I called this morning before coming in and got an appointment for 2PM. This was my first time here. I took off one star because I arrived on time but was not sat until 2:33 because they were backed up. I admit I was upset, i didn't mind waiting, but no one said anything to me other than asking if i had an appointment and after i answered yes, i sat for 30 mins without an update. Anyhow, when i did get sat, i got a full set, color powder, the male that works there did my nails (i didn't catch his name), but he finished within 45 minutes. It was fast, but it was good work. He made sure all of the lengths were even, and made sure i liked the shape and color. I would say the pricing here is average to any other nail salon. I paid $43 for my set - i did not need a soak off or anything. ***They do have screens set up to separate customers from employees to reduce spread as much as possible*** Pros: The place is pretty quiet, so pretty relaxing They have drinks: water, coffee, soda, etc. They have WiFi They almost have gift cards! Normally I really like this salon and go here regularly. My last appointment was very disappointing. They stuck me with some new lady who was very rough and aggressive. Every single nail was bleeding (both hands and feet), she was so aggressive with the nail push and cuticle trimmers that I was literally cringing every time she touched my toes and fingers. There was blood all over the towels. The other ladies getting pedicures were giving me the most sympathetic looks, I was actually crying I was in so much pain. Luckily and surprisingly I didn't get an infection, but that is because I came home and soaked my hands and feet in antiseptic and then smoothed Aquafor on all my cuticles, and repeated this daily until everything was fully healed. I am still undecided about going back here, sadly this has been my go-to salon for the past few years. It is very convenient and close to my home. read more

Edit after a few months: Moved from Houston back to the Northeast and I miss Tina's work. A regular mani/pedi lasted me days and she was great. Miss her! It has been a week since I got my nails done and they are still great (just regular manicure). Best price for the area ($30 mani, pedi). Went in as a walk in for a pedicure for 2. Only waited about 10 minutes before being seated which was great. This isn't my usual spot but I needed to get my toes done so I went here based off of reviews for the area closest to me. I enjoy pedicures that the techs take their time on- which I will give a plus to that because my lady really did take her time. However, she was really rough with handling me and also did hurt me in the process. Even when I would flinch she just kept going with no regards to how I was doing. Just wish she would've been a little bit more considerate. Cleanliness I didn't feel was the best. I just noticed them doing a quick wipe down with a dry towel on the seats once a client got up. Tubs weren't lined and tools were in a big bucket not individually wrapped or anything. I got my nails done yesterday they look really got she did ombré on two fingers . She was really nice trying it on a fake nail before doing it on me asking if i liked it also testing out if i liked the color . But she did cut me three times on accident asking if i was ok afterwards and cleaning my cut . I just came out of work and had been wanting to get my nails done so I come to this place with my best friend. I sometimes come here and they usually do great nails, I loved this place until now... this guy(I don't know his name) short hair with blue scrubs plus this white coat looking like a doctor. He got me first and started to shape my nails lmao first of all he cut them way too short then he got this color that wasn't what I wanted. Mind you he didn't ask if I was okay or anything and he was a little too rough with my hands, I have smalls hands and they're delicate. I told him my nails were too short so he had me sit somewhere else to put my fingers in these little container things and told me that this lady would get me. I was sitting there for a good 10-15 minutes (all he did was put the fake nail on no acrylic) the lady saw this other lady come in and took her instead of me. At this moment I am beyond pissed, my best friend was sitting next to me getting her nails done by the same guy and he treated her way better than me. I don't want to bring race into this but my best friend is way lighter than me (we're both Hispanic) and I'm a Carmel color ish. I'm never coming here again. read more

They give the best and most consistent pedicures in this area. It's hard to find a place that will actually take the time to do a great job plus not feel rushed. You go get a pedicure to relax and this place is the best place to do so! They have 3 different pedicures to pick from ($20, $30, or $45). I get the deluxe package which is $30 plus paraffin wax for $5 more. They have a good selection of colors to pick from too. Another plus is that the nail polish actually lasted more than a month without it chipping. The place is very clean and the technicians all seem very friendly. I am a regular here. I come at least once a month to get my nails done. They have always given me great treatment. Vinny is who I like to do my nails/ eyebrows the most. The nail techs are friendly, but don't talk too much, which I like because they get the job done well and fast. I always get Shellac on my nails and it usually lasts me almost 3 weeks! At the end of the manicure treatment, they always give a neck massage which is something I always look forward to! They usually always offer me a beverage as well, and even offer free wine! For the pedicures, they have 3 treatments you can choose from depending on how much you want to pay. I usually opt for the Deluxe Treatment (I believe $30) which includes normal pedicure procedure, an orange scrub on your legs, and sometimes I add on the hot wax treatment for additional $5 when I want to treat myself. It feels great! The salon is clean and they have TONS of colors to choose from, more than any other place I have been. There are lots of workers so I rarely have to wait, even without an appointment! I have never felt rushed like I have at other places, and I really appreciate this business for that reason. The reason I did not give this place the full 5 stars is because occasionally, I get a nail tech that doesn't do the neck massage/ leg massage as long as others or not as well.
