First time ever actually going into KTP and i thought it was so cool. They have a little bit of everything in the outdoors type world. Fishing and bait, rugged work gear, sneakers and boots, camping gear, survival gear. They have KTP pricing which can be found cheaper here than other places you might find name brand like North face and canada goose. They also have known worker brands that I'm not too familiar with but the materials and build quality felt high end and warm. They also have plenty of button down shirts, cargo pants, tee shirts, wool socks, Stanley and yeti cups. Variety. Stop in and see what you find that you didn't know you needed haha

The hubby and I stopped in here to grab a few things. This place is outdoors man's dream! So many name brand high quality clothing and items. Lots of sales too. I couldn't resist and got 3 pairs of shoes along with a ton of souvenirs. Ill be back in a couple of months and I know exactly where to get my winter coat! The cashiers and sales people were very friendly. I love this place. I think we were here for nearly 2.5 hours and we didn't even see half of this place. I highly recommend this place for all your outdoor needs.

We made another successful and fun visit to the Trading Post. This big store is well worth a visit. IT covers a lot of territory, and you should plan on taking several hours to fully explore it. Since our last visit they have moved hunting and fishing equipment to the second floor. It seems kind of crowded there now, but it's not a section where we often browse. We spend much of our time in the casual/sport clothing areas. The Trading Post carries a lot of the big names like North Face, Patagonia, Kuhl and -- if you're into upscale -- Canada Goose. Most of it is very good quality, and we've made some excellent purchases over the years. But do keep in mind this is NOT an outlet; prices don't seem unreasonable to us, but most items wouldn't be labeled cheap. They do carry lots of Maine souvenir items, and they often aren't terribly expensive (we got some tees and sweaters labeled "Maine" in big letters for under $20. There are so many items to explore here that we really recommend that you don't hurry through. The staff is helpful with directions (we never seem able to find the hats) and product descriptions. The bathroom are clean, and there's a tasty snack bar outside. Outside also is a large tent which does have discounted/outlet items including clothing and outdoor furniture. There's lots of free parking. Everything else probably will cost you (lol).

This is a must stop if you want Maine souvenirs or high quality sporting clothing or equipment or guns. The shop is 2 full floors and you can easily spend an hour just taking your time to look at everything. Want dip mix? Speciality jams? BBQ sauces? Popover mix? Christmas Ornaments? Candles? Many types of candy and fudge? Hot sweet nuts? Live lobster? Maine T-shirts, sweatshirts, pants? Sherpa socks? Need a new hunting coat? A fishing rod? A book about Maine's back country? A new pair of Ugg's? You get the point. If you can't find it here, you probably won't find it. Really a great selection of items and well worth a stop for gifts.

My cousin took me the the Trading Post to find a sweatshirt during my recent visit. The store is somewhat of a tourist attraction with rooms and rooms of New England themed clothing, sporting and camping gear and lots of souvenirs. During my visit, the store was crowded with shoppers filling carts. The Post carries brands such as Carhartt, North Face, Merrill and more. The store was packed with merchandise, probably in anticipation of Christmas shopping. Personally, I felt it was a bit cluttered in parts. Prices were mixed with some good deals to be found. I picked up a couple things including a big box of pulled taffy. They have free parking. There was a long line to use the restroom. Staff at the check out were friendly and efficient.

This place is massive... like wow! Locals said this was a must stop, walking in there was a large display of the very popular Stanley reusable bottles in every color. Definitely makes me laugh, my dad used an old one back in the 70's. Tons of clothing everywhere, active wear to specific outdoor wear like water resistant pants, Walking around the store it's set up in categories, a fishing area. Where there is even canoes. Huge selection of gun and ammunition, so many knives on display.each area has knowledge staff to help with questions and concerns. There is a small fudge cart/area that was very popular, I got some to bring g home. Very reasonable priced. I thing my favorite part of the store is they have different animals mounted throughout each area. To see a moose up close was cool.

This place is an absolute outdoor lovers dream. I was so surprised and I cannot wait to go back. They have so many different items for sale. Pricing is decent, and some items are even on sale. Everyone was friendly and helpful. So glad we checked it out. Cannot wait to go back.

