I have to say first off, I was skeptical of the reviews thus far for this shop because they all had 10 posts or less. I found a coupon in the snail mail and I realized they're the closest smog shop to our house so I figured I'd give it a try. We just moved here less than a year ago so we don't know the area well so it was a blind try for smog shops this time around. Also worth noting that I didn't tell him I found his business on Yelp. It's my assumption that any business that knows this prior to your experience will always try to butter you up in hopes that you'll post a positive review that isn't indictative of the overall typical experience. I called first just to find out approximate wait times etc. and if they could get my car in while it's still running warm (good tip for those wanting to help pass a smog). He told me he could get me in and out within 30 minutes or so at most. He was suprisingly very upbeat and talkative on the phone. At any rate I told him I'd be down within an hour. I found the place towards the very end of Western St, right before it intersects with Horizon. It's a very small business on the back-end of the parking lot there, so small you'll miss it if you aren't looking hard enough. At any rate I went in and gave him my coupon and registration. He gave me the form to fill out and immediately went outside and brought my car in. I filled the form out then sat down. Sent an email from my phone and text my wife and he pops through the door saying "you're good to go." It was pretty impressive how quickly he got it done. I didn't look at a clock but I'd have to guess it was below 15 minutes. He was talkative and helpful towards the end and I now know where to take my cars to get them smogged. Was an overall pleasant experience with prompt service and you don't feel like you're interrupting their day by asking a few questions about the process like I've had with many shops in the past. read more

This place is great. I needed to get my husband's car smogged quickly and for a fair price. Originally I was going to take it to A-Test Only on N. Texas, but when I called (and asked for the discount mentioned on their website), the guy told me the total would be like $60. Ridiculous. Really!? For a 2002 Hyundai Elantra? Forget it. Also, their website has a crap load of grammatical and spelling errors - not exactly professional. So I found Fairfield Quick Smog and crossed my fingers. They honored their website coupon and my final total ended up being around $35. Not only that, the entire process (from walking in the door to walking out) took less than 20 minutes. A little tricky to find in the business park maze, but that might just be me being navigationally challenged. When it's my car's turn, I'll definitely be coming back here. read more

Yes this place is kind of out of the way, but I was quoted with the cheapest price among the surrounding smog check stations so I decided to take my car here for a smog test since my registration is due tomorrow! Yikes I know-- super procrastinating. Any who, Staff was nice and helpful as soon as I arrived. I handed over my keys and started my stopwatch on my phone. I wondered "How long will this take?" The previous reviews seem to have a general consensus of a quick turnover so I'm hoping this will be true for me as well. I def used the check-in coupon which have me a nice little discount. Really glad I went here. I came about half an hour after they opened up (8:30am) and I was in and out within ten minutes. The guy was very friendly and did a great job getting me through my smog with flying colors. The place is kinda randomly out of the way, but it's clean and organized. I redeemed a coupon from their website and got out with paying about $36 bucks total. An absolute bargain compared to some other places. I will definitely return here for my next smog! read more

First off, I found out this was highly appraised location for smogging, so I had to go! It's a little off the beaten path but if you actually use gps (which I used after I got lost) you will be sure to find it From start to finish, the process to only 13 mins! (Yes I clocked it.) Wait time was about 25 min, smog & all! I went during the week around 4pm. Lady in the office was very nice & knowledgeable. The waiting area is small with about 6 chairs & there's fresh water available. No public restrooms though. My total was $38 and a copy was sent electronically to DMV. And FYI, there's a brewery, pizza place, & convenience mart all within walking distance if the wait is long. read more

Got there 15 minutes before their advertised opening. I was surprised that the shop was just opening up and the technician waved me inside. He was very courteous and informative. Wow when they say quick they mean quick anddd I went on a Saturday. I think I sat there for 5 minutes, passed and they electronically sent it to the DMV and I went home. This place is awful. An outright lie. Customer service doesn't even exist. They will rob you. Go anywhere in Fairfield but this place.

Few weeks ago I was here to get my smog check. I found this place on Yelp and the pricing attracted me to come to this place. However, this place turned out to be the most expensive. They will find any small cause to not pass your smog check. They engage in unethical form of business and they have the most unprofessional behavior. This place doesn't provide a free second chance retake so make sure you vehicle is in the best shape inside out. Otherwise, if you did not notice that your taillight is out. They will not tell you anything about that so they can fail your vehicle to make more money. I highly recommend not to come to this place. read more

I was very skeptical that this place had such great reviews but they definitely live up to their reputation! I was very impressed by the friendly attitude and how quickly my smog was done! No more than 10-15min and I came in 20min before my appointment (not necessary). Small waiting room with wifi, air conditioning, and plenty of magazines. Service was fantastic!
