I came in yesterday to get some powder polish removed. Susie I think her name is. She the one who did my nails originally and didn't end up doing a great job she left several nails bumpy and rigid when I got them done on the 14th. I came in yesterday to get the polish removed cause I was having a hard time removing them at home. Susie proceeds to grind my nail down on multiple fingers then tells me my nail is super thin well they weren't thin before she left the grinder on too long. On a few of my nails she went straight thru the nail into my skin. I give you Susie 0 stars she doesn't know what she is doing. And she still has left some polish on my nails. Not worth the couple hundred I spent on 2 different occasions In The last week $133 the first time and the 2nd was $141 and then the $12 I paid yesterday for the removal $286 and didn't get great results. First time was a mani/pedi with my daughter and got regular polish hands lasted 2 days max feet still going strong on polish. 2nd time was powder and airbrush for ombré effect. It was cute but was bumpy and uneven and Susie wasn't listening to the length I was wanting. 3rd time was for removal and she has made my nails thin and they are now causing some pain cause several of them are grounded down to the skin. read more

I've usually had a great experience at Posh Nails, but the last few visits have felt like the quality has been going downhill. Unfortunately, my most recent experience was the final straw. I'm not usually one to complain because I understand everyone is human and mistakes happen, but this was by far the worst service I've ever received here. I initially requested my usual tech Mimi but more recently she has been staying busy and have had a few different techs these last few time. My pedicure tech started off well, and the foot massage in the beginning was honestly the only positive part of the experience. After that, things quickly went downhill. She would reposition my foot herself, then somehow end up pushing it and blame me for "moving," even when I wasn't moving at all. At one point, she kept readjusting my foot and lightly slapping it while saying, "No move," which felt rude and uncomfortable. While clipping my nails, she repeatedly tried wiping the clippers on the towel under my feet, but in doing so, she poked/stabbed my feet several times. Thankfully, she didn't fully break the skin, but it was still painful and concerning. When it came time to paint my toes, I watched her smudge the polish herself, yet she again blamed me for moving. I asked if she could fix it, which she did, but then she dropped the polish brush onto my pants and leg, leaving polish on both unknowingly to me, ensuring me that it was not on my skin or pants. She also smudged the same toe again during dropping the brushed, proceeded to look right at it, tapped my foot, and smiled without properly correcting it. The final part that really upset me was the massage. I had paid for a 5-minute massage, but she did it dry without using any lotion. When I asked if she would be using lotion like in my previous appointments, she simply said, "No, no worry." It was extremely tense and uncomfortable -- honestly the least relaxing massage I've ever had. To make matters worse, she started the massage around XX:50, realized around XX:51 that she hadn't set the timer, and then changed it from 5 minutes down to only 1 minute and 30 seconds, ending around XX:53. At that point, I was so frustrated and uncomfortable that I just wanted to leave. I had somewhere to be afterward, which is why I got the pedicure in the first place, and once I left (changed clothing) my friend noticed there was still a very noticeable spot of dried polish on my leg from when the tech dropped the brush. I was honestly embarrassed and extremely disappointed. This is the first time I've ever felt the need to leave a complaint about any service. I've always enjoyed coming here, which makes this even more disappointing. I truly hope management addresses this, because the level of care and professionalism I experienced today was unacceptable. However, the tech that did my nails when I showed her a piece of rough skin under my feet smaller than a mustard seed wear my Birkenstocks rub and she frowned up then I showed her the back of the heel and she frowned up again. I'm like lady you're in the wrong business and I still tipped her just rude, she didn't refuse my tip. Then she put me in the nail dryer and never saw her again. I've been here twice to get my eyebrows waxed. The first time was great, no issues and I was content with the price and service. I went again yesterday and it was absolutely horrible. I asked for any eyebrow wax & at first the cashier seemed confused. She spoke with some other employees then told me and my boyfriend to take a seat. Not a big deal. Shortly after, I was called and the lady who did the waxing ripped off a huge chunk of skin. She said sorry and said the wax spread. Honestly when I first saw it, I couldn't really notice it. It might be because the lady was moving the mirror around so quickly that I couldn't really see it. On my way home, it became extremely red and the pain just continued to get worse. I looked in the mirror again and saw just how awful it was. If I knew it was that bad when I first saw it, I would have refused to pay. Looking back at the situation, I think someone who doesn't normally do waxing, did mine. I think that's why they seemed rushed and confused. I wish they had just told me they did not have availability or had me wait for the correct person. Either way, I will absolutely never return here for waxing or any other service. This one experience was horrible, and the fact that they rushed my service, tore up my eye brows and still had the audacity to charge me is inexcusable. There's so many other things I noticed in retrospect that tell me just how unprofessional this place really is, but I just don't have the energy. I think I may have liked this salon had I of had another technician. The young lady at the reception desk was very nice and the decor lovely. Pricing very fair. BUT I had the roughest, inconsiderate and thoughtless