Fresh, quality ingredients with tons of flavor. Had the avocado strawberry sourdough, hummus on waleed and crispy cheese rolls. I could literally eat my weight in those cheese rolls. Such a beautiful restaurant with friendly staff and delicious food. A must try!

This is what I called the near/perfect cafe. It's beautifully and delightfully decorated. The pastry is inviting and tasty. The waier told us to just relax and enjoy the occasion. This is owned by one lady featured in the painting. Will go back again for sure,

We were staying nearby and ate at this restaurant three times in three days. Delicious, beautifully presented assortment of British and Middle Eastern food options. I enjoyed the felafel breakfast, with a hearty serving of felafel balls, fresh veggies, and tahini. My mother enjoyed the plentiful, fruit-filled granola bowl (twice). Gracious servers and a fun, peaceful atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Not far from the Gloucester Station in the middle of other restaurants, you will find a well decorated restaurant that can be anything you want it to be rain or shine. It feels like you're in a garden outside, but you're inside their dining area that is dressed with dried flowers of a warm pastel palette. It is beautifully decorated. Great service. Our waiter got to us quickly and without actually telling him anything about our time constraints we were able to order and get our hot drinks shortly after. Noemi got her nutella and banana croissant shortly after. The Spanish Latte was amazing... it's a latte with a lower layer of condensed milk that you have to stir in. I didn't know what it was until, I tried it, now I want to try it elsewhere to see if they can mimic it. The folks with time all around us were ordering traditional breakfasts and or savory brunch items. It was a fantastic choice.

Wow! Wow! WOW! What a lovely breakfast experience. The decor, service and food were all amazing! Fait Maison Paratha, my meal was Turkish bread with eggs and cheese served with chips - enjoyed it so much! A rose latte was delicious. Aromatic and sweet. Please stop in and enjoy when you're in London!

This place was so good. I was craving exactly what they offered. The hummus dish was so tasty. I wish I could have tried the other 10 dishes on the menu. Next time.

We ordered the full english breakfast, poached eggs with avocado, pancakes, and scrambled eggs with potatoes. The service was quick and attentive. We had a good breakfast.

Beautiful well decorated restaurant located not far from the train station. This tea house/restaurant has wide variety of middle eastern food along with the afternoon English tea in the menu. Since I came here by myself in the morning, I decided to try the pistachio cake and rose tea, it was delicious and I was happy with my choice.

Beautiful beautiful place. I loved this place and will definitely go back next time I'm in London. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the avocado toast and a Turkish coffee. The Turkish coffee set-up was absolutely adorable. The avocado toast was huge it came with fruits and nuts. My fiancé got the lamb hamsa. He did not leave a piece a meat in the plate. The waiter said it would be the best lamb he ever had. And omg the decor was fabulous

I really enjoyed my tea experience at this location. If I'm completely honest, I couldn't get reservations to Candella but this location was availabilities. Right away the decor, i was in awe of the decor. They had an Easter display in the front surrounded by flowers by the front entrance. Honestly, if you're into the whole aesthetic look because you like taking pictures, this place would fit the criteria. I ordered the afternoon tea for one which IMO came with a lot of finger foods which actually left me feeling full once I was done. Unfortunately, I can't remember what came with my order but I do recall liking the scones and sandwiches a lot.

One of the most eclectic restaurant and tea rooms I have ever visited! Although it's theoretically a Mediterranean restaurant, they offer so many different options such as Afternoon Tea and plenty of desserts. The Hummus and pita were delicious and my Falafel plate was outstanding. The service at the beginning was lackluster but once they realized we had been waiting, they took special attention to us and made our stay a wonderful lunch experience!

Cute cute cute!!! Fait Maison is a cute place in Kensington for afternoon tea, brunch, lunch and more! They have an extensive selection on food and the staff are very friendly. I stopped in late afternoon and had afternoon tea. It came with super cute pastries they made in-house and finger sandwiches! I loved me lavender Earl grey tea and their scones! Thank you for a wonderful time!

