The manager Dana called me right away to correct my nails and apologize for the service and let me know the issue had been addressed. I appreciate any business that contacts their customers and takes these issues seriously. Thank you Lalla's. I have been a loyal customer for over a year and I only come to Lala's but today will be my last. The tech who did my chrome full set manicure in the front was very rude. I am so nice to everyone and she just didn't want to be there. Bad attitude just because I was asking questions. I don't get my finger nails done often. She cut my cuticles twice and made me bleed, used a large and painful tip on the drill. She didn't apologize for making me bleed and then when my nail accidentally bumped the nail dryer she loudly said "UGH!" And Rolled her eyes. So embarrassing. I have never been treated this poorly by a nail tech. I was still nice enough to tip her but I shouldn't have. She has ruined this salon for me. I expect Lala's to hire much nicer people for the prices they charge. I'm so upset. The nails look okay I guess. I just wanted to hurry and leave. One Star. Things started off well--the space looked nice, they soaked my feet, and I appreciated the complimentary Thai iced tea. I specifically told both the host and the nail technician that I wanted my cuticles pushed way back and my nails cut very short. They said they would. Two days later, looking closely, the job just isn't good. My nails are still long on the sides, they snag on my bedsheets, and the cuticles barely look touched. For a $32 pedi (plus a 20% tip), that's disappointing. This was my first and last visit--I don't recommend this place. read more

I decided to try this nail salon because of the ratings I seen online. The place was nice, quiet, and relaxing but the quality of service and the pricing was a nightmare... I asked for a simple French manicure on my real nails (I never get acrylic nails) I normally go to citrus which is also a luxury nail salon but I have NEVER had to spend over $100 with tip. I paid $97, and as I was getting my nails done, I came to the reviews and noticed a lot of negativity from the employees if you try to ask why they up charge for everything. Mind you, I did not even get acrylics!! They're just my natural nails! So I paid $65 for something so basic? The tech offered to trim my cuticles for an additional $8 and I was confused because I always get my cuticles taken care of inclusive in my service, it's a GIVEN. It should be a part of the service. And then if I wanted the white part of the tip to he "higher" it would be another $10, and if I wanted a certain shade of pink for the base, "another $10" I will not be coming back. I was so upset when I left but I felt no point in trying to dispute the price. Please avoid this place because they truly do try to take advantage of their customers and it's just not worth the price. Im not satisfied with my nails either. read more

I've been a loyal client of Lalla Pedi Spa since they opened in 2022. Getting my nails done is one of the ways I treat myself regularly--I never go more than 6-8 weeks without a visit, and until now, I've always had decent experiences. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was extremely disappointing. I was assigned to a nail tech I hadn't seen before, and her technique was unlike anything I've encountered in my 16 years of regularly getting my nails done. I politely asked her to cut my nails shorter, and she told me she would do so after applying the acrylic--something I've never heard before. The process felt disorganized, and the results reflected that. My nails were uneven in length and thickness, some were crooked, and the edges were inconsistent--some square, others rounded. I calmly expressed my concerns and asked if she could fix them. Rather than addressing the issues, she kept brushing me off, saying she would "get to it later." Eventually, I accepted that they just weren't going to be done to my usual standards and decided to let it go. But when I went to pay, I was surprised to see an extra $5 fee. I asked what it was for and was told it was for the length and shape--despite the fact that I got short, basic square nails, the same style I've always received there without being charged extra. When I respectfully explained that I didn't understand the charge--especially given the poor service--I was shocked by how the manager responded. In the middle of our conversation, she called another client, paused to ask if they could come in later, then looked me dead in the eye and told me that if I was dissatisfied, I didn't need to come back. I was stunned. I wasn't rude or aggressive--I simply shared that I was unhappy with the service for the first time in three years. Instead of an apology or an attempt to make things right, I was essentially told I was no longer welcome. I can't recommend Lalla Pedi Spa after this experience. If the first sign of dissatisfaction results in you being rejected as a customer, it speaks volumes about how they value loyalty and treat their regulars. * I would also like to note that it's not like my nails are utterly atrocious. There were just a couple things about them that I wish they would have changed. My pedicure was cute though. read more

