It goes without saying that "Crocs" has to be about the most prosaic epithet for a store ever. And that's the point. For there's no better place to go for a nice pair Crocs than....Crocs.
Well, almost.
The one thing holding me back from giving these guys a perfect score is the limited supply. Now, while I can understand the impossibility of having every type of Croc ever (especially in such a modestly sized store), I still expect to find my shoe size regardless of design. After all, upon a quick glance it really didn't look like they were out of anything.
That is....until I saw the pair I wanted; the black and white tye-dye Crocs. Guess what! They had nearly every other size except 10. Because....of course they didn't. Which meant that naturally, I ended up buying the pair I needed off of Amazon. But, I digress.
More importantly, the staff are friendly and willing to help you find whatever you need. They most certainly encouraged my wife to spend more than she probably intended to upon entry. But I guess you could chalk that up to their remarkable ability to invigorate American consumerism to its highest potential.
At the time of our visit, they were running a sale of sorts. Upon closer inspection of their 25% off signs, however, it turns out that's only AFTER purchasing the first item at full price. Second item gets the discount. It's important to note this doesn't apply to all the items in the store either.
The prices aren't exactly cheap, but not impossibly expensive either. True, you can probably get these same Crocs for less online. Still, this is a perfectly fine store to check out if you want a pair of Crocs without having to wait around for shipping. Plus, being located within the confines of The Kittery Outlets means this place is wicked close to the NH border.
An underrated delight such as Crocs at The Outlets at Kittery deserves 4 comfy pairs of tye-dye Crocs out of 5. read more
