This was a very peaceful experience. We came here as our second stop and decided to share a flight. They are very modern feeling with tables outside overlooking the vineyards. The service was ok and the wine was good. We came on a Sunday so it was pretty empty which made it a very peaceful experience.

Falkner Winery was the perfect venue for our October wedding. We specifically wanted a winery that offered both great food and a full bar (not just wine), and Faulkner checked every box. One of the biggest highlights was that their day-of coordinator, Victoria, was included--and she was fantastic. From the very beginning, the team provided a clear planning checklist and a list of trusted vendors, which made the entire process feel manageable (especially since we're not natural planners). Everything was organized, communication was strong, and it truly felt like working with a well-oiled machine. The venue itself is absolutely stunning--it genuinely feels like you're in Tuscany. The sunset views are unreal, and both the bridal suite and barrel room were beautiful spaces for getting ready and photos. The food was also a huge win. We did a tasting beforehand and loved it, and our guests are still talking about how good everything was. That alone says a lot. On the day of the wedding, everything ran smoothly and right on time. Victoria kept everything moving seamlessly, and we were able to fully relax and enjoy the day. We also added an extra late-night hour in the restaurant space, which was such a fun way to extend the celebration with more dancing, drinks, and late-night bites. Overall, we felt it was an incredible value for everything that was included. Our wedding day was one of the best days of our lives, and Falkner Winery played a huge role in making it so memorable. We couldn't recommend them more!

Came here on a wine tour over Thanksgiving break. Ambiance is casual and very chill. Some folks had on date-ish attire and others had shorts and tshirts on. Service was great. We had someone in staff give us a tour of the vineyard in addition to our tasting. Very knowledgeable, very friendly, their Sangiovese is SO good!

Great wines. Wonderful tour guide, Stephen. Beautiful property. So glad that this was included in our wine tour!!!

We had the best time!! We booked the VIP tour and Jim had the best table reserved for us. He was so knowledgeable about the winery, the wines and the wine making process. It was a step above the tastings I've done in the area which was exactly what we were looking for. There was a DJ that was playing the funnest music (not too loud), a beautiful view, and a taco truck if you're hungry. This was our first stop of the day and we were there for 3 hours. We love Jim!! I ended up joining the wine club and can't wait to come back.

This is the site for a wedding and had an extraordinary time. The facilities were well stocked, the staff was all very kind and the food and drink for except exceptional. We're over the venue itself was a treasure. What a beautiful way to celebrate a wedding.

Such beautiful views especially because we arrived just before sunset. There's a large deck in the front of the tasting room that overlooks the valley as well as a large grassy area to the side. Plenty of seating on the patio. I had the pleasure of trying their Almante Super Tuscan at a local event and came just to get a glass and enjoy the views. Andy was the wine pourer and he was super friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our wine on the grassy area and took pictures by the cute photo spot. Next time I'll have to come and try more of the wines and check out the restaurant on site as well.

We absolutely loved loved loved this winery. It's such a beautiful property. We got there around 1 o'clock in the afternoon on a Sunday , they had a guy making fresh tacos on the deck and a DJ that was spinning out some danceable Jams.... " a little bit too loud to be on the outside, you couldn't really hear a person talking to you" We decided to have our tasting on the inside and we could still hear the music. It was so fun. Very dog friendly. Wonderful people pouring the wine . I loved their Chardonnay and their Cabernet we will be back and we are bringing friends!!!

The view from the deck overlooking the vineyards.

Went for a wine tasting, and left joining their wine club. The service was wonderful, the views were spectacular. I'm looking forward to returning soon.

Jim is an amazing host and recommended the best wines for our pallets. He was so wonderful we even decided to become members. I will definitely recommend this place if you enjoy great views and excellent customer service.

We just had the most amazing wine tasting experience here with Jim! Jim has a slight accent from Denmark that is endearing but he was so attentive, informative and helpful. We've done ALOT of wine tasting but this was a rare experience of having such a knowledgeable person helping us. He knew so much about wines in general but especially Falkner wines and other vineyards in the area. Very impressive! I had no intention of joining their wine club but I did because he was so convincing and we are very glad we did.

Ask the Community - Falkner Winery

    Are kids allowed?

Hi Andrea! YES! Kids are always allowed :)

    Is the restaurant dog friendly?

Falkner Winery's tasting room and outdoor grounds are very dog friendly. However, the Pinnacle restaurant does not allow dogs.

Can visitors walk around the vineyard?

I do not believe so. They are overlooked and all dirt. The horse and carriage I took went thru the vineyard but that was on approve of the owners for that special day

    Is there indoor dining?

    Yes. At The Pinnacle Restaurant.

They did seat us separately, which wasn't what we would have preferred; however, we understand that the reservation was made last minute and we were also on a time crunch, so getting seated quickly was a priority. I know it's not easy accommodating a large group, especially on a busy day, and given our time constraints, I was initially nervous about whether we would be seated and served on time. However, the staff was organized, patient, and friendly throughout, and everything ran smoothly. Despite how busy it was, we received our food promptly, and everything came out well-presented and delicious. The chilaquiles were especially flavorful, and the egg omelet and potatoes were also excellent. Our group also ordered the Korean ribs, which were very tasty, and the French toast as well! For drinks, our group wasn't a big fan of the iced coffee, and the mimosa flights were a bit too sweet for my personal preference. I only really enjoyed two out of the four options. That said, they were beautifully presented and very photogenic. One thing we really appreciated was that they accommodated separate checks for such a large group, which made paying much more convenient. The space offers both indoor and outdoor seating. It is on the smaller side, but they still managed to accommodate our group comfortably. Overall, it was a really positive experience, and I'd definitely consider returning.

We started with a "Dirty" Vodka Martini for me and a Mac's Mule for her. Then, we ordered the Caesar Brussel Sprouts, the 1909 Burger, the Cilantro Lime Fish Tacos, and a couple more cocktails along the way. Everything was absolutely delicious! What really stood out, though, was the service. The entire staff treated us like we were longtime regulars--friendly, attentive, and welcoming without being overbearing. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, and reminded us of some of our favorite places back in San Diego. I saw that this restaurant is on OpenTable which was great because I could finally make a reservation since this place is always so busy. It was smooth and easy to make our reservations. We arrived and were seated quickly, great customer service from all of the employees here which was nice of course. We ordered and got our drinks pretty quickly, but our food did take awhile to come out to us. I really enjoyed that the hot dog was 100% beef since I do not eat pork. The tortillas were okay they didn't taste like anything and had a chewy texture to them, but they were fresh and hot and made in house. I also really liked the three house made salsas, great flavor on all of them. The steak and eggs were delicious! Tender delicious steak with great flavor. Overall I can't wait to eat here again, I really enjoyed it and the outdoor seating was really great, the wooden shades were a great touch. The bathroom was very colorful and well decorated, I loved the pink sinks! Very clean as well. In addition, they do military discount here, but they only give it to the person who shows the ID, it doesn't get taken off the whole bill. So if there's more than one of you that's military you all have to show your ID. Just a heads up. Very much looking forward to my next visit here.
