Hard to find, it's like a speakeasy restaurant, but once you're inside you're brought into a whole other world. The atmosphere is top notch. The service is so attentive, Michelin quality service. My husband brought me here for my birthday. We had reservations for a Sunday night and were seated right away. All staff were friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful! From the moment you walk in you're presented with a ahhh moment! The vibe is sexy,sophisticated and welcoming. We were greeted with numerous hellos and greeted by a gentleman (sorry, didn't get his name) that looked up our reservation and immediately took us to a great table for 2. Our server, Alfredo (*sp) was so attentive. Let's talk food! We shared the Pappardelle ragu pasta as an appetizer, perfectly cooked!! Hubby had the veal chop, he said it was like butter. I had the pork chop, I did a chair dance and a happy hand clap when I took my first bite! I was full but couldn't stop eating! The love in the food is real! I actually asked if I could see the kitchen because when I was looking around there was a positive energy pouring out of the kitchen. It's out of this world! I highly recommend. I don't think I will ever eat fried calamari again. lolThis was so much healthier and flavorful. I would return to Falcone just for this dish. The complimentary bread is so good! It tastes like an everything bagel and the herb olive olive is great! For the main courses we had the veal saltimbiocco and the spicy rigatoni. The veal was chef's kiss good and the rigatoni was delicious as well. The pasta was cooked to perfection and so flavorful. We had an amazing time dining here. Our servers Eddie and Rubin were exceptional. Falcone can be easily missed because it is in an old church and doesn't have a big sign. Nonetheless, this small restaurant offers quality food for a decent price due to it's location. It's complementary valet parking in a gravel lot in the back with a couple of parking spots to the side. The entrance to the restaurant is on the side of building and you enter into a uniquely transformed restaurant. It's a small space for a restaurant but it gets the job done. The servers are friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. The calamari are good but the jam on the fried ricotta balls were a hit for me. Although I didn't taste the hot honey in the jam. I had the roasted beet salad as well which was good since all the flavor profiles worked well together. The pappardelle was great as the short rib was seasoned. A lot of times from my experience the meat isn't really seasoned. The pasta, cheese, and short rib ragu all paired well together. I had to try a dessert so I went with a classic brownie with vanilla gelato. They didn't miss on the brownie and vanilla gelato combo. This place is a must try if you are in the area. read more

This was our second visit to Falcone's, and once again, the food was exceptional--but what truly set the evening apart was our waiter, Alfredo. From the moment we were seated, Alfredo elevated the experience with his warm, intuitive service and deep knowledge. As soon as he saw the Amarone on our table, he knew to decant it--no need to ask, no hesitation. That level of expertise and attentiveness told us we were in excellent hands. His recommendations throughout the night felt tailored to us, as though he instinctively understood our tastes. Every course was timed perfectly, and his presence was gracious, never intrusive--just the right touch at every moment. We started with the sweet and hot calamari, the sautéed artichokes in lemon sauce, and the beef and pork meatballs--each dish bursting with flavor and beautifully prepared. The bread served alongside the meatballs was warm, crusty, and impossible to resist. For my entrée, I had the Parmesan-crusted chicken in a lemon-caper sauce with broccoli rabe--tender, bright, and perfectly seasoned. Our friends enjoyed the scallops over creamy risotto, while the men both ordered the veal chop, which they said was one of the best they've had. While the food was truly excellent, it was Alfredo who made the night unforgettable. His professionalism, timing, and instinct turned a wonderful dinner into a memorable experience. This was our first time trying Falcone. We were so excited to try this "hidden gem". When we arrived, we were shocked by how dark it was inside. The ambiance was elegant but much too dark. While the service was impeccable, the food was subpar. The bread tasted like a salt stick. The meatballs were cold, tasteless and crumbly. The eggplant parm app was the best thing we had. So delicious but portion was small. We ordered the octopus app as well. It was thick and overcooked- super chewy. We then shared the spicy rigatoni entree , that came out 5 minutes after we finished our apps. I hate feeling rushed. Unfortunately, the rigatoni was extremely hard. Driving down the Newman Springs road you would never know there was a fantastic find right beneath your nose. If you blink you may just miss it. This old converted church, now painted black looks simple and non descriptive from outside , having no identification by name nor grand entrance, yet once you enter POW! " we're not in Lincroft anymore Toto" Falcone is the name of this gem. Upon entering there is feeling that you have left lincroft and you are now in an old loft like Soho building with beautiful bare brick walls and a soaring ceiling. Giant chandeliers add a soft dim light and very cool upbeat music gives this space a modern yet elegant feel. The staff here are just delightful. The tables are a bit small given the beautiful tableware which gives little room for any extra plates on the table but the glassware is of high quality Ok let's get to the food. The bread on the table was very crusty and fresh accompanied by a seasoned olive oil. The menu is pretty straightforward Italian Our table opted for the napoleon eggplant and the rigatoni with spicy tomato sauce which I must say was quite unique and very delicious. I would return just for this alone it was so delicious. Prepared perfectly al dente, (as so few restaurants knows how to do this ). I think it's a house speciality The Bronzino was Devine! With a crisp outer skin, gently flavored but extremely tender flesh it's one of the best I've had. Served with an arugula and fennel salad which compliments it perfectly A side of garlic mashed potatoes was delicious albeit could have been warmer as they were barely hot enough They are gracious though as they split our dish for us in the kitchen The olive oil cake here cannot be missed ! It's perfect. I do wish however that they had an herbal tea. Yes the cappuccino was delicious but sometimes a camomile or mint tea is desired after a meal. The service was amazing. Upon arrival, we waitied in the beautifully decorated lounge area to be seated. We were greeted by a server who.opened up and poured our wine, and then we were seated. The service remained just as professional and attentive throughout the evening, too. On to the food.Everything we ordered was divine. From the octopus appetizer, on to the lemon pasta and the veal chop which we both shared, every bite was filled with complex flavors that only a skilled chef could create. What a fantastic dinner we had last night at Falcone. The food was outstanding! The service (Blake) was so professional, and the ambiance was so romantically beautiful! We had a special appy to start (parm encrusted calamari- the most tender and tastiest we've ever had). I had the chicken Lemone, and my husband had the pappardelle with braised short rib. All dishes were large portions yet perfectly prepared and delivered reasonable fast! Total bill was around $100 (plus tip). It's a BYOB which is ideal - they obviously concentrate on the quality and flavors of their dishes. We will certainly be returning again soon! Valet Parking only. read more

I requested a corner table during my reservation and had to ask again when we got there - when you book two weeks in advance, not ideal, especially for a special occasion. Prices were outrageous for a BYOB. I never mind spending the price when it's good, but the food quality does not match the price tag at Falcone. Apps were better than entrees overall. Comparing this restaurant to other up scale Italian BYOBs in the area, it's over priced and not worth it. read more

Great atmosphere and nice folks but not really great food. Service folks don't know what each other are doing, 40 mins between app and main. I'm sure they will eventually figure this out. When main was served the fish was raw and had to go back for a redo. Again chef will figure it out. I think the kick in the balls was the price and as a previous reviewer stated ...they didn't care enough to take anything off the bloated bill. Aside from that the food was OK but IMO the entire experience was not worth the cost. $50 for an OK chicken parm (w/ $15 add on pasta) because it doesn't come with anything is egregious.
