Seems like a typical Goodwill but smaller than the ones I am used to. Shelves for knickknacks are up front and seem cluttered. Sure wish they would organize it better to bake it easier to go thru the items. Perhaps installing more shelving units would be good. read more

Yes you can find a few bargains, but prices have skyrocketed. Women's used outdated blouses $10?. Often prices higher than buying new. Seems exploitive. Used candles $5? Salvation Army much more reasonable. I think higher management (who dictates pricing) is misguided. I talked to several people who no longer take their donations there due to inflated pricing. I almost didn't review this place because it has bad ratings and that kinda makes it a hidden gem. But yeah no. I came out to Seabrook for my birthday tradition of beach and lobster and thought I'd do a little thrifting before coming home. Um. This is the BEST Goodwill I have ever been in. Ever. I didn't get to rifle thru the clothes much because ... husband. But the furniture and homewares and jewelry, OMG! They have tons of brand new stuff. Like aisles and aisles. And some of their pricing is wayyyy better than the capital region, NYS. Like all the jewelry. I took a few quick vids panning around but they don't do it justice. Plus this goodwill tries to sort by size. It wasn't perfect but darn close. Also there was a weird and aggressive anti masker harassing the cashiers and they were just trying to do their darn jobs. Offered him a free mask. Ugh. But yeah. So huge and clean and organized and super nice stuff! I found a bunch of things and now I wanna make the 3.5 hour trek again to show my fellow thrifting bestie. read more

This is a brand new building that is awesome! The dressing rooms are big with nice hooks and bench. I was able to push my cart in and try on my clothes. There is a maximum of 5 items in the dressing room but they were all open and it wasn't busy so I brought in a few more, with permission of course. There are lots of racks to select from. It is all well organized by color and size. I was really happy to see petite sizes. The people were friendly and helpful. The women area is on the left and the men's area on the right as you walk in. They color code items with different color plastic ties or they have price labels. The prices are labeled at the end of the racks so pants were about $6.00. They plastic ties are hard to notice at first but the prices are reasonable. I signed up for a 10% coupon which cost me $10.00. I figure either way the money going forward will be beneficial. read more

I definitely agree NOT to donate your items to this location. This review isn't about, " me" & I more than realize our visitor COVID-19 has changed our lives in numerous ways. However, it took me considerable time to purposely pack items well in clear, plastic totes because I am disabled an unable to make several trips back & forth to their outdoor boxes lifting each one individually from inside my car. I PURPOSELY PHONED THE STORE PRIOR to just showing up & explained my situation. It was agreed with the store manager that I could & would lift the clear, plastic totes with the items inside out of my car & put them in their bin. When I arrived it was a completely different story. An associate told me that there is no way they will take my items in the plastic totes. I explained that I'd phoned & spoke directly with their store manager etc. I reiterated that I will take each tote & put it directly into the bin. Nope, again I was told that isn't acceptable. By now I'll admit I was losing patience. I told him to go inside & speak with the store manager. Well, after some time he came outside with someone who I hadn't spoken with. I ended up going thru the whole thing again explaining it as simply as possible. I suppose the concept too much....or too deep? The acting manager said they can't handle anything... I agreed & said - well someone has to once the items are put in the general bin? Or do they magically end up sorted & priced on store shelves? Ok, I know, I know I got sarcastic. .. Anyway this whole thing just ended because I realized that there are plenty of other donation centers. Oh, and what I was trying to donate were 8 large clear bins loaded with my store's last year Holiday decorations.! read more

I've shopped here on and off for years, almost never finding anything of worth, but on occasion finding one or two things. The main issue I have with this location is the pushy old man in the sweater vest and glasses who I've asked numerous times not to touch me or grab things out of my hands. I've had it with this guy and won't be returning. On top of being the slowest cashier in history he talks to you like you're stupid, grabs credit cards out of your hand while you're waiting for the green light on the machine to turn on, throws the credit card back on the counter, and is all around rude. I don't understand how he is always on shift, I'm guessing it's because this location is always bare shelves and overpriced. I don't typically shop at thrift stores but on a whim decided to stop in. Incredible deals on housewares and furniture. I bought a 3 drawer chest for $5. Yes, it wasn't made really well, but for $5? The employee in the back loaded it in the back of my car by himself, which I appreciated. I also found an old fashioned chenille blanket that is in style now, mint condition, for $8. Employees here are very helpful and go out of their way to assist you. read more

