Lively place for lunch. For a Friday at lunch was very busy. Service great and food was memorable. Appetizers greet of calamari and mozzarella. Enjoyed my shrimp dish. Finished off with cappuccino. A strong recommendation.

Had a fantastic lunch with my family, yesterday. Davide was our server and he was awesome. Made us laugh and was very attentive. We sat in the outside room next to the main restaurant and it was so relaxing. I loved the decor and it was the perfect setting. The food was absolutely amazing. True Italian food. As a Vegan, I had enough to eat. Wish I lived near here, because it would be my go-to for a great day or night out.

Ambiance and service is 10/10. This is a great upscale pizza/Italian restaurant in red bank with plenty of parking. The menu was a bit pricey but it's good for a special occasion. The server allowed us to take our time and did not rush our dining experience.

I really wanted to love this place, especially after hearing so much about it, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to the hype for me. The space itself is beautiful, I especially loved the covered outdoor area, which is really well done. That being said, the overall experience fell short. Our reservation was canceled just minutes before we arrived, and with no explanation of why that happened and then when we got there, no one greeted us at the entrance, which didn't set the best tone. As for the food, it looked promising but missed the mark. The calamari were dry and lacked flavor, the Caesar salad was underwhelming in both presentation and taste, and the spicy rigatoni, which I had really high hopes for was just okay and didn't stand out. It wasn't the experience I had hoped for, and my group of five all felt the same way. It's also pricey for what you get! With so many other great spots to try in the area, I probably wouldn't return.

What a lovely and delicious lunch. The staff is very welcoming and attentive. The space is fun and offers plenty of dining areas with a prominent bar filled with locals and knowledgeable bartenders. The portion sizes are significant so be ready to share. I really enjoyed the spinach arancini - yum! Overall, a very nice spot!

Birravino never disappoints! The ambiance is warm and lively, and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. I had the cozze oreganata to start - absolutely delicious, and you must use the bread to soak up every bit of that amazing sauce. For mains, the burrata pizza and the Sunday Sauce were both outstanding. Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. A fantastic dining experience from start to finish! Highly recommend.

Found this place on Resy and decided to come try it out for a little date night. We had a reservation so we were sat immediately. My partner and I both loved the decor in here. It felt like we were at someone's home for dinner. We also were fans of the open kitchen concept they had, we could see all the ingredients they use, the pasta being made, and the chefs at work. Throughout the restaurants they had plants and fun trinkets hanging up on the walls. My partner also wanted me to include how he loved this bike rack hanging on the ceiling, it did look super cool. The restrooms were clean, everything was super tidy in here! I wish we remembered the name of our server because he was spectacular. He had such an amazing personality, made us laugh, made sure we had everything we needed, and make sure we were taken care of!! The free bread was a 4/5: it was a good texture but I felt like the sesame taste was overpowering. Calamari was a 5/5: perfectly breaded and cooked. I love calamari it's one of my go to appetizers. And this one was perfect. It was tender, not too chewy, and well seasoned. At other restaurants I've been to, it was too cooked where the squid would shrivel and detach from the calamari but this one was AMAZING. If I wasn't saving my stomach for my pasta I would've ate the whole plate. The prosciutto e melone was a 3/5. It was a good flavor combination between the savoriness of the prosciutto, sweetness of the melon, topped with the herbiness of the mint. A very refreshing bite, but it wasn't anything insane, it's just melon and prosciutto at the end of the day, it was good to try but I wouldn't order again. My partner got the Mezzo Rigatoni and he relates it a 4.5/5. He loved the texture of the rigatoni, which I agree with, it was the perfect Al dente. He liked the flavor of the red sauce although he notes that even though the sauce was good it overpowered the flavor of the eggplant and couldn't taste the eggplant that much. But he says regardless of that the sauce was super good and he loved it. I got the Ragu Di Brasato and I give it a 4/5. Like I said previously, I LOVE the pasta texture. My sauce was kind of like a beef stew which was something I've never tried before as a pasta. I liked the hazelnut bits throughout the sauce that gave it a bit of a crunch and the beef was super tender. The sauce was pretty good but it was a little salty for my taste, but it could be my fault as I had a good amount of Parmesan added on top when the waiter came by. I wish we were able to get dessert but we were too full. But we were satisfied with our food and the server we had made the experience even better