The first time I came here for a full set and pedicure was magnificent I don't remember the woman who did my pedicure, but Kayla did my acrylics and it was amazing, they lasted for a full month, no lifting until the 4th week, and no chips, or breaks; she also made sure the acrylic started right at the nail bed, that the 2nd week barely looked like a week had passed. This second time I went a man haiwan I think his name was, filed my thumb and didn't apologize, he didn't offer any refreshments, and did such a lazy job on my nails, he didn't start the acrylic at my nail bed and after day 6 it already looks like a 2 week grow out, I'm barely at my second week and I already have a chip and my nails are lifting I'm so disappointed. read more

My daughters BFF went to Lalla Pedi Spa for a gel manicure with dark brown polka dots. She showed Kevin (the tech) a photo, and he asked if she wanted them a little longer for $7 more. She said yes -- and without explaining, he switched from gel to powder. When it came time to pay, she was told the total was $70. Caught off guard and feeling too nervous to dispute it, she paid. Her mom immediately called and was told by the manager they'd change it to $52 -- still high for what she got, but better than $70. When she went back in, the manager and Kevin argued with her, raised their voices, and claimed polka dots are $20 extra. They then refused to honor the lower price. Upselling without clear consent, hidden charges, and worst of all, yelling at customers -- never again, Lalla Pedi Spa. I hope the short-term profit was worth losing future business, especially from a kid. read more

I have been to Lalla Pedi Spa a few times, but the last two visits have been a nightmare. First, after I got a pedicure, my toenail became badly infected. I thought this was a simple mistake on their part and decided to give them a second chance. However, this will be the last time I go to this place. During my most recent visit, the lady was too aggressive with the scrub on my skin to the point that I left with a burning sensation and truly irritated skin. She was also rude throughout the appointment. The burning sensation was so bad that I couldn't even wear pants--everything hurt. The pain and burning have not stopped; I continue to experience discomfort. The pain has left me with no choice but to make an appointment to see a doctor. After the pedicure, I spent the entire day dealing with this ongoing pain and irritation. When I got home, I saw that my skin was extremely irritated and I could barely touch it. To make matters worse, the price was extremely high for such a horrible experience and lack of customer service. This was the worst experience I've ever had. read more

I was visiting home from Cali, and found this location based off of Yelp reviews. Lalla Pedi Spa is a very cute nail salon and the ambiance is nice and cozy; not overwhelming like many other nail salons in Houston where it is usually a large location with a lot of people can be overwhelming. I came here mid week and although service was slow, I didn't have to wait too long. The staff were accountable for the wait and when service was done (pedicure) they were attentive. They also serve complimentary drinks while getting my toes done so that was nice. Highly recommend this location as this place is updated, clean and friendly staff who have attention to detail and aren't in a rush for you to leave. I'd come back whenever I visit Houston. :) read more

I'm new to Pasadena and luckily by my second try at getting a pedicure here and finding a great tech, I came upon Lalla. I'm a nail artist myself and great pedicures are important to me. From the care taken with nail filing and cleanup to the relaxing atmosphere to a great polish job - all of it is important. Dana hits all the marks and provides a pedicure just the way I like. I don't even have to watch - I actually get to just relax, that's rare for me and I need my self care to be more like this. I always get the Glowy and order up a vietnamese coffee. Then there's the warm shoulder wrap, the great massage chair and the massage they give not just with the scrub but the lotion. I truly look forward to my monthly pedicures. p.s. Lalla is BEAUTIFULLY decorated and the space is so clean - even the bathrooms. This is what modern nail salon dreams are made of. Prices are not bad too say they are luxurious ( my pedi was only $37 +10 tip). I love the decor and the employees are so nice. Literally not trying to be this customer BUT... My cuticles are sore and hurt from the drill used by nail tech. I told him a few times that the drill was hurting me and if there was a smaller one. He'd stay quiet then eventually tell me it's bc he's trying to do a good job. I went Saturday. They still hurt today. Set starts at $42 $5 for nail shape, $5 for length. $52 for one color powder.
