My other concern was that I wanted to find a place that had really great reviews- they are working on your face after all! So... here is it... Natasha is WONDERFUL! She numbs your eyebrow area before starting the microblading. So, the most you feel is pressure. And in some places you don't even feel pressure. Believe me when I say that you do not have to be concerned about pain- I DO NOT like needles and have a low pain tolerance. The numbing process honestly feels like a really rough eyebrow plucking. Then once that is done, you don't feel a thing while Natasha does her magic. Skin Solutions Day Spa is my new favorite place! It's very cozy, you walk in and you are met with wonderful, relaxing smells. Everyone I met was very patient and nice. Great customer service- which is an absolute must for me!! They offer so many different services- eyebrows, eyelashes, massages, skin treatments. It's hard to just choose one! And honestly, the reviews all speak for themselves. I highly recommend this place- why drive all the way to Houston when you can have first class spa services right here in the Suburbs?! The color was not what I asked for, which is why she offered a second toner to try to correct it. However, my hair was already breaking off from the treated areas, so I left before the second toner because I was afraid more processing would make the damage worse. During the bleaching process, I noticed the bleach was dripping, which has never happened in my experience getting highlights. Then, right before being rinsed, the aluminum foil burned my scalp in an area about four inches in diameter. This is likely from the hair bleach dripping and reacting to the foil. I started noticing breakage while still in the chair, but I did not realize how bad it was until I got home and saw that the treated hair was continuing to break and fall out. There are chunks of strands of hair that have fallen out, I used to use a bigger ponytail, and not I'm having to double the ponytail for it to stay. Half of my hair has fallen out. I initially contacted Jeremiah, the Director over the SH Hair Salons, sent photos of the damage, and requested a full refund because of the breakage and incorrect color. He told me I needed to go into the store and have a manager look at my hair before any refund or resolution would be considered. Jeremiah also said he has been doing hair for 25 years and that a little bit of hair is supposed to fall out from highlights. I understand normal shedding can happen, but I have been getting highlights for around 20 years, and I have never had this much breakage, damage, or scalp discomfort. Regardless of what I say about my experience, he has downplayed what I say. I returned to the Clear Lake location and saw Libby, the manager, who tried to fix the mistake made by Genesis. She tried to salvage what she could, but a significant amount of my hair had already broken off and fallen out. She also could not get the color to match the honey blonde I originally came in for. I specifically wanted to be blonde, and the final result still does not match what I asked for. After going back in person like I was told, I continued messaging Jeremiah about a refund. Even after showing photos of my broken hair, hair that had fallen out, and the color not matching what I requested, he has not responded back to me about refunding me. My hair is fragile, breaking, visibly damaged, and still not the color I asked for. Very disappointing results, scalp discomfort during and after the appointment, and poor handling of the refund request. I would not recommend this salon.

I was researching facial fillers and found this Oasis because it was mentioned on a website called…read moreReal Self. It was a good review, although the actual review was a bad review for another establishment. The review mentioned that Oasis fixed the screw up the other establishment did to her tear troughs. The pics that were posted looked good so I called and made an appointment for May 13. The receptionist was very helpful in answering a few questions I still had. Like how long for the bruising to go away, etc. I invited a friend to my appointment for support, but once there, she decided to get fillers too. Delana assessed both of us at the same time and to my surprise, I didn't need tear troughs filled after all. There was a mix and match sale on the day I went, so Delana suggested I try mixing Juvaderm Ultra and some Botox. She said if we're smart we can get great results using less product. The last time I had fillers I got 2 syringes of Juvedrem and 40 units botox. (Now that I see Delana's results, I wonder if the other establishment didn't cheat me.) Delana has a very light hand. She injected gently and I hardly felt any pain. I went back to work right after. (NOTE: If you wear make up, take some with you because the make up you have on will be wiped away and you'll look a mess if you go back to work.) After 24 hours, the improvement is amazing. I paid less than $500 and addressed all my problem areas. I got filler in both cheeks and on the deep 11 between my eyes. I also got botox on the corners of my eyes and on the corners of my mouth. Delana said I should get better results with botox on my marionette lines than I will with fillers. SHE WAS RIGHT. The corners of my mouth are starting to turn north. I've had filler in the marionette lines before and this looks so much better. I am so glad I made the call. I'm definitely going back. My friend did get her tear troughs done and that turned out amazing too. Oh, and one final note. Now that I finally got the results I always wanted, I feel like such a chump for chasing the groupon specials. I tried 2 of them and I ended up spending way more than I did at Oasis and not the best results. I'm from Houston/Sugarland area and Webster is a long drive from here, but I don't mind.