Listen up - This may just be the best restaurant of the year for me (I'm aware it's only March) Everything was amazing. From the moment we sat down, to the moment we left. The ambiance of this restaurant, paired with a great menu selection and friendly staff, made this restaurant one I'll be dreaming of for days to come till I return back. We started with a Cesar salad to share and a margarita pizza. The salad was delicious - I love a good Cesar. The pizza was unreal. So fresh and delicious. Best restaurant pizza I've ever had. I then had an Aperol spritz and an eggplant for my main dish. That meal was 20/10. The eggplant was cooked to perfection and laid over a bed of house made pasta. I can't wait to get my hands on this dish again. My husband had the lemon chicken and enjoyed it too. He did state that my meal was phenomenal and he would order that next time. Ended the night with a raspberry tart and a cheesecake. Woah - these are not your regular defrosted desserts like at other places. These two desserts were so fresh. You don't want to miss out on these when you're here. Honestly, I can continue rave about this place, but go dine for yourself and enjoy the experience. Looking forward to returning back.

What a beautiful restaurant! The vibes almost compete with the food- I said almost lol. We went with a party of six. They accommodated every need for each person seamlessly. The waitress Marie was so friendly. She had great information and recommendations. Every person with me said the meal was the best they ever had. I got the eggplant and it was so fresh and flavorful. It was made with marinara on the eggplant and placed on fresh pasta which is glazed with their spicy vodka sauce... the result is delicious. To add to the meal, Marie told us the pasta is handmade there...and the mozzarella is made fresh every morning! The food is well worth the price point. It's a great time there. The restaurant is high class and has great food and service! Another great time with great food at Birravino.

My second time at Birravino and it was somehow even better than the first! The service was incredible, our waitress answered every question we had and offered some wonderful recommendations. The food was even better this time, everything was so fresh and it all exceeded my expectations. This is a great place for friends, family, or even a date night- just be sure to make a reservation ahead of time because it is popular. I think this may be my new go to Italian spot in NJ!

Thoroughly enjoyed this spot for dinner before a show at Count Basie theater. The service was quick and the food was even better. The dishes were way bigger than anticipated so I highly recommend sharing dishes versus getting your own. I will definitely be back for the outdoor area, it looked so cute!

I cannot enough about this place! The entire experience was 10/10 !! The host was welcoming and gave us the option of seeing the other side so we can pick which room we preferred. Our waitress was so helpful and was on point with the recommendations as far as food and drinks. We ordered a few appetizers and got two meals. Each plate was better than the next. ! I highly recommend the eggplant Parm and the spicy Bolognese . All the pasta is handmade as well as the mozzarella and you can definitely tell it's fresh and absolutely delicious! I also ordered an espresso martini, and it was perfect! Whether you're going for a girls night out or date night or just for good food I highly recommend Birravino and I will definitely be back

There is a parking lot across the street you can park at so no need to worry about street parking. The first thing I noticed was that this location was much smaller than the New Brunswick location and had a more chill vibe. I thought the happy hour menu had less selection as well. I was low-key disappointed there were no clams or oysters on the menu considering we are much closer to the shoreline. My husband loved his smashburger, it was very juicy. He also enjoyed the sweet potato fries which he normally doesn't like. My wings have the perfect amount of sauce where it didn't drown the wing and it was still a big crispy. It's certainly not ethical!) We were charged approx TWICE as much for the Website listed 'Special' tacos! They certainly were special-E'special'ly expensive! We asked to speak with the manager who indicated that she didn't even know that this 'Special' was still on their website. At that point (and in good faith), she should have offered us something as compensation! When told that they do not carry a common beverage-BLUE MOON, the waitress suggested giving me a similar beer and offered a 'taste test'. I could not tell if I liked the sample cause the shot glass had SO LITTLE beer in it-offering me NO TASTE at all. We also ordered chips, plantains, and salsa as an appetizer. For the cost of $14.00, I assumed it would contain enough chips for three people and might even be an unlimited supply. There were approx 15 chips on the plate and 6 plantains-which were tasteless. But think about it!? 15 taco chips for three people to the tune of $14.00?! They should be embarrassed! By 7:30, this restaurant was almost empty. We have been there several times over the years, but this place has deteriorated, in many ways, and we will no longer patronize this establishment!

