So, I took the leap....re-evaluated all of the "comments/reviews" sections for all of the shops in my area and somehow landed on McKenzie's Brows and Beautie shop. Here's the bottom-line, I made my first appointment with McKenzie and received a great deal of information and "care"....but no joke---it is a bit painful...and I totally left there without the feeling of "great accomplishment", I'd hoped for. But, McKenzie had assured me that the 2nd session, the touchup, (which she schedules right there on the spot...and at no extra charge!) would make it all better...AND GUESS WHAT people...it did and boy do I feel good about my decision now....and my brows look great! She said 89.99 plus 20 for the master stylist. I said no one told me it was additional for a particular stylist. She apologizes and says they should have told you. I explain the price was supposed to be 79.99. So she to tells me I discounted the price to 79.99 plus 30 for the master. Wait what it was 20 a minute ago? Updating previous post. I'm happy to say they actually called me and refunded the additional amount. I'm always happy to update a review when the company does the right thing.

I had a membership for two credits a month until I canceled in December. I hadn't even used up all five credits, and it hadn't even been ninety days, but today they told me that I owed them $109.99 and called the police on me after I told them I wanted to talk to the manager ANA tomorrow. They could not produce the cancellation papers and ANA kept telling me I didn't have five credits. This business has shady practices. If you decide to risk being a customer, always ask for copies of any paperwork you sign, and always have your credits in writing if you decide to do the membership. I ended up paying the $109.99, but I will never come back to this business. They lost a good customer because they can't keep track of customers' paperwork or credits, and on top of it, called the police on me when they didn't give me all the credits I was due. I feel bad for my lash stylist who got caught in the middle. But I don't feel bad walking away from the bad business practices and the poor customer service. Just don't come here. Don't let them tell you lies and call the police on you when you try to stand up for yourself.