I've been to a lot of Goodwill stores across the USA. This one is better than most for cleanliness, organization and helpful employees. The downside is prices tend to be a bit more expensive that I would like to see. T-shirts for $3.99 and non-name polo shirts for $6 is a bit much for a thrift store. Nevertheless, there are some great deals to be found. My wife found a great pair of Nike hiking boots for $6 that were in nearly mint condition. She compared them in eBay for $60. Likewise, I found a great Auburn University ball cap (WDE) that was new for only $2. This store also does a color of the week deal. That means starting on Sunday of each week a new color price tag is 50% off. If you hit that sale early, you will score some great deals. Also, this Goodwill offers a discount card that is good for a % off your purchase. The card is good throughout NH, VT and ME. Bottom line: While I might like to have lower standard prices, there are still deals to be had. When you work the discounts, you can really score. read more

DO NOT DONATE HERE! The staff was rude and they have no regard for the items being donated! You might as well put you stuff in the garbage because that's how they treated all donated items! I literally watched who I can only assume was the manager forcefully toss items in the glass only bin and I cringed when all the glass inside broke!!! Last Friday my wife and I drove 20 miles to this Seabrook Goodwill donation center to drop off clothes only to find they had restricted hours, OK. We checked drop off hours today, Monday, and called to confirm that it was OK to drop our 4 bags of clothes, answering message said it was OK. We again drove the 20 miles to Seabrook (again) to drop off the clothes only to find one half the driveway coned off ? We drove up the other side and we were immediately chastised by a scraggly looking guy for driving up the ramp ? I asked why, and was told it was because it was raining, in fact it had just stopped, I mentioned we drove 20 miles to drop off our clothes and he said no because it was raining, I mentioned it stopped? He stormed off to get his manager who, when she came out, looked at the sky saw no rain and again I tried to explain we drove 20 miles she said she didn't care, we're closed. So after spending over an hour of our time and over 40 miles, a second time we drove off in the sunshine resolving to NEVER donate to Goodwill in Seabrook again. Clearly if this is the quality employee our donations support, we'll go elsewhere. The very large, unkempt, and adversarial manager's body language clearly showed us that our encounter had nothing to do with what was right, it was about her authority and her ability to flaunt it in the face of common sense. MOVE ALONG! NOTHING TO SEE HERE FOLKS! Worst. Goodwill. In. The. USA. NO DEALS TO BE HAD! You will not find a "treasure" (like I did in June 2017 at a REAL village Goodwill store in Vermont where I found a plate for 50cents that is selling on ebay $150). I'm a major "thrifter"...BIG TIME. All over the USA. I love Goodwills-the mission-everything about them. However, I'm talking aobut REAL Goodwills, not this ridiculousness trying to pass itself off as a thrift store. This is one of the new kind of "corporate" Goodwill stores full of things that have been donated from retailers still in their plastic wrappers. If you are into that kind of plastic-cheapo-stuff (which, arguably, sometimes you may need) then you can find it for $1 at a Dollar Store because there's quite a markup at these "corporate" Goodwill stores. (I'd estimate about 25% of the store is this sort of donated retailer merchandise. I don't think anything gets my IRE up more than going to a so-called "thrift store" and seeing the merchandise cost more than you can find it elsewhere. The furniture selection was total JUNK...Should have gone right to the landfill. In fact, a lot of the over-priced stuff they are selling should have gone directly in the garbage. That said, you MAY find some clothing you like (if you're willing to pony-up to $8 for a t-shirt). Seriously. I found a USED t-shirt from Chicos for $8 (which begs the question: Does some poor schlup who does the tagging think Chicos is synonymous with Neiman Marcus?). Can you find old-used-worn clothes that you will pay less than you would were they new at retail? Absolutely. The housewares/odds & ends selection was such a hot mess that I couldn't even browse. This is an EXPENSIVE place to shop....take some pride in showcasing your mechandise there folks! This Goodwill does NOT honor the military or seniors with a discount as REAL Goodwill stores do....again...this is CORPORATE Goodwill. You can BUY a discount card (AS IF you'd EVER spend so much money at this place to make it worth your while). Support Goodwill and it's mission? Absolutely. Support these "corporate" Goodwills? Not if you're looking for a deal or a treasure. You shall not find it here my friend. If you are looking for deals and treasures then search local THRIFT STORES on YELP (one of the best resources for finding thrift stores) and look for smaller thrift stores supporting local non-profits for that is truly one way you can "use your powers for good." read more

Im all for conserving and recycling. I thought I might purchase and clean a faberware percolator coffee pot, but it was priced at $5 and filthy inside. I noticed the lid had been steamed to white showing much use. I said to the associate "this appears to be heavily used. Do you really want $5 for this?" She said she'd call a mgr. We like to go to the Goodwill in Somerville but it is closed for renovation, so we tried the one in Seabrook for a change. What a nice place! New, clean, bright (in a mall). Wide aisles, clothes arranged by size; mens on one side & womens on the other. Lots of brand new stuff like school supplies; lots of toys & china & glassware. They had 2 slide projectors and an overhead projector today (July 21) if anyone needs these. I recommend visiting this store. read more
