I went less than a week ago, and at first it was nice because they were listening to what I wanted. But my shellac peeled off , it looked bubbly/unfinished and finally after work I noticed it peeled off. My overlay manicure also has some bubbling and I'm nervous the same thing will happen to it. Never had it happen to me before and it was my first time trying this place
The atmosphere is relaxing and welcoming. Everyone is friendly. I have had the occasional need to fix a nail the didn't come out right but the techs are always more than happy to help. I needed a special design today so I made my appointment with Tommy, the owner, and he did not disappoint! I gave him an idea of what I wanted and he did the rest. He really wowed me with the results!!! If you need something special, ask for Tommy!
I went on a Monday at 2pm, and they got me immediately. I'm pregnant and tired so I was glad I wasn't forced to talk. I asked for gel and white with the ring finger silver. Came out great just like I asked only 30$, she was fast and friendly. Definitely coming back!
Got my nails done by Susan. It's Shellac Manicure. She did a good job although I came a little late. She was so nice and kind. Do everything carefully, especially cutting my cuticle. I love it
The staff is friendly. The place is clean and they are adhering to methods to battle covid. Covid practices: Plexiglass is in place for workers and customers, temperatures are taken prior to services, hand sanitizer is available and they spray down after each customer. Staff: Nancy took care of me today. Now let me begin with something most experience-the removal of dead skin. Nancy literally took time to shave off the dead skin. Many places do a quick file and leave it at that. She didn't place a time, lol, and I tipped her for that! Cleanliness: The nail salon is clean and so is the restroom. They do sanitize. Prices: Prices are average compared to the market. In my opinion, they are reasonable. For a deluxe manicure, deluxe predicare & additional 10 minute leg message- $60. Work ethics: They do great nail work and designs. I had only a clear manicure and pedi today. You can find them on fb and look at the work of other clients.
Don't waste your time or money. It took almost an hour for me to get seated, I went in for a basic manicure $12 and it was NOT WORTH IT. I'm attaching pictures because I can't even describe how bad they look. I do a better job on my own at home, but figured I'd save myself some time and treat myself to a mani. The guy who did my nails, got up not once but TWICE because he went to attend to other customers while working on my nails. He was so rough with my cuticles and didn't use a remover of any kind, just after the briefest soak went at it with a cuticle pusher. They hurt so bad! He also didn't even try to shape my nails, even after I asked that he even them out. Will definitely not be returning.
Always a happy customer! I have been coming to Yen and Tommy on and off for years. They are great people and always consistent in their good work. Love my nails today! Thanks Tommy!
Honestly, this is one of my go to places. The pedicure services are always great and relaxing. My nails are usually a hit or miss. On a good day, my nails are clean and well polished. Today was okay.. I asked for shellac French tip and the work was not what I expected. I have polish all on the skin, (she took off as much as she could), the French tip started off right, but seemed to be rushed as this is the end result. A bit disappointed to say the least.
My daughter and I walked in and asked how long would the wait be for 2 pedi's. We were told no wait, pick our color and they were ready for us. We did that. They came and started on my feet, but nobody came to start on my daughter until they were halfway done with me. She opted out at this point. We were not asked if we wanted anything to drink, but in their defense, we had part of a starbucks drink when we walked in. I was never asked which pedi we wanted. In fact, I did not know they offered different packages until we left and the "menu" was sitting on the counter where I paid. The place is new and clean, and the staff was nice enough. Not really friendly (maybe they were with the regulars, but this was our first time here), but cordial. Overall, it was OK, but the fact that they told us there was no wait, but then my daughter sat waiting while they did over half of my pedi, with her feet in cold water by that point, makes me drop the rating to a 2 from a 3. There is no doubt in my mind they knew that once they started one of us, we could not leave. At this point, I don't plan on returning.
This was $28! I absolutely love it. They're a perfectly shaped, the acrylic isn't goopy or thick and the polish is nice and even. I tried this place after enjoying a pedicure here, I used to drive to pearland from Pasadena to get my nails done but I was looking for something closer. I usually do the SNS dip powder but these are a regular full set with polish and it was half what I usually pay for dip powder. I love them, I didn't catch the Tech's name but she the only one in there with a cute bob haircut and glasses. I very much recommend her.
This has become my regular salon - which is what I was searching for when I moved here. I love this salon and did end up going back to acrylic nails and they are always amazing. I got shellac on top of my acrylics for Valentine's Day, but I normally just keep it simple and do pink and white ombré. I recommend this salon to everyone who asks about my nails and didn't hesitate giving it 5 stars. Everyone is so nice and makes the experience relaxing.
Shellac bleeding into every cuticle. This is going to be a mess before the day is over. When I went back inside to show them the solution was to "buff it". The whole reason I do shelllac instead of dip is because I'm super sensitive and the drill hurts me. Never again. FYI this was at 9:30am and not busy.
Went and got dipped powder and my eyebrows done . They did an amazing job . I would definitely recommend coming here . My new nail place . My picture looks bad but the nails look really pretty in person.
Pedicure done by Mai. She left my little tootsies feeling good! I've been coming to Fairmont Nails & Spa for YEARS, and I've followed Tommy and Yen whenever they've moved for 20+ years. They work 6 days a week and are always consistent. They take the time to get to know their customers and they have a huge number of regulars. I don't even have to tell Tommy how I want my nails done. He already knows, and when I went through a phase where I wanted something different every time, Yen put her best creative foot forward and never let me down. The ladies that do the pedicures are all great and friendly. We have conversations about their families and ours. We discuss our vacations and plans. It's an open area with a spa-like atmosphere. There is a separate room for waxing and they have contemporary music playing, while the TVs show whatever talk show/news is currently on with subtitles so you know what's going on. I have zero intentions of going somewhere else for my manicures and pedicures. When you have a good place, you don't leave. read more

