Came here two years ago for first smog and everything went well and quick. Smog price is $69.95 + $8cert + $3 card charge. Come out to $81 something. A little pricey. Second time I came, my car failed due to monitors of catalytic converter and O2 sensor not ready because of recent change of battery and car not being driven in the daily. Fair, totally my fault, but I was still charged $81. He told me to drive the car more and come back, then he's gonna charge me $49.95 + $8 cert for another test. I will never go anywhere else, this is the place to go to get your car smogged. When I say they do it fast, I mean like 8-12 min and you're out. You could probably do this on your lunch break but don't hold me to the time. If you go early enough you won't have to wait at all. I think the max time someone has had to wait is 20 min. The original price can seem pretty expensive, but my time is pretty important to me so in a way it's worth it. The store business next door told another waiting customer that this SMOG inspection place was closed all previous week. No sign on door about closure. Do not use this guy if you have a diesel. he knows nothing about how a diesel engine works. He kept revving the engine and a little bit of smoke would exhaust before the turbo wound up and corrected the fuel/air mixture and failed me. All other systems checked out. He said he had never seen anything like that before and I said, have you ever seen a diesel engine before? Funny thing is he passed the truck last time.
