. It's important to note this doesn't apply to all the items in the store either. The prices aren't exactly cheap, but not impossibly expensive either. True, you can probably get these same Crocs for less online. Still, this is a perfectly fine store to check out if you want a pair of Crocs without having to wait around for shipping. Plus, being located within the confines of The Kittery Outlets means this place is wicked close to the NH border. An underrated delight such as Crocs at The Outlets at Kittery deserves 4 comfy pairs of tye-dye Crocs out of 5.