If you are into any kind of outdoor activities this is the place to shop. This is a massive sporting goods store with everything you could think of and then some. If you are looking to buy, or just window shopping this is a very cool fun place to shop. Plan on being here for awhile because there is just so much to see in this store. Another thing I liked was each department had knowledgeable staff.

Cute store with well priced items. We went here as a recommendation by a local for "Maine merch". Several options in the men's section for shirts. Women's section was very limited.

Got most of the outdoor brands, and everyone is helpful. Also the prices are great for a local business fighting with the likes of Amazon.

Completely unacceptable experience here…read more I was the only customer in the shoe department. I waited over twenty five minutes, hoping to try on several pairs of shoes in my size. Two young employees in the shoe department were focused on restocking; after fifteen minutes of waiting, I asked one of them for assistance. (I also heard on one of their radios that someone was waiting for assistance in the shoe department. That'd be me - the only customer in the shoe department.) The two young employees avoided eye contact and the one I asked for help from told me the other employee would help me - I waited another ten minutes and neither stopped restocking to help me. I felt invisible, and angry, that I even bothered driving the 30 minutes it took to get here. I was planning on buying at least two expensive pairs of shoes for the upcoming school year - but alas, I'll be looking elsewhere. Not sure if the pressure to restock is so great from higher-ups or if the two young workers were simply avoiding working with customers. Either way, I will NEVER be back in this Dick's as there is clearly something wrong in this location. Looking at the other Yelp reviews, I'm not the only one with a bad shoe department experience. What a shame.

We were greeted upon walking in and they let us know everything in store was 50% off. In general I think Under Armour makes quality stuff that typically will last awhile. My wife definitely took advantage of the deal they were running and snagged 4 things for under $70 and one of them was suppose to be $60 by itself. We both will be keeping this place in mind for athletic wear needs in the future. Likely won't have the 50% off that often but if we are in the area we will check their offerings again. The only real negative I noticed was when we were waiting in the check out line, one particular staff member. The two cashiers were friendly and appeared to be working hard, but a customer checking out must have paid with a large bill and they did not have the correct bills for change in the drawer. Then I suspect a manager came over to assist and needed to go out back to grab the cash. Despite the ever growing line waiting to check out, the manager had almost no rush and very much took their time. Just a little surprised by this. Overall we will return and would visit this spot over other Under Armour locations.

I didn't feel pressured, I felt like the person was really interested in helping me find something that would suit me. It was a very good buying experience. We came back about a week later to look for a bike for my wife and were helped by a teenage employee. We said our budget was X and he showed us a couple of bikes. My wife tried them both out and liked one. So we said we'd like it. Came inside to buy it and at the register he said "Oh, the price is actually Y", which was 300 dollars over our range! That was really frustrating. I suspect this might just be a training issue, but that was a serious disappointment on that second visit. I will definitely still come back because I liked the shop, but be careful about who you get to help you.

Their customer service and knowledge of all types of riders and bikes is why I choose to patronize them, as well as why I will send all my friends who I try to convince to get into cycling. They truly just want you to get the best bike for yourself. Not the most expensive or the flashiest bike. They know their stuff and they truly just want to match everyone to a bike that will make them happy and give them the best riding experience. Their repair staff is also top notch. I have had some whacky issues with my bikes over the years and they have solved them every single time. Several years ago, I purchased an Orbea mountain bike through them. Unfortunately, there was a manufacturers defect with the dropper post (not Papa Wheelie's fault - a manufacturing issue). The staff at Papa Wheelie's took my bike in and took care of the entire process in dealing with the claim and getting the part from the manufacturer and got me back on my bike quite quickly considering many of the parts were coming in from Spain. I am always team support your local bike shop, but I am specifically team support Papa Wheelies as your lbs, because they truly care. Yes, you can order a bike online direct from manufacturers, but nothing beats the experience of going in and working with the people at Papa Wheelies to figure out what bike works for you and making adjustments to that bike or getting a bike fit to make sure that it is the best possible machine you can ride. It's an investment and Papa Wheelies makes that process 100 times easier. Lastly, I'll add that bikes can be expensive. Tax on expensive things can be expensive. New Hampshire doesn't have taxes. Are you doing the math with me? If you are buying a bike for several thousand dollars in other New England states, you can end up paying several hundred dollars in taxes. You can avoid that by heading on up to beautiful tax free New Hampshire and buying your bike at Papa Wheelies.
