I finally found the store and there were two older women at the counter yapping about some trip and covid. I was in there about 20 min and the women (so can't blame young age) could not be bothered to even say hi even as walked by them. They were non stop yapping. I was set to buy a few items but if they couldn't be bothered then I couldn't equally be bothered to hand over money. Even when I left no comment which I figured no goodbye would be said. Wow in this day and age when businesses are struggling to survive, you think they might be more customer focused.

I inquired if the battery had been done correctly. She took it back and went to work on it and brought it back saying it appeared the watch was broken and offered to send it out for repair. I just had the most bizarre interaction over 90 seconds of dropping off items to be donated where…read morethe young man receiving the goods got approval from the senior older man and the next thing I know the younger man is staring me down as if he wanted to fight me because I suggested to him that one of the drawers he was taking, went to another dresser that he might want to put it with that dresser to which he turned to me and wanted to literally almost fistfight me in front of my wife as we were trying to make a donation. I am shocked at this behavior.

I sent pictures of flowers and ideas about what I wanted the arrangements and venue to look like and she said it would not be a problem. Again, just before the wedding date, I reached out to her to remind her of what I wanted and send in the last payment. Wedding day 2024 finally arrived. Unfortunately the flowers were a big disappointment. Let's start with the isle and arbor. She FORGOT the decorations. I had ordered 10 cones filled with baby breath and two large ferns to be placed on the chairs and the ferns at the entrance to the isle. Arbor: I requested the arbor flowers be set up left upper corner and right lower portion. What I got was 3 bunch of flowers just affixed without any direction. The flowers were dead, leaves some were dead. It looked like a child put it together. The wreaths I requested were placed on the wrong doors and no tulle was placed on them. The venue: ordered lanterns and balloons with lights in them. The lanterns were placed above the dance floor but the balloons were not placed on the floor In cluster of 3 near columns. Instead she put them in the ceiling. The the table arrangement were the right size but flowers looked old. In many cases the guard petals were still on. Overall dissatisfied, based on the time and information I provided Lisa the results should have been better. The flowers were cheap, filler flowers cheap and implementation and execution jus terrible. She was at the venue approached me and started to apologize to me during family time. We agreed that it was not the right time. On 8/5 I contacted her and again she apologized. The end result, she freely offered a small refund that we both agreed upon. No amount of money will recreate the vision I had and after holding her hand it should never have happened. She was juggling another event and dropped the ball. I will not use her again, not even for memorial bouquet!!! If you are wondering what she charged me... it was over 6000.00 thousand dollars and I am certain that the flowers were not worth more than 1500.00 dollars. I got 1500.00 back. She ruined the day. I made 10 arrangements for the rehearsal dinner and my guests thought they were done by a florist and I am not a florist. Go elsewhere for your special day needs.

They're answer was that it was to old, can't get parts, unrepairable. Cost of replacement, Including new fireplace, ripping out the old one, removing existing mantle, yadda yadda yadda, about $15,000. Dave, from Jackson shows up, takes a look, and "Sure, we can fix this, no problem. 2 weeks later, Dave is back with the "unavailable" part, and 2 hours later he's done. Fireplace work great, it was like he was never here, except that the fireplace worked. He also fixed a problem with the external vent being to close to the clapboard siding. "Who Knew?' Dave did. When you call Jackson, insist on Dave. Knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and an attention to detail that impressed even me, and I can be a little OCD.

We landed on the Kozy Heat Oakport gas stove which is modern and efficient and warms us right up. Installation was a breeze because JFP handled everything, including a new chimney through the roof. I spent more time in this store than I should've but bought several birthday cards that were pretty neat. Many of them were either made from recycled materials or had soy free ink, not the usual Hallmark crap. The store is a decent size & they have other random household items that they sell here. Yeah come in & take a gander, you never know what might find.

I have been consigning at Pandora's box for about 3 years. I absolutely recommend them to any consignors or customers. As soon as my items are received, I get an updated inventory listing ALL items I have in their store. When items are sold, I not only get my check right on time, but it comes with a detailed list of what sold and for how much. I am completely satisfied with every aspect of my arrangement with them. A family member who was also very satisfied was the one who recommended them to me. I do not work for them, I am not related to them. Can we just please put the prices on items at their cost and not this BS "sale" that you've had for years now. Great shop, lots of stuff! But I don't be back. Place is a fire hazard as well. Hate to do this to a small business, but when I feel slighted by one I'm not going to sugar coat my experience.