technician I've EVER had the displeasure of doing my manicure. He couldn't have cared less what I wanted, felt, preferred, liked, thought or just anything at all. He seemed angry, upset and was taking it out on my hands. His file was a weapon. TLDR, don't come here for attention to detail or quality service. Super disappointed in the quality of the service I received today. Upon arrival, a friend and I stated what services we'd like to receive. A gel mani and polish pedi for me, and a full set and gel pedi for her. We were directed to the polish wall to select our colors, where we were asked 5 more times what services we needed by 4 different people. We felt incredibly rushed trying to pick out colors as employees overshadowed our browsing, while putting color swatches into our hands. I even asked the person waiting on me if they could help find a specific colors, a dark sparkly purple, to which she did not respond. After settling on a color I didn't really care for, I received the service I requested but both services were completed alarmingly fast. Before my gel was applied, I decided to switch to regular black shellac with the matte top coat. When the matte top coat was applied, it was not done thoroughly and quite a bit of gloss could still be seen, and it was fixed after I pointed it out. However, after leaving the salon, I saw that not only was the color uneven, but where the touch ups were made, the finish was now streaky and has since bubbled up like the gel was not cured fully before the top coats were added. My friend's service was not better. Her pedicure was not shellac, and the polish does not go to the edges. The person who was doing her manicure disregarded her concerns on the shape she wanted, and was clearly rushing to finish. Extremely disappointed I won't be able to get my nails fixed as I'm visiting from out of town, and this was supposed to be our pre-vacation pampering. We wanted to relax and enjoy ourselves. They proceeded to stare us down & rush us to make decisions about designs and colors. This salon is a hit or miss. I used to get my pedicures here regularly and there was always a 50/50 chance that I would get excellent service. The times that I did were worth the money spent and that times that I didn't I would leave disappointed because the nail tech didn't want to do a thorough job and just wanted to rush through. This is not okay when you're spending well over $100 every time. The last few times I've come in to get my nails done as well as a pedicure, I left feeling so unhappy. I got a full set with powder color a few months ago and they were so thick and uneven. I had to ask for them to clean under my nails, and still left with clumps underneath. It was very sloppy. I went again in August for basic white tips, but was talked out of the way I wanted them done. The nail tech didn't want to square round, he said "only teachers and nurses get square round, it's very boring, you're too young for that" like okay it's fine to joke around, but it's what I wanted. I let him talk me into getting almond shape with painted tips instead of the white nail and I was so upset with how they turned out. I've been getting my nails done for 15 years of my life and have never had a new set done that terribly. He was also unnecessarily aggressive and cut me and made me bleed a few times. When he was done he could tell I was upset so he gave me a discount and told me to come back the next day so he could fix them. I told him I couldn't because I was leaving to go out of town. He just kept saying "come back tomorrow " and quickly rushed me out. I didn't even get my pedicure. I had to go down the street to nails of America to have my nails fixed and get a pedicure. I went in again last month for a pedicure and now I think I'm officially done with this place. I was cut a few times and the paint job was sloppy, yet again. I noticed how how messed up my toes were before I left, but didn't even bother to ask for them to be fixed since they were about to close. It was just regular polish and I was able to fix it at home. I will say I feel like they rush A LOT when they have walk ins.. I'm so disappointed this time. I always get shellac on my toes! The first picture the nail polish just completely slid right off. The clear coat underneath was still intact, the shellac just slid off. I went in, they fixed it no problem, I did notice that what the woman put on my toes was not shellac, or maybe it was a different brand. I am very particular about my nails, especially the shaping, and he gets it right every time. Liam is also great but he's only ever started my nails and more so manages the shop from what I can tell. They are very personable, respectful and accommodating and I will keep making the drive because it's SO worth it. They'll probably get tired of me because I'm always in there lol, but if anything that just speaks to the quality of their work. So I usually don't write reviews but I have been going to this place on and off for about a year for acrylic nails and I think I've only ever had 3 sets that I actually loved and never had to go home and fix.. almost all of the techs that I have went to always get distracted and barely pay any attention and I feel like they try to rush through everything like they don't even care how it comes out at the end...they are a decent place to go if you really need to get something done and can't wait but other than the 3 sets there has always been something a bit annoying or a little bit off like when they don't clean all of the dust off and get it under the top coat (that happens alot) or when you ask for matte top coat and they do gloss or when they file it they file it at an angle so I have to fix it to get it straight when I get home. But this last time I went (which was yesterday) was the absolute my tips aren't even glued down to my nails and there's gaps in almost every single one!and some of my nails look like they are already grown out, they aren't the same length, they look great from a distance and from the very top. There's a reason why I pay someone to do them instead of doing them at home but I guess it's time to find a new place.