We were able to grab a reservation for an early dinner the same day. They had the front door/windows open so it feels as if you're dining al fresco, but still inside the restaurant. I was hungry and ordered the steak and fries. The steak came with a pat of herb butter. You can only choose med-rare or well-done. So of course, it was med-rare for me. It was delicious with fantastic flavor, enhanced with the melting herb butter. The fries were crisp and delicious. I don't know what type of sauce came with my steak on the side, but I ended up dipping my fries in them, and it made it a different experience. Thankfully I had room for dessert, so my wife and I split the Birthday Dessert Box. No it wasn't anyone's birthday, but the menu describes this as a golden chocolate orb with vanilla ice cream, honeycomb, chocolate strands, freeze-dried raspberries, gold flakes (didn't notice these), and the server pours hot salted caramel sauce on top when it arrives. This was divine! What a great way to end a fantastic dinner.

However, the young lady who has been the hostess of late has people skills that are almost repellent, at least so far as they have applied to me. Last night, a special night to celebrate the upcoming nuptials of one of my best friends, was marred by her giving us a crap table. When I asked for something a bit better and indicating that in my booking I had requested a booth, she responded snootily that booths are kept available for walk-in VIP's. If I owned the place, I would have fired her on the spot for making a remark like that. So, for those of you who are not VIP's, and I expect a few of you might not be, be prepared to sit where you're relegated and not where you'd prefer.

It had a pleasant ambience to it, like a little mid scale camparison of Woodranch, as the waiters still served you wearing aprons. The food selection was good, they had a variety from pastas, salads, and meats. My husband and I ordered the 10oz Ribeye, usually served with Frites, but we asked if we can change it out to creamy mashed potatos. My daughter had the sirloin steak with frites, and my son had a cheeseburger with frites. The food was delicious, and the service was great. Our server was a gentleman named Daniel, who I understand worked at a different location, and was just there to fill-in that night. His mannerisms was sweet and service was amazing. When he found out we were from the US, he got excited and showed us some memorabilia from his visit to the US that he considered good luck. The desserts were also delicious. Chef Mark Kempson hits the right notes in serving upscale and contemporary dishes with French influences in a comfortable and warm interior and modern environment. The food was absolutely superb and at a relatively reasonable price for this restaurant caliber. They do offer a tasting menu for £75, but we opted for a la carte dining. The amuse-bouche of black rice crisp with a pea hummus created an incredible balance that started the meal with great anticipation of what was to come. The appetizers of warm salad of artichoke and cauliflower and grilled cornish mackerel with smoked eel were well executed and tasty. The flavor profile of the cornish cod entree with its aioli and baked fennel was spot on. For dessert, the more popular chocolate pave with the salt caramel was heavenly for chocolate fans, while the vanilla crousade with the strawberries was equally creative and rewarding. There was no dish in its presentation that did not meet expectations. And also notably, service was also exceptional. I aggressively pursued and secured a last minute table at Kitchen W8 during my stay in London and I was absolutely glad I did. Highly recommend Kitchen W8!

To an American, you would ask, why do things correctly? But it is perhaps the highest compliment, and I learned to appreciate that when I lived in Paris. English people know the value of doing things properly. French staff and clients? Beveled mirrors and touches of engraved glass? Short, non-flowery menu descriptions? Check check check. I think in a number of years when the floor gets more scuffed, and they cram the tables together more, it will feel downright parisien. I just had to get the duck confit, as I always do, and it was very good. You could see the rebellion showing through, however, as it was served on a bed of beans and sauce of pureed green herbs. To finish, the froid-chaud, or as we Americans call it, a hot-fudge sundae. All in all, a thoroughly satisfying meal. Gluten-free notes: Many French dishes are naturally gluten free! The whole thing of "all French sauces are full of flour" is utter rubbish, as I learned while living in Paris for several years. They were able to confirm which dishes were gluten free.

The service was incredible and it's evident that the wait staff here are at the top of their game and enjoying what they do. You'd think they had been open for years rather than just a few months. Clientele seemed to be mostly French, or at least they were able to speak French very well. This I have to say only added to the atmosphere, which is definitely formal enough to be a special occasion place but by no means stiff. We ordered a half bottle of the Gewürztraminer which was the second cheapest on the list, but the quality was very impressive. If that's anything to go by I suspect the rest of the wine list is very good indeed. We ate from the set lunch menu which is extremely reasonably priced and the standard of the food was enough to have us planning a visit in the near future for the full A la Carte experience.
