Don't come here. You need to clarify with them from the start what you want. I came here over a month ago to get acrylics removed and they charged me what they said $10. Today , because I had already came before I didn't ask for the price I just asked to get them removed once again. I get charged $30 when I go up to pay and I let the man know there was a mistake. He said it's $10 for removal and the rest for a manicure. I never ONCE asked for a manicure I just needed my nails removed. I got the same exact procedure done as last time. It is so ridiculous, do not come here they will take advantage of you. I have been living in this area for years and this is by far the most disappointed I've been in a business near by. I'm leaving here annoyed. This is the first time I've ever been here, and honestly... the last! I'll start this by saying if you EVER go here, plan to tip in cash, because apparently they don't appreciate card tips. All I wanted was a trim and repaint on my toenails. My usual place was BUSY. I was heading to Sally's Beauty to get some polish to do it myself, saw this place, and thought "why not try it out?" They said it would be $10 for what I wanted, and I was willing to pay that. I got the chair and asked if I can leave a tip on my card. The lady said yes. This place is not fancy compared to my usual place, but every place is different so I'm keeping an open mind. They seem to have "regulars" so they're obviously doing something right. So, I go to pay and when I pull out my wallet, the guy says "You have cash tip?" I said "I need the tip to go on my card." He says "you can tip her in cash." Like, yes sir, I have cash in my wallet. I know you saw it when I pulled my card out, but I pay for things like this on my card to keep track of my spending. My cash is not for unnecessary things like pedicures. I told him I needed change because all I had was a $10 bill. He gave me a $5 back which was what I asked for, but I'm very annoyed because I specifically wanted to leave a tip with my card, and he wasn't having that. read more

I haven't had my nails done in over a decade for many reasons; work, school, wanting to save money, general dislike for girly things. So I'm really pleased with how these turned out! They're simple, short and not super thick like the ones I had 10 years ago. The process was faster than I expected and they were fairly inexpensive. My only complaint is that I wanted a cuticle treatment and I guess they forgot but I was in a hurry anyway. read more

There were three people working. At least two didn't appear to have any training on properly removing shellac (not sure about the third, she was doing a pedi), despite his claim he has been doing it for years. When the young man started to use cuticle clippers to pull off the shellac from the first finger, I stopped him and left. I am not sure how they would do on a regular mani/pedi but I won't be going back to find out. read more

Went it since I was recommended for a friend to see Rick. Rick was not there and only 2 technicians were available. My friend and I walked in and someone came from the back to finish up another customer who had been in there before us. The services were rushed. I wanted acrylic French tips and the tech put the white halfway on my nail bed. I corrected the issue before he got too far. The overall product was fine. My friends nails were misshapen and definitely rushed. read more

This place is quite the hidden gem! I come here when a day of pampering is needed to get my mani, pedi and eyebrows waxed. Make sure you go see Michelle and let her take care of the rest. The great massage chairs, multiple televisions and the way Michelle takes care of her clients...you leave Nails Place feeling like a million bucks and incredibly refreshed. I went here with a friend to get Independence Day pedicures. The young woman who was working on me had to have been a fairy or something magical, because she turned my rocklike things into silky, soft and sparkly feet! I was very pleased with how the polish turned out. I had asked her for a more complex style that involved three colors and a glitter top coat. I did not like the service at the place all I need was to take my nails off that's it. I went on a Sunday I called ahead to make sure they were not busy and available. The guy said they close in 10 mins but they would be able to. So I went since I was on Fairmont. They sat me down with acetone and left me there for 30 mins! While they were busy with other customers. I understand there was only 3 people working but don't say you can work on someone and then do it in between someone else. I complained on how much longer and he said 10 mins "because my nails were too thick" really now that's just an excuse to keep me waiting. Well they ended up somewhat taking off my powder in less then 10 mins and charged $15 and she still had the nerve to ask out loud if she wanted her to add the tip to it! Um noo it literally took me 45 minuets here for a horrible job. My nails were crooked and still has a thin layer of powdered that I have to fix. read more