The food was impeccable, and I must say, they truly do their meats extremely well. Here are some of the things we ordered. It was a very nice high-end charcuterie platter. 5/5 Stars. - Fried Calamari - They lightly floured and fried it. The eggplant was sliced thinly and was generously stuffed. 4/5 Stars. - Penne Vodka - They were in a light tomato pancetta cream sauce. I personally preferred a little spicier. 4/5 Stars. - Orrechiette pasta served with fresh tomatoes, garlic, and sausage, broccoli rabe, and basil in garlic & oil. They overcooked the sausage, but regardless, it truly was exceptional. 5/5 Stars - Shrimp scampi - It was overcooked. 3.5/5 Stars. - Boneless Roasted Chicken Cacciatore - the chicken was so tender and juicy. 5/5 Stars. - Pork Loin Giambotta - They grilled it to perfection, and it was still juicy. The halibut caught my eye immediately; I'm a sucker for a perfectly prepared piece of halibut or a great pork chop, and since my partner doesn't eat meat it made for an easy share. Earlier in the day, a couple of women at our hotel bar mentioned the chef had trained at Jean-Georges in Manhattan, which only added to our anticipation. It wasn't until we got back to the hotel after dinner and did a little reading that we learned just how decorated Harary really is; his Restaurant Nicholas held Zagat's top spot in New Jersey for 15 consecutive years and earned a 4-star New York Times review. That context made our middling meal sting just a little more. We started with the bread service and the beet salad. The bread itself was baked beautifully, but the butter and ricotta accompanying it were completely flavorless. My partner and I are not salt-at-the-table people; we trust that seasoning happened in the kitchen. This was the first time in recent memory that we actually reached for the salt shaker. Not a great sign. The beet salad should have been a showstopper. Beets, when done right, can carry an entire dish on their own. Instead, they were buried under an avalanche of arugula. Don't get me wrong, arugula is one of my favorite greens; that peppery bite and beautiful texture are hard to beat, but here it was doing all the heavy lifting while the beets sat underneath doing nothing. We'd eaten most of the salad before we even noticed the sunflower seeds and a smear of mascarpone hiding on the bottom of the bowl. That mascarpone, gently flaked on top with the seeds scattered over it to catch in the folds, could have made this dish genuinely memorable. The gorgeous candy-striped radishes were a lovely visual touch, but they were raw, undressed slices with no seasoning, no acid, no pickling. Beautiful to look at; an afterthought to eat. The whole salad felt that way, honestly. For our main, we shared the Panko Crusted Halibut with bok choy and smoked shallot velouté. The sauce was the star; the smoke level was dialed in perfectly, present in all the right ways without overpowering everything else. The wild mushrooms were lovely, but the dish needed something to break up the texture. The bok choy brought good flavor, but it mirrored the mushrooms so closely that each bite started to blur together. Something crispy, something sharp, would have elevated the whole thing considerably. The fish itself was cooked well; firm, flakey, and not dried out. The panko crust was gorgeous to look at but could have been crispier. Based on its beautiful golden color, it looked like it had more crunch than it actually delivered. The cocktails were a genuine highlight. An old fashioned made with 1792 and a Black Manhattan, both well-crafted and the clearest bright spots of the evening. The three people behind the bar were another highlight. Expedient, attentive, never rushing anyone, and willing to make easy conversation without being intrusive. That is exactly what you want from people working a good bar. The ambiance, though, was confusing. The space seemed to pull in two directions at once; it wanted to feel upscale but also like a sports bar, and it never fully committed to either. Three small TVs tucked into the corners would have been fine. The oversized screen mounted prominently on the wall was intrusive and clashed hard with any sense of elevated dining. The music was classic rock, which I enjoy, but it read as wrong for the room and was a tad too loud. The music for this type of setting should be something to just add some ambiance, not for people to shout-sing too like you've had too many beers at a dive karaoke bar, which I love by the way, this was just not that kind of place. Those same women from the hotel bar had also warned us it could get loud and obnoxious in there. We figured we'd take our chances. We probably should have listened. With the legacy behind this place, the potential is clearly there. The bar staff gets it. Now the kitchen and the room just need to catch up.
