I haven't had my nails done in over 10 years and was very vocal and taken advantage of. I was asked what type of nails I wanted: powder, or shellac. She insisted I get shellac even though I said I wanted powder, so I went along with it. She was very rough and my nails look disastrous. Mind you, this is the SAME DAY. Look at the gapping. I used to like going here because I like the long durability and quality of the nails when finished, and the environment was always nice, clean, and pretty whenever I went. However, I had a terrible experience the last time I was there, and I will never be going back. I was debating as to whether give a review or not, because I don't do reviews often and it's been a while since my nails were done, but my experience was definitely bad enough. When I went in, and while they were somewhat patient with me and what I wanted, they were also Not. So. Patient. At. All. The technician that was doing my nails was rushing and cut my cuticles a couple or a few times, with no concern for me and my welfare or my being there. Terrible Customer Service. At the end of the service, when I was going to pay, I had lost my credit/debit card. You would think that they would've been a little bit more patient with me and let me look a little more for my card or wait until my Dad or someone who could pay for the service would pick up his/her phone, before devasting me and threatening to call the cops or calling the cops, telling the cops on the phone straight up that I wasn't going to pay for my service (basically accusing me of stealing, which definitely never ever would've even ever been the case).. I was in tears for about 30 minutes to an hour while I was waiting for someone to like my Dad to pick up his phone, and the situation was almost seemingly set up to just embarrass me or to be rude. They even gave me a time frame for coming up with the payment before calling the cops. The whole situation was Not Handled Well, and anyone could lose their credit/debit card (not just me). They overexaggerated the whole situation. I've been known to lose stuff, but never to not make a payment.!. They nails turned out pretty enough, but in my experience, for being called creative nails, the people who have worked on my nails have always seemed to not be so creative with their designs, and it seems like I've had bad customer service there before.. So, I had to call and make an appointment which was absolutely fantastic. I like that instead. Yes you have to wear a mask but get over it and do so. I was the only one there with a wonderful lady named Cindy. She was absolutely amazing. She took her time and made sure I was comfortable. No rush like some of these other places. I truly enjoyed my pedicure and she didn't try to force me into getting a manicure or picking a different type of pedicure. I chose my own pedicure (get the deluxe by the way), they open a new bottle of color every time. Was definitely amazed and I will definitely be returning to see Cindy!! I was debating on writing this review because I was giving this place the benefit of the doubt. I normally don't write reviews, but this was the last straw. I came in here on Friday to get a mani and pedi. They took me and the two others I was with right in. We started out with our pedicures, which went really well. I have been here before and I had the same lady do my pedicure and she was amazing, like last time. When it was time for my manicure, I chose to get acrylics. I believe they had someone new doing it because someone was watching over her the whole time. From the looks of my manicure, she did a decent job. I had no complaints. My nails were fine up until the next day around 5pm. I was opening up a letter and my nail popped off; which I thought was odd. So I rushed over to the salon before they closed to get it fixed. I didn't think it was a big deal because they closed at 6 and I got there around 530pm. When I got there, they looked like they were all ready to go. They took me anyways and I had a different lady this time fix my nail. She seemed very impatient and continued to touch my nail to see if it was dry every five seconds. After she finally fixed it and my nail was drying she seemed to be in a rush and didn't wait for my nail to even dry she rushed out the door, before I could even say thank her. Shortly after that, once my nail was dry, I didn't think to examine it. Once I got to my car, I looked at my nail and it looked absolutely awful. It was longer than the other one of my ring finger, it was thicker at the top and to top it off, it is Wednesday and it just now popped off... again. I like this place, they are very sweet, but I do not recommend getting a manicure here. I will not be coming back if I'm in need of a manicure. read more

I went in on a Saturday morning for an SNS manicure. I had my heart set on getting a NexGen manicure at another salon, but they were all booked up for the day, so I went here as a last resort. I went in to have my acrylics taken off and get shellac. Made an appointment ahead of time and still ended up waiting 30 minutes while they kept taking walk-ins, completely ignoring me. I eventually was sat down and a lady started working on my nails. Then, another lady comes up and starts yelling at her that she is supposed to do someone else's nails (a customer that had just walked in). I waited another 20 minutes and was finally started on. The lady tore the acrylics off my nails, breaking my real nail and causing me to bleed. She never bothered to smooth them out afterwards. I asked her to please cut them and she did, although she made them very uneven. She did the shellac and missed many spots and even failed to paint half of one nail! It was very rushed and was done in about 20 minutes. I then was charged $40 for just shellac and to take off acrylics. Will NEVER be returning here again. Totally a "meh" experience. It must be hit or miss depending on the manicurist but my nails were really sub-par. Recently my nails got some weird ridges in them and when having my manicure done (just a basic manicure, not acrylic) the manicurist gave them a generic buff and then proceeded with the painting leaving very visible bumps. I second what others have said regarding the whole session feeling rushed. The woman was a total sweetheart but between the rushed, crappy job and the up selling to get me to purchase an eyebrow wax or an upgrade to gel, it just wasn't worth it. Also, I'm not too picky when it comes to the atmosphere and ambiance of a nail salon (quality work is all I care about) but this place was fairly shabby. They also had a really bogus selection of music playing. Instrumental versions of easy listening top 40 hits of the 70's. read more

I went with my best friend and we both got mani and pedis done. I also got acrylic nails done and their price is the cheapest in all of league City and clear lake. I really enjoyed going to this salon. I no longer do acrylics on my nails and switched over to SNS nails and unfortunately this salon does not do them. However I still get pedicures here but the last two times I went weren't that great. The lady forgot to put the rose petals and orange slices in my water and I had to remind her. She said she was sorry but the pedicure was almost over. Also I asked her not to cut my nails down too short and of course she does. Love these ladies! My daughter and I visit them twice a month and it's lovely to walk in and be so welcomed every time we go. Their work is great; even with all the crazy requests that my daughter has for designs on her nails. The shop can be very busy so you may wait some days, but they make sure you are comfortable when that happens. Great work and great service draws great crowds! Let me say my experience was GREAT. I came here for the first time over a year ago and was not impressed. Since that time things have changed. I am not sure if there is a new owner or manger but whatever change they made it was the right thing to do. I came in for a full set and Tammy took care of me. Tammy took her time and did a good job. My nails look fantastic and I have received several compliments. Since Tammy did such a good job I came back the next day for a pedicure. Jackie did my pedicure and was it fantastic too. I did not feel rushed and enjoyed the experience. The best part is they don't try and talk you into extra services. The price listed is the price you pay and the prices are reasonable. I came during the week so I can not comment on services provided on the weekend when they have more clients. I highly recommend this place to others. The first time I came here to get my eyebrows waxed, the lady did a good job. So the second time I came to get them waxed. The lady messed them up so bad . Both uneven. I like this place and I feel that they do a pretty good job on my pedicure,however, the massage could've been better--the massage part was meh. :/ The environment is ok...no music, television turned off. The decor is very simple, however, during my pedicure I was asked: if I wanted to upgrade my pedicure package, if I wanted a parafinn wax added to my package, if I wanted to extended my massage for more $$ of course, if I wanted my eyebrows done, and finally if I wanted design on my nails.