I went here a few times and they did well. After a few visits the quality in work and customer service depleted. I always tip and normally make an appointment. I didn't have time to get my nails done again, so I popped in for a removal. The tech burned my nail and I reacted, she did not apologize or seem to care. When I sat down, she insulted me saying my nails grew out so long. She improperly removed the acrylic set and even tried ripping them off with an extra acrylic nail. She left artificial nail on all of my nails, I realized this when my nails have been in pain. As seen in the photo, my real nail beneath the artificial residue. I have chipped a piece off of the artificial left on top of my real nail, seen in photo 4 in my palm. This is an outrageous way to treat a paying customer, let alone anyone. I am not going to the salon to rectify this so they can cause more damage. I have previously voiced my concern at a separate visit, about the lack of professionalism and aggressive practice done by some of the techs here. It does not seem to me like this salon truly cares about all of their customers and that is disappointing because I had referred family to this salon but will be warning them to save their money and health of their nails. Also worth noting they would only offer certain customers a water, never once did they offer me a water. read more

Coming to this spa is always a excellent option as I can always trust the nail techs to do a wonderful job! My shellac white toes lasted so long and did not chip no matter what I bumped my toes on while in my sandals. The neutral matte nails I asked for were even better as the nail techs do not mind being extra creative for their clients!! Thank you for your services! read more

Loved my nails. I have to have very short nails for work and almost every time I go get them done at other salons they never do them as short as I say even when I tell them to go shorter. Here at Fairmont Nails & Spa they did them EXACTLY how I wanted them! I love a simple look and the guy did amazing and was so fast. Would definitely recommend! read more

I got a full set and deluxe pedi yesterday. I walked in at 6 and their were a few people ahead of me however I didn't wait long at all. I'm not sure of the name of the lady who did my toes but she was awesome! So kind and when I started falling asleep she lowered my chair without me asking. Tommy did my fullset and he was also kind and gentle. Best fullset I've ever gotten. Color was perfect and he did the exact shape I wanted. I was iffy about coming here but I'm so glad I did. This is my new nail spot. They both took their time and even though they close at 7 I saw people walking in at 7:15. Great customer service. read more

I was in the area and wanted to wait till traffic died down before I took my journey home so I decided to go get a pedicure. My pedi wasn't great at all, she rushed through the whole thing. The polish was applied horribly, it didn't even last 2 days. I will NEVER go to this nail shop again. read more

Great service I felt so pampered and taken care of and my technician was so kind. I'm extremely shy and have a stutter so I don't talk much and I appreciated her not trying to force a conversation which happens a lot. Just tapped me when she need something or for me to move. I love my nails and the price wasn't crazy. For a deluxe pedi and medium acrylics with a design $108 not including tip. Love my nails will be back :]!! read more

So I was going to Mexico back in march and I wanted to get my nails done. I had something in mind of what I wanted exactly for my nails and it was like a greyish purple with a sunflower to add some detail. I could not have chosen a better place to have gone. I am so glad I chose this salon they where super nice although it took some time i walked out of here a happy customer because I had messed up on my color choice and they where patient with me in choosing a different color. Its been two months and my nails still look like how they were when I got them done. I only gave it 4 stars because i rather have a place that has individual packages rather then sanitizing the same tools over and over again. Overall though i will be coming back for sure. :) read more

I loved this place when I went the first few times and thought I finally found my new nail spot. After awhile I started to notice the quality just depended on who was doing the job. The owners were very friendly and did a great job each time but the other two ladies that did my nails, they had either broken within a week, cracked, or started to lift. At one point I had to get a new set every week or every other week. For pedicures, it's the same thing. If you get lucky to get someone who takes the time to do a good job then it's worth it. They can do a good job if you have the right person. It's just very disappointing because it's very inconsistent since you don't know who you will get. The best thing to do is just make an appointment with whoever you like. read more

This was my first time coming to Fairmont nails, the place it's self was very nice, clean, and cozy. The staff was very friendly and you could tell they love their customers and their jobs. The only reason I did not give a full 5 stars is because some of my nails were filed pretty uneven, and one of my nails has like patches. I also got a pedicure which was very nice the woman that did my pedi was very sweet and gentle, I just wish they took more dead skin off lol I will continue to use Fairmont nails for the great prices and service thank y'all read more
